Congrats to Ed & Stacey on a perfect pivot from Pit Stop to the new place! Stopped in for lunch with the younger daughter and had a great meal. We don't have a lot of restaurants in Birchwood. Given the population, one could even say we have too many places to eat. That said, we have just one place like this. Part coffee shop, part niche lunch place and part Birchwood souvenier shop. I didn't know we needed a place like this in town until they opened. We picked a pair of paninis to split. I knew that I wanted the Turkey Bacon Jam and also had an interest in their Italian. My daughter was willing so I ordered both and we split them.I started with the Italian and was immediately impressed! Big, bold flavors, a little spicy, a little crunchy, a little chewy - yum!As much as I liked the Italian, the turkey was even better! Plenty of bacon to offset the inherent healthiness of eating lean turkey. Beautiful melted cheese and a nice bit of pop coming from the sauce made this one the best bite of the meal.An ornament for the Christmas tree came home with us as well. They have a neat selection of sundry goods and souvenirs too.

Since the hubs Ben S talked about the food, I thought I'd add some color commentary regarding the coffee and gift shop. And a review from me would not be complete without a note about how my service dog was received. So glad to have this place open up in Birchwood, WI, pop. 402! Us locals know that this place was opened by the previous owners of Pit Stop; Stacy described it as what keeps her busy in retirement but I see her hustling every time I'm there. They have a wide selection of beverages ranging from black coffee to the frufriest of coffee beverages. Prices are in line with most coffee shops of this caliber. What really sets this place apart is the selection of merchandise. They have the largest selection of Birchwood & Red Cedar Lake merchandise in the area. Not only that, but their items are unique, not like the stock t shirts you'd find everywhere. Our latest acquisition was a Birchwood, WI, pop. 402 Christmas ornament, but it won't be our last:)Would I return? Yep, and my girls also love the placeWould I recommend? Yes, for merch & coffeeService Dog score: A+ - no interest in her and altogether ignored her (this is what all dog handlers hope for but usually don't experience)

Wonderful addition to Birchwood! We went twice during our stay. My son is extremely picky about his bacon and he said it was "great" so that's like the highest praise. The muffins and donuts were good. Tea and coffee were tasty! The inside is beautifully done and the merchandise offered is super cute. Please enjoy your coffee on the outdoor patio, it was so nice. Everyone was so friendly, we can't wait to go back!

We stopped in for lunch and shopping with our group and had such a great time. The paninis, the croissant breakfast sandwiches and the drinks were all wonderful and such great service. Highly recommend and we will be back next summer (plus I got cute souvenirs too!)

Cute little place to grab a bite to eat, a coffee or to get some work done/chill. Owners are very nice.Tried the lemonade refreshers, the sweet cream cinnamon cold brew, the brown sugar oatmilk shaker & the honey mustard turkey wrap during our stay in Birchwood. Definitely recommend the wrap and espresso shaker!
