Dunmire’s on the Lakes

The place is very convenient, very close to all the entertainment places. You can see the lake on the patio! There are a lot of yard games under the patio! It's fun for kids. The food is amazing! We loved all the dishes we ordered. The price is very reasonable. The waitress was super nice!

Large establishment with a fun brunch menu. We sat on the patio deck and were early enough to be accommodated easily as a large party. The food was tasty and portions were large. Good coffee. Right on the lake with a nice view. Our server was a pro.

I'm surprised this place isn't rated 5 stars! I'm pretty picky when it comes to food, especially when you're spending a decent amount these days. I was impressed by the service with our server and how attentive he was in checking back in. Had a raspberry Moscow mule and it was very delicious! The appetizer we ordered were cheese curds and it was very nummy! Crispy and perfect texture. I ordered the fish tacos and they were so good! Great flavor and variety of flavor with each bite. Thought they executed it very well. I also snuck some sweet potato fries off a family members plate and I was jealous for not ordering! Can't wait to be back and I enjoy the views you are able to have from the dinner table!

Visited this place while in Minnesota and wow. I was blown away, I was at a table of 6 and seriously all of our meals were so good. The service was also great, we were seated immediately on the patio. The seating outside was perfect and right on the water Would recommend if you are looking for nicer food & bar food!!

Server was great. Attentive and friendly. Kitchen staff did not support the front of the house. Cold soup with a burnt piece of Kraft singles cheese. Soup was room temp. Steak tips were rubber tires masked with gravy. Still charged full price for 3 bites of food.

I enjoyed my drinks and food!I love going around and trying all the different pickle pizzas people offer. When I saw they had one on the menu I had to try it. An Alfredo base sauce is used which is different than any others I have tried. The pizza was delicious and I'm still talking about how tasty the crust was. After talking with my friend and hearing her review about the pizza we both equally agree delicious pizza but the Alfredo sauce could have been thicker.The environment was pretty quiet and low-key. I can't wait to check this place out in the summer.

Ate her for the first time this week and had a great time. The food and service were both great and it's good to finally see something good in this cool spot with views of North Long lake. I expected similar food to the original Dunmire location and that's what you have here. The menu is different, a little smaller with a bunch of new items but still similar. They aren't doing any specials yet, but plan to once they get things tuned up. They have interesting cocktail specials (many using local products) all in the $12-15 price range which is pretty normal for places on the water. I had a really good Paloma, my wife had the Loon Juice. Both were good, neither as sweet as they can be sometime. I had the Pork Chop with AuGratin Potatoes. The pork was moist with a good grill flavor. It would have been better with a sauce or relish on it (like the excellent bacon jam on one of the burgers.) The potatoes were more like crusty backed Cheesy Hash-browns, not what I expected but still good. I also had a way above average side salad with really good, chunky blue cheese dressing. My wife had the Elwood Burger. It was tasty and juicy. She had really good onion rings on the side. This is another good spot by the Dunmire team. I love to see another place up here that makes their own food rather than buying everything from someone like Sysco.

This was a great find in a smaller city. Taing was easy on a Wednesday. The menu is locally inspired (walleye chowder And fried filets) but also extensive enough to please most palates. I would return to try the deliciously described pork and salmon entrees. We just weren't that hungry, so had lobster shooters--lobster bisque shots with LARGE lobster hunks. No alcohol, so safe for all, but more's the pity! They have valet parking Friday & Saturday. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. Altogether a pleasant experience.
