So this review is coming strictly from a comic book collector. I just moved here and was looking for a new comic shop close by and saw the reviews for this place so I decided to check it out. I would say about 85% of the shop is for board game style items. They have a large room for people to play and for tournaments. Now for my comic book review of this place. They have a very small selection of comics with no back issues, but they do have a ton of the new books that come out weekly. Also which was a surprise is that they carry some of the ratio variants which is great. Plus they can order whatever you want if you give them some advance to order it. They also give you 10% off your books when you open a pullbox which is normal for comic shops. I definitely recommend this place to get your weekly issues

Do you want to play a game? No.. Really? Wanna? :) Dreamers wheels and deals (pun intended!) in all things games. Be it a board game, a tabletop game, or a more involved card game, Dreamers has what you're looking for and then some. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, which is no small feat, as they carry a range of stock. We were greeted on both visits by kind staff who were eager to answer questions, despite the busy atmosphere. When I say busy atmosphere, I don't mean crowded. Even on a Saturday with Pokémon in full swing, staff were attentive and we had plenty of browsing room - even with our baby! Displays are stocked categorically, with board games lining the west wall in a beautiful display. Lots of options for any game you're looking for, and staff were looking up a couple of games for customers that it seemed they may not have in Stock. Keep in mind, there are a couple more locations, so another location may have what you're looking for if this one does not. Now for the cards! What brought us in was Pokémon. When I was younger, about 10 or so years ago, I played Pokémon here on weekends. In that time, they've changed locations, and have expanded both stock and playing area. In a hallway somewhat behind the counter (but open to the public eye, with windows!) they have several tables for game play of all kinds. I recommend calling to find out what they host, but a cursory look suggests they do Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! And a few others I'm not familiar with. Cards are sold in promotional and booster packs in the common area, and sold in singles for a set price behind the counter, except for a large box of miscellaneous Magic The Gathering cards that is accessible from the other side. Without a doubt, Magic The Gathering has the most stock here, so if that's your game I'd stop in. Accessories for card players were in abundance, with deck boxes, card sleeves and other game paraphernalia available for purchase. Again, knowledgeable staff: We made a comment about the number of card protectors sold in a pack and a staff member caught the drift that we played Pokémon. Cool. Also, no need to sacrifice style for hobby: The card protectors are sold in a variety of colors, patterns and licensed artwork. If tabletop gaming of a different ilk is your thing, no need to worry. This place has always had a reputation for Warhammer, and to what degree they carry stock I'm not sure, but we could see some people playing from outside. My brother frequents this place to pick up dice and other supplies for Dungeons and Dragons, and has said it's his favorite place to go. Duly noted. I know they have a couple of groups that play games there, but I'd always recommend calling ahead to get the real scoop before you show up. Other things of note? They had comics! Not many, but a decent stock. To help satiate the masses while playing games, they also have a couple coolers with soda, juice and microwave snacks. Candy bars and other convince food were available. If you're a child, a parent, or just a kid at heart, whatever you want to call it: Playing games is fun. As a girl who grew up, had life get in the way, with a child now, I hold dear the significance of games of any kind. I remember the sheer joy Pokémon brought me as a kid, and if you have a game from your past you want to try again, a pop into Dreamers will get you back into whatever it was you enjoyed. Happy playing!

This store has something for everyone. And by "everyone," I mean every-on-the-social-fringe-person-aged-11-to-55-D&D-Magic: the Gathering-Mana-Tapped-Board-Game-comic-book-aficionado. It is a small store, which means that the inventory is rather limited in terms of selection. Yes, there is something for everyone. Not necessarily everything for everyone. But if you were looking to start up a game of Warcraft or Magic, to play a new board game or start a RPG beginners set with friends, you can get the basics here. Staff are friendly, and probably knowledgeable of the material that they have experience with. From my experience, this is in Magic or the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game. Not so much in table top RPGs.When I arrived, I saw that there were a good number of tables that had players actually playing the games that they sold. And it was crowded! If anyone was afraid of the old fashioned gaming store fading from our capitalist marketplace, this store will have you thinking the industry is going strong.

Great selection of Magic the gathering. Lots of accessories as well. Prices are fair. Only reason for 4 out of 5 stars, is it can get crowded during events and due to clientele and it being a small space, it can get a little ripe smelling.

I've been going to dreamers on and off for 15 years. I just wish I could see Jason on Friday again and see how late he'd keep the store open to let people draft.

Recently called with a common question, and was rudely told I could not be helped. I asked where I might be able to find this information, and the woman responded with, "I guess you'll have to look it up online like everyone else." When I told her I had, and it directed me to call her, she said, "No ya didn't," and hung up on me. This was just for a general question over the phone. So, if this gives you any inkling as to how you'll be handled in the future, I'd steer clear.

They have a great selection of magic cards, they'll buy your cards at a (usually) reasonable price and their prices are comparable to buying online when you factor in shipping costs. However, the conduct of the staff is terrible. I have never felt more unwelcome in a business in my entire life. Most times that I have been there I am ignored by the staff as whoever is manning the store leafs through piles of cards or chats with their friends. I try to shop there when I can to support a local business, but I definitely feel as though I should be treated better as I give them hundreds of dollars of my money for their products. Unless you need something right away, I highly suggest acquiring your card, comic and tabletop game related products online.
