Doxy's Donuts

We stop at Cabelas a few times a year and always walk by this mini donut truck but have never tried any. Until today. And OMG I'm mad we have passed by this! You are missing out if you have never tried these. They are SO light and fluffy. I tasted more apple cinnamon which upon reading I believe they are. We all loved them. Hot, fresh SO light. We will never walk by this and pass it up LOL

We loved these donuts! They were super fresh, hot and so yummy. Tasted like it might have a hint of pumpkin, who knows. We can't get enough of them.

We we're driving up to Buffalo to see family, when I happened to be on Yelp and this Food truck suggestion popped up. Good thing Emily and I happen to also be donut OBSESSED! But that's can be a good thing and a bad thing since we have a very particular taste in donuts. This food truck was in the front of Cabela's in Rogers MN, so we scooted on in got ourself a $5 bag of mini donuts. They also had a bucket size for $15, but knowing we would eat all of it in one sitting we refrained from getting the bucket o' donuts. The person who helped us seemed a bit unhappy, but who knows, ya feel?Once we got ahold of the minis we had to try one, AFTER I took pictures of course. The donuts are a great consistency and tons of sugar, but they are totally different from the mini donuts at the State Fair. So if you are accustomed to the man State Fair mini donuts you may feel a bit off trying these. But I certainly think they did the trick for a belated national donut day!

We traveled all the way to Rogers just to try Doxy's Donuts. Apple cider donuts s big in New England so we were willing to take the trek for nostalgias sake and we weren't disappointed. They are located in the parking lot of Cabela's in Rogers. Seeing a line of 20 people deep when arriving only made me more confident about our choice to travel for donuts. Looks like they've started making mini donuts to make the Minnesotans jump for joy! The portions are very generous and the donuts are exactly how they're supposed to be: crispy on the outside, moist and... donut-y? (Turns out I don't know how to describe what we all know was donut texture) and covered in cinnamon and sugar. They are not greasy, which can be hard to achieve.If you've never tried an Apple cider donut, don't be afraid..... be super duper excited you get the joy of trying them for the first time; it will be love at first bite!

Yummy. They aren't exactly like fair mini doughnuts. I think they have apple cider in them? My favorite doughnut is at Apple Jack orchard so that's probably why I think these are delicious. It was pretty rainy so there wasn't a line at the food truck at Cabella's. The lady working was extremely helpful and we were back on our way. It's a food truck at Cabella's that only sells yummy mini doughnuts. What else is there to say?

Incredible. Best donut I've ever had. Honestly if I were to have a last meal it would be 4000 of these little guys. Like the previous poster said, it's like biting Into a heavenly cloud. If I win the powerball, I'm buying the recipe.

Donuts seem to be retried and completely soaked with oil. No cake consistency left- crunchy oil rings1 absolutely skippable based on that alone, but couple this with slow service and a card reader that does not function forcing a scramble for cash while waiting in line- $15 for a bucket of "I'm too lazy to make a fresh batch, so I'll just dunk these old ones into the fryer again and coat them again with sugar" -junk. Skip.

We love these donuts! Our boys love to see the fish and animal display at Cabela's and then we grab a bucket of donuts on the way home. We have reheated the donuts on the second day and they still taste great. If you get the bucket of donuts you can ask for a lid.

Best darn donut in the world. Like eating a cinnamon sugar cloud. Get them!!! I would travel across the world for these little beauty's.
