Excellent! Our first stop here. Will definitely be back. Menu includes the usual Mexican fare, as well as some others. I had the pollo a la parilla- amazing flavor, generous portion size. Hubs had the shrimp something or other . The chips were so good- sturdy enough to scoop the salsa and queso, but crispy too.Excellent service, especially considering that we had a late dinner. You know people like working here when you can hear the kitchen staff singing in back! Casual ambiance- tv's with football on, but still nicer than a lot of other places. Highly recommend!

Was down in the area and stopped in for dinner and found a new favorite! I had the enchiladas and my husband had burritos and a taco. Everything was so delicious! Service was friendly, quick and attentive. We will definitely be making the 30 minute trip back down to enjoy this authentic gem!

We were going thru Owatonna and found this gem. We ordered guac and queso (a must have) and ate it all, it was so good! Best guac we have ever had! You can't beat $1.99 margaritas, WHAT?!? The main meals were perfect, steak fajitas were nice and tender with lots of peppers and onions, sooo good! Pork, beef tacos and chicken enchilada had a lot of meat in them. Our server was very attentive and had a great sense of humor! We will definitely go back!

Driving home from MN and came across this place. It's pretty standard fare but salsa was excellent and server (owner?) was super kind and accommodating. Dining partner had pork and said it was very good. If we lived closer it'd be a regular for us.

Was on out way to Ames for a college visit and we stopped here for dinner as the spouse was craving Mexican. We were seated promptly - vibe is sports bar meets Mexican. It was busy, you can tell it is a popular local choice. The chips and salsa were fantastic, so good. Those who were of age had one $1.99 margarita, and it was quite good for the price. If I had not been driving I would have had another. Servers were few and hustling. We placed our orders. The food took FOREVER to come (20+ minutes) and only once did someone stop by to say they knew it was taking a long time, it would be out soon. When it did arrive, my Mario's Burrito was okay, but seemed to have two different kinds of meat in it when I think it was supposed to just have chicken. The other two both got Loco Burritos and neither ate much of them. Overall it was fine, but we're headed down to Des Moines next weekend and will find someplace else to stop this time.

Good food, good service. Bunch of tvs with sports on. Cheese dip was good. Enchiladas were good. Margaritas were a little pricey.

Went here 3/7 at 12:30pm Got waiter right away(forgot his name) Had Water No Ice 2 lemon. Chips are amazing he brought.. Salsa alone is a 5Alot of Heat to it.. blended well w everything. compared to (Plaza that taste like tomato sauce) our dishes were very Tasty.. Very pleasant waiter Didnt suggestive sell any deserts or Alcohol becerages. Yes i will come again.

This is a really cute Mexican restaurant in the newer shopping area of Owatonna. Their salsa is some of the best I've had (and it's free!), even compared to the metro spots.I ordered the tequila lime chicken. I was a little bummed that the menu shows they offer black beans, but they don't, so no beans for me. The Mr had chipotle beef enchiladas. I think overall, his dinner was better. I ended up stealing his salad, because mine was intended to be eaten as tacos, but they didn't offer any "crunch". It would have just been chicken on tortillas if not for stealing his food. His dinner had a delicious enchilada sauce and some dang good shredded beef inside, with rice and some cold veggies. I think I will order that next time.Overall, really good Mexican, especially for this more rural area. The service was attentive and we had refills coming whenever we needed them. A solid option in Owatonna!

Great food! Awesome prices and portion sizes. Lots of healthy options available and their seafood is cooked and seasoned perfectly. Very friendly staff. The ambiance is low-key which I love. Margarita was nicely balanced - appreciate that they seemed to make it traditionally vs. using an overly sweet marg mix. Will be a staple now for my future stays in Owatonna!
