This place is simply unique. Such a cool vibe.The hot dog/sausage combos are fantastic and the guy that works the counter loves to explain his craft and share the restaurant story. You can tell he loves what he does and it makes the customer service he provides shine!I really enjoyed my spicy andouille sausage creation called the Shih Tzu. He said it was the spiciest combo (hello jalapeños)! While I'm hard pressed to give five stars to most places, especially "simpler" eats like hot dogs or burgers - the service I received deserved nothing less. Keep it up Dog Park!

They claim to have the best hotdogs in Minnesota and with my extensive research, I think they might be right! Really nice guy at the front counter super welcoming. Got myself a passionfruit tea which was absolutely amazing super good passionfruit flavor. The options range from your standard to absolutely wild and I love that. The creativity is really there and with the flavors to match. The hotdog quality was amazing and the sauces All SUPER good as well. If I had any critique, it would to be maybe playing around with toasting the bun. I feel like it got a little bit soggy, but it was still delicious and wouldn't deter me from trying more hotdogs. The best wurst!!! Dog park continues to please with creative sausage (yes, hot dogs too) and toppings combinations, bar none. Today I enjoyed the chorizo topped with chili and cheese, my basic favorite. Dog park now offers slaw as a side, which was perfect. Next time you need some fast casual food, made with soul, in a one of a kind setting filled with memorabilia, give this dog spot props, and check it out.

Having driven by Dog Park Gourmet Hot Dogs in Chanhassen for two years, I was intrigued. Just hot dogs? How does that work? So we stopped in for what turned to be a pleasant lunch.Entering "Dog Park" in Yelp's search tool is hard to find on Yelp, even after playing with the interactive map. I hope Yelp will expand the search options to include "Dog Park," as this boutique cafe at 7828 Market Blvd. in Chanhassen turns out to be a one-of-a-kind eatery that offers an interesting array of hot dogs and other sausages with all the "fixings." Each item has a canine-appropriate name, such as "Bull Dog," "Chew Toy," and "Dog Catcher". Also on the menu are Italian beef sandwiches, a variety slushies, bubble tea and other tea varieties, lemonade, and juices.They're delicious, reasonably priced, and worth a try. The owner is a pleasant fellow who explained their offerings and happily agreed to a few customizations. Nice customer service.The only complaint I have is the lighting, which casts a purple-blue hue to everything, including the food. Odd for a food establishment, and not very appetizing. I've corrected the color balance on the attached images as best I could.As for this chow hound (sorry, I couldn't resist), I'll definitely be back

Was on my way to lunch at a large chain located next door to this place. I saw a sign for bubble tea, and couldn't resist. This has to be one of the best hot dogs I've ever had. The toppings are all so carefully thought out, I had the dog house, and it's such a perfect blend of sweet, and spicy. The decor is also super stylish.I highly recommend this place.

Wife and I were in the area on a bike ride and really only chose this place because it has outdoor seating and we could see our bikes to be sure no one stole them. Plus, we both love hot dogs.I thought I could simply order a Chicago dog without looking at the menu, but I was wrong. They have their own unique combos. I was also wrong when I assumed the Dog Catcher listed chili as an ingredient would be good old American chili ... they mean hot pepper chili's. The dog was lukewarm and ingredients messy. Taste was sweet with a mild spice and after burn. Actually a great lasting after burn. I love spicy food.Wife got the Bull Dog for the simple reason it listed mushrooms. She loved hers and said it was spicy, even though nothing indicated it would be.My wife, born and raised in Hawaii and consuming shaved ice her entire life, of course also ordered a shaved ice. She was very critical of it not being authentic Hawaiian shaved ice, but more of an American snow cone. See the photo - it is clearly a snow cone. She said whatever she ordered was wrong and that it had coconut flavor in it, which she hates. She threw it away. Zero stars.Would I eat here again? Definitely, to try another dog. I would not take someone who cannot handle spices. My wife commented we would never take one of our daughters here because of that. The table by us with three ladies commented they were surprised their dogs were all so spicy. They might consider a spice/heat ranking by each hotdog.A one star downgrade is for the low hotdog temperature and bad shaved ice. Another one star downgrade because the dude (cook/owner?) was not wearing his mask correctly, only covering his mouth, not his nose. Was he exhaling all over our food when he cooked and delivered it to us? If he can't get that right, what other safety protocols is he getting wrong? I almost did not eat my hot dog because of that.It was odd to watch the same dude come out later and stand behind the hotdog cart while using an iPad. A customer walked up and asked if she could order there. He replied something like, "No, I am just playing on my iPad." I bring this up because we actually thought we could order outside when we arrived, but realized one of us had to go in... they should consider this alternative. The menu is pretty simple.

Owner is super friendly but works hard to upsell you. Polish sausage was just average though the owner had gone on and on about how it's so different than what you buy at Cub, etc. The toppings (had the Dog Pound) were also just ok. I was the only one in there at noon on a weekday and had to wait almost 15 minutes for my order and when it came, it was lukewarm. It's a big Polish, worth the money but absolutely nothing special, even with the "gourmet toppings". He told me how their sauerkraut is so good, and it's served hot over the dog but it comes from a can, which was sitting out in plain view. The toppings make the bun mushy so it ended up being a fork 'n knife dog which I didn't really want. I really just wanted a regular hot dog with cool toppings and not a Polish. Won't bother going back.

Was craving a hot dog and this totally delivered! It was a great for the price and size. I went a bit more 'plain' but plan to go again and try different styles.
