I almost don't want to share how charming this romantic little restaurant is simply because I want to keep it a secret for me and my friends and family!Alas, I must share that service is spectacular! Seated right away and greeted quickly by Kaylee. She gave us her suggestions and shared the most popular dishes on the menu. It's located not too far from the MSP airport, but not too far from the heart of downtown St. Paul either. We've been here once before during a previous trip, but has now won us over as one of our favorites when visiting the cities! Thanks to Kaylee and the entire team for the delicious early dinner before we fly back to Atlanta, Georgia! We enjoyed it all! Stromboli for our appetizer, a Chopped Italian Salad, Spaghetti & Meatballs for our entrees, followed by the most delectable Tiramisu!

Dinner consisted of a glass of Pinot noir, chopped salad, bread and mostaccioli and meatballs.Meal was just ok. The marinara had a strange chemical taste to it. I wasn't able to finish my plate and didn't take a box. Meatballs were tough, likely over mixed. Flavor just ok. Pasta was cooked to a Perfect Al dente so I'll give them that.Chopped salad was enjoyable, portion size was good for the price and very flavorful.Bread is served with garlic butter. 3 slices for a table of 2.Parking is horrendous. Restaurant was fully booked for a Saturday night walk-in, so we had to grab a seat at the bar. Hostesses not friendly. No welcome coming in or thank you going out. Chad the bartender was busy, friendly enough but not intrusive.Overall experience was just ok, but $100 for dinner for two should be a little better than ok/average. Disappointed tonight after receiving a recommendation to eat here. On to the next...

No complaints! All around a good experience. Food and service were good and the drink service is excellent! We ordered a number of dishes and all three were good. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan alla Vodka which was the special that evening and it was decent. A bit of a spicy kick that I wasn't expecting but the portion was good and the chicken was cooked nicely. The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was good. Decent portion and the Alfredo sauce was okay but was missing something. The best dish that we ordered was the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo. Same sauce as the chicken but the Blackened Shrimp adds extra flavor that sets this dish apart. For dessert we ordered the Spumoni. A very good bowl of ice cream with all of the flavors you expect from Spumoni. I have to mention that I really appreciate the dining room having a dedicated bar for drink service. Never a wait and the drinks are done very well. This restaurant can get busy. It does have a parking lot but don't be surprised if you have to park on a nearby street.

These just might be the best wings in the Twin Cities! My goodness these were The garlic bread should be illegal. I ordered the food online. The food was hot when I got there for pickup.

I love this place. The bolognese is fantastic and the tortelloni is one of my favorites anywhere. Entrees come with this gorgeous sour dough, not pictured. It's a beautiful vintage restaurant on West 7th street surrounded a lot of great places to hang out after dinner, close to downtown. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because although I had a reservation, they seated at the booth closest to the doorway. I'm a middle aged woman and this happens to me frequently, I get the worst table in the place. Stop it. If it happens again I'll top remove another star

Came at peak time on a Wednesday to check it out - good news there's a parking lot (good for them it was packed!), and some street parking.First of, service was great! The server was super attentive and charismatic.I had the oldest old fashioned to drink which was chefs kiss. For dinner we started with the burrata caprise which was amazing, the included bread as well. For the entree I had the tortelloni bolognese which was absolutely packed with flavor. The sauce was perfect and the sausage had a slight spice that helped bring the dish together. My friend had the Fettuccine Alla Pesto with chicken that was also really good. Creamy, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. This absolutely has been my favorite Italian night out in the cities!

Think a step above Olive Garden but on par with Buca di Beppo. I wasn't blown away, but the food we ate was good. Our server was very attentive, and the food came out fast - but almost to a fault. We sat down and ordered our drinks and calamari to start. With the food coming out so fast, we felt a little rushed. The complimentary bread and butter was soooo delicious and they gave us more upon request. The parking lot was completely full when we arrived for our 5:30pm reservation on a Monday night so we had to find street parking.

This place is just flat out cool. Before you swing by - make sure to check out the history behind the family and some of the old St. Paul gangster stories/ties.Generally MN isn't known for Italian food - but if there was one place I think of when it comes to a classic Italian vibe/menu it is DeGidios (or the place down the street - but it just doesn't have the same feel). My group all thought their orders were good. My dish - the Rigatoni with Porchetta meatballs was very tasty. The noodles were al dente and the meatballs had great flavor. As everyone who reads my reviews knows - I really love my spice - so sadly the "spicy" arrabbiata sauce really didn't pack much heat. If your family is Italian or likes Italian food - I'd call this a can't miss.

The taleggio gnocchi was heavenly. Melt in your mouth creamy. I never review places but this was too good not to share. They were very busy on Friday night but we were served quickly and attentively. It is a nice and not too loud setting with warm lighting and good ambiance.
