We stopped in here after a Twins game. It was an easy atmosphere with enough noise to talk comfortably. We ordered the samosas, garlic naan, crispy chili chicken and biryani. It all came out fast and steaming hot. This is a great place to stop in when you're out and about in Minneapolis!

We have been on the hunt for authentic, affordable Indian Cuisine. After multiple failed attempts, we stumbled on Dancing Ganesha, and wow, I'm so glad we did! We walked in and were greeted with a smile- such a warm, welcoming environment. We ordered malai kofta, saag paneer, chicken makhani, and garlic naan. Yum all the way around. We were pleasantly surprised with everything - it was delicious! We will absolutely be back to try different items on the menu!

I love Indian food and a colleague suggested this restaurant. To be honest I driven past it a few times but never thought to go in. It's tucked away quaintly right downtown Minneapolis It's just steps away from Hennepin avenue yet felt like a quiet intimate but also family style atmosphere. The drinks were unique and amazing The mango martini was unlike anything I'd ever had before and definitely topped my list. The Bollywood rum drink was also met with rave reviews. The lamb samosas were full and meaty and the pastry was baked to perfection. The Tikka masala and the Saag with chicken We're honestly mind-blowing. As someone that has traveled oversees and had authentic Indian food for local place here at home this was extremely authentic from the smells to the texture to the spices and the flavor. I would highly recommend. Last but not least the server who greeted us, sadas and served us was extremely attentive, he was kind, patient and answered questions and even made several suggestions. It had a very homey atmosphere and we will definitely be back and highly recommend!!!

I will definitely come here again. It had been a long time since I'd been to one of their locations, but my friend and I were seeing a show at the Orpheum and an Indian place just a few blocks away (and with metered spaces that are cheaper and more plentiful than I was expecting), this was perfect for us. They have a large menu with all the standards you'd expect, and a particularly generous selection of vegetarian entrees. That was a requirement for my friend, who got Baignan Bharta Eggplant. She absolutely loved it. I got chicken vindaloo, which was good. Vindaloo is usually best with beef or lamb, but I was following a diet rule. I asked for 3/5 spice level and it was near the high end of what I tolerate, so expect them to give you spicy when you want it. We also got Cheese Pakora, which came with two very nice sauces. The best thing was the service. They were really nice; very attentive and fast. My favorite is that we mentioned when she seated us that we wanted to make sure to make it to the theater on time, and it seemed like that message got around because they were really quick with us and made sure the check was on the table early. I like the idea of coming here before seeing a show at one of those theaters on Hennepin, so I'll definitely do that again.

My go-to for Indian takeout. Consistently good at all the classics. A few of my favorites include their Josh, vindaloo, and their makhani. Love their samosas and biryanis too

The best thing I can say is I'll definitely go back to Dancing Ganesha. Both my meal and my companions were done to perfection with great service and information about special requirements.

Great ambience. Easy parking. Service is really great. Food is authentic and delicious. Our table started with drinks. We tried Sex in Bollywood beach: yumPomegranate martini: double yumMango mojito: good Dinner was excellent. The naan comes at the end of the meal so next time I would ask for it at the beginning of the meal.

Amazing food, the location and atmosphere are very enjoyable! The service is nothing to write home about, but since it isn't bad service I won't give it a ding. Pricey, but in my opinion still worth it. I've been at least 4 times, and I'm certain I'll be back once my wallet recovers

Came here while visiting Minneapolis. Our decision was based on the amazing smell of their food every time we walked past the restaurant. My wife and I ordered the mattar paneer and the vegetable korma with garlic naan. We both thought the mattar paneer was just okay, it needed a little something else. The vegetable korma, however, was amazing. I have had many hit or miss kormas over the years and this was one of the best ones I've had. The garlic naan tasted good but was a little thin and crispy, we both wished it was thicker and softer with some crispiness. Both curries were ordered medium and were an appropriate level of spicy, but we both could have handled more so don't be afraid to order your preferred spice level.Service was fairly quick and the prices were standard for this type of restaurant ($15-18/entree). If you're in the downtown area and looking for somewhere to eat, this place is a great option.

Goa-Indian influenced cuisine. Very tasty food, from mild spiced cashew-raisin chicken to medium spiced lamb dishes. Homemade mango and pistachios ice creams.
