What's not to love at this awesome place! Pleasing a crowd for so many!-It's coffee bar & brewery all wrapped in one!(stop by the right time and hang out long enough and you can have both!)-It's super dog friendly! There is always lots of sweet pups in here!-The food menu is small, but still pleasing to me! Hello hand pies and homemade pop tarts! (no steal the old pastry served here!!)-Kid, friendly too! (They have pinball machines!)-ample and variety of seating! They have cultures and coffee tables as well as regular tables and seats. And even seating along the bar.-Free street and parking lot parking! (I love, not having to worry about parking when I head into the cities.)-Community orientated. They have a tag board with a variety of things (I'm drawing a blank as to if it's poetry nights or game nights or amateur music nights, but I recall seeing that they had some fun things listed.)I've been here twice. The first time I met with my adult daughter- I grabbed coffee and she grabbed both coffee and a flight of beer. The 2nd time, I brought my eight-year-old here to have coffee and sit and do art together. Both experiences were relaxing and fun to see all the pups! And those hand pies... They were big become a staple snack to grab when coming here in the future!I love their creative coffee of the month selection. And being selective gal of good quality coffee that I am, I definitely give their coffee a five star! The staff has been friendly and patient with me both times trying to narrow down my decision on what to order. (so many yummy choices!)And of course it has the cozy, friendly northeast Minneapolis vibe! It's quickly going to become my favorite coffee shop!

Cool little coffee shop in an abandoned mall, Seven Points, formerly known as Calhoun Square. It's an abandoned mall except for the gym, LA Fitness which I go to. I always noticed this other tenant, Curioso Coffee bar....but I never got around to try it.. 'till today! This morning, I had time before a fitness class , so I stopped by. The coffee and pastry was exceptional! Plus furry friends are welcome here, too! See Photo. I think I'll be a regular here as long as I go to the gym in this mall.

Cute coffee shop, nice staff, solid drinks, good bagels. Located in the seven points mall. I had a blueberry bagel with cream cheese, which was nicely toasted and exactly what I wanted after a hard workout. The shaken not stirred with ube flavor was also delish. Not too sweet, and strong enough to keep me up and running throughout the day. The man working was great at making recommendations if you're not sure what to order!

Hard to find parking around the area but they do have a coffee sign out front so it made it easy to find. They roast their beans in house. And you can tell, the beans are very creamy almost chocolatey not sour and bitter Aaron one of the owners was here when I was ordering, he helped me out and was very kind to me. And made small talk that made my day. It has an open area that goes into a mall and you can walk around. Overall would recommend to everyone! I will be coming back when I'm in the area.

This place is awesome! It's got a retro vibe with all the pinball machines, many lounge areas to chill with friends, great backyard outdoor seating and it's definitely got the ambience and atmosphere to feel cozy, hip, and creative. The coffee was excellent! I loved the shaken not stirred cold brew latte and even bought a growler of their cold brew. I came back the same week and got an americano and my goodness it slaps again. Check this place out!! It's so unique and harbors community so well in it.

This is a cute little artisan coffee shop to pop into whenever you're walking around Uptown. It's pretty pricey, but everything is carefully crafted and sourced so you absolutely get what you pay for! Also, I love that their default is oat milk - my favorite!I ordered a Hot & Dirty Chai and it was creamy and delicious. They also serve Fruit & Grain which gives them major points in my book!

I was excited to try Curioso after seeing so many amazing reviews. We must've come on an off day because we didn't have a great experience. We came to the Uptown location and the barista kind of rubbed us the wrong way from the start. She seemed pretty scatter-brained and honestly a little over-caffeinated (jittery, rapid speech, distractible, losing train of thought mid sentence)...it was awkward even attempting to have a regular conversation with her. She was clearly flustered because she said they ran out of certain coffee beans and were not able to make any drinks with espresso. This was a little surprising since it was a Saturday afternoon, probably one of their busier days. She also told us we could only order iced drinks as she was unable to make any hot drinks at the moment. She could've left it at that, but instead went into a story about how the owners are out of town and left her without much support to keep things running smoothly. My friend and I attempted to order our drinks but the barista kept over-complicating the orders; she had conversations for at least 5 mins with each of us about exactly how we wanted the drink to be made. For example, I just ordered an iced matcha latte. She then started telling me about how their matcha drinks are more bitter than most places and asked if I wanted an adjustment to make it sweeter. I said sure, then she asked me about specific ways to adjust it. I'm not picky--I just wanted a matcha drink. After finally getting our orders, she said the coffee beans were delivered and now we could order espresso drinks. We didn't even bother to adjust our order after how long it took to finally get on the same page. The whole encounter was just very odd and rubbed us the wrong way. Luckily, the drinks themselves were quite good and satisfied our cravings. I would've given 2 stars based on the overall experience but am choosing a 3 since the coffee actually was solid. I wish we had better service and could have ordered anything from the menu instead of being so limited, but the main issue was definitely the barista we had.

I have nothing but good things to say about Curioso. I love that their default is oat milk and that the price you see is the price you get. It's flat pricing to include tax. I also appreciate that they give every opportunity to make their coffee drinks affordable and accessible. Everything they do is for sustainability, so if you bring in your own cup OR drink it "for here" you get $1 off your drink! They also offer a happy hour Saturday & Sunday mornings for $2 off your drinks as well. DRINKS: The ginger snap latte was absolutely delicious. They make all of the syrups in house and are so flavorful. SERVICE: Everyone who works here is so kind and they really do it for the love and passion of the community. Good people all around. They source everything local as well or make it themselves. ATMOSPHERE: It's so nice and bright and in a very open space. The "lounge" is a great place to work remotely or study. Please check this place out!

I've never had such friendly baristas at a coffee shop! They were great. It was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon with a live music band playing inside. There's a small seating area to the side with lots of light so it would be the perfect place to meet someone at. Im not sure if the chai is made in house but it was delicious and they use oat milk as the default! The food selection was limited in the fridge case. There's only a couple of street parking spots a block off but it's on a nice block to walk.
