Love this place! Excellent tea selection and excellent vegan food options. Highly recommend the vegan ham sandwich on sourdough bread, grilled. The service is fantastic and the staff are super-helpful, always willing to take the time to explain what options are available. Great family atmosphere. If you're looking for a vegan option in town, this is the place to stop.

My boyfriend and I had afternoon tea here a couple weeks ago, and I can't recommend it enough. Firstly, the owner was so accommodating; they usually require a week's notice for an afternoon tea reservation, but they were kind enough to set it up with a day's notice (my boyfriend's school schedule meant we had less time to plan). We started with strawberry iced tea with hibiscus ice cubes, which was so refreshing. We ordered a pot of the jade oolong, and it was delicious, although the whole menu is huge and the variety is fantastic. The food was AMAZING; it's all vegan, but even us meat-eaters were satisfied! We started with warm cherry fig scones (shaped like teapots!), then had loaded potato salad, butterbean soup, and various tea sandwiches (the vegan "pastrami" from The Herbivorous Butcher was so good!). The dessert tray was the high point, though: dark chocolate orange chia pudding with coconut whipped cream, their famous almond tea cookies, and these tropical fruit pastries that I can't remember the name of. My boyfriend is not normally a fan of sweets and he still ate most of his half, which is saying something! The shop itself is adorable; the decor is eclectic and cozy, and there's a little shop in the back where you can buy bags of their tea as well as other cute products. I definitely want to go back again to try their other teas and just sit and read. Seriously, this is one of my favorite places in the area!

We stopped in before a hike at Minneopa State Park and I'm so glad we did! I love everything about this place! Vegan and gluten free options, cute space and large patio, excellent teas, and very friendly staff. If I lived closer, I'd visit frequently!

I had been told of this place long before I set foot in the shop. And, to be honest, it was everything I'd hoped it would be. Situated in a charming side avenue off one of the main streets in Mankato, the interior feels surprisingly roomy for how small it is, helped in large part by smart furniture placement and high ceilings. The owner is smart and pleasant, ready to help you find a good tea to drink in store or take home with you. What I particularly like about the shop, besides the fun name, is that it - much like my favorite pubs - there are options to expose you to a variety of drinks fairly cheaply. There are tea happy hours, where you can get unending pots of tea for a low price or, more attractive to me, you can have options to try smaller samples of many different kinds. Another great thing is that the tea is sold in multiple sizes, so you can get what fits your needs best. 1oz, 2oz and 4oz bags were the most common, but you can also bring in your own canister and buy by bulk weight. And there are different kinds! One of the things I really like about the selection in this place is a) how they categorize their inventory so as to not overwhelm you and b) the mixture of familiar (Earl Grey! English Breakfast!) and more unique/creative blends that are super fun to explore. A lovely place to visit with a few friends. So what did I end up getting? Here is what my restraint netted me:Almond OolongMatchaPu-erh Chorange (chocolate orange, obv)Blood OrangePu-erh HazelberryRoasted ChestnutLady Londonderry (wasn't this a Beatles song?)White Chocolate Puer

Rain delay for softball found us this quaint tea cafe. VEGAN readily available. Great selection of teas available hot or cold. I had a fabulous curried jackfruit on marble rye. The staff were very knowledgable about the teas. Would definately return if in the area again.

This is by far the best place in Mankato to warm up, satisfy your aesthetic ambience desires, and refine your tea palate. Better than anywhere else. Really inexpensive. Great tea.

Both ladies serving were amazing, the owner was knowledgeable in everything and offered samples without hesitation. The place is very calming and quiet, with a hodge-podgey ambiance to it that is comforting nonetheless. I wish more places like this existed.

I stopped by today to get some loose tea. The staff was very friendly and let me smell several teas through my mask, keeping with covid guidelines. I went inside but they also have a drive through option for loose teas and drinks made to order. There's a nice selection of teas and cups, pots, etc. I paid $5 for a nice bag of strawberry green tea that should last me a week or two. I drink a lot of tea. This is also the only genuine tea shop I have found in the Mankato area. Overall, a great first experience in all aspects and I'm excited to try all their different selections.
