Most consistent CUB I know. They're always stocked. This location has a big portion of the store dedicated to daily/special event items (cards, diapers, grill items) This CUB shows a lot of pride in the MN sports teams, you feel the team spirit for sure. Customer service isn't great. They aren't going to ask if you need help, but they will answer your question. This location has so much potential. With the city of Burnsville growing, this CUB could be the go-to store in the area, right now its last resort.

Today i had more time to really explore this store thoroughly. Wow wow WOW‼ The selection is HUGE... unheard of today in ALL other stores in the Twin Cities. I love grocery stores because i adore good food, i loved caring and feeding my family truly delicious and healthy top quality meals. LOVED watching them WOLF down their meals as we all sat around the table together for all meals. This store HAS to be my most favorite including my passion for the magnificently organized / designed People's Food Coop in ROCHESTER ( great store‼). It has to be at least 3000 sq ft, maybe more. I learned that it was the Holiday Superstore until 1998 when Cub bought it. I also learned Cub management has decided to level it and the entire parking lot this coming Spring and will build a smaller more normal store closer to the South West Corner of the GIANT lot. Cub only rents the property. The new lot will have additional strip mall stores and this store shall be closed for awhile....SO... HURRY in to EXPERIENCE the magnificence of the rare rare rare selections offered in ALL categories. ( hunt for the unique golden products you never realized existed‼) AND ... their truly magnificent gorgeous fresh vegetable and fruit selection ( see photos-- unbelievably beautiful). As a former VP of food products mktg, i grew to love examining new innovative products formulations packaging ingredients. The VARIETY offered here is truly a THRILLING experience‼‼‼And the sales esp this week -- 2 weeks before xmas-- spectacular ( 3 Hagen Daz for $10?!!!). Hurry in before the bulldozers this spring 2018‼‼‼

This Cub is so hit or miss. Some days, my visit goes fine. Other times, I'm disappointed. This is the closest grocery store to my home. If I head into savage, there's a Hyvee which is gorgeous and amazing. If I head the other way down 42, there's a Target with groceries and even further down is a Lund's. I have a ton of options and sometimes avoid this location. Often times (usually in the frozen food/dairy section) something will drip on me from the ceiling. I've taken home a moldy baguette, brought it back to show customer service and went to find a new loaf only to find they were all moldy. Staff (when I interact with them, which isn't often because I know where everything is and usually try to do self-check out) are typically friendly and helpful. The parking lot has had pot holes for over a year. I thought they might fix them over the summer but no luck.If anyone from Cub is reading these, please prioritize this location for a remodel. It needs a face lift immediately.

It's your average grocery store. There's not really anything that feels particularly awesome. The staff is relatively friendly and it's clean but perhaps a bit dingy. This Cub definitely lacks a lot of the new flashy features you'll find at newer grocery stores but they've been slowly updating things here and there like new lighting and I did see them install new refrigerated units a few months ago. I would say they have a decent selection, you'll be able to find all your staples and a few things you might not expect. However often when I'm looking for something specific I'll go somewhere else that I know it will be easier to find. Prices aren't amazing but they do have deals coming and going and sometimes they are pretty great. I never feel like I'm getting the best deal but they seem at least competitive for the most part. I do most of my shopping here, but I don't feel like I could do all of it here. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to come here if I lived elsewhere.

Friends moved to this area a year or two ago so I've stopped in on a couple of occasions to pick up drinks and other random supplies. On my most recent visit I wanted to build a bouquet for said friends and was only able to select from pre-made arrangements. The pre-made bouquets were full and there were some good deals like 2 for $10 selections. The beer and liquor section is really quite small for such a large store. There's a walk-in fridge area with cases of domestics, but craft selections are relegated to a few shelves. You can mix and match a six pack for $9.99, but you've got maybe 15 or so to choose from. I do come from the land of beer, so I realize I'm spoiled by the selection in my local grocery stores, but here I'm usually stuck buying something I'm not all that excited for because it's the best of a few choices. Service in the liquor department has always been friendly - gotta love that Midwest charm! I wish I had the receipt to shout out the cashier we last worked with, he went above and beyond.

Stopped in about 10pm to use ATM. Did not wslk through the store at all. As I exit the store, I'm in the vestibule between the 2 sets of doors, I'm stopped and asked whats in my hands. I reentered the store. I'm an honest person and didnt think twice about showing him. It was my personal property from my puse. He said he thought he saw me put something in my purse but i actually was removing an item from my purse. He admitted he never saw me pick up anything, could name a brand or describe the item. He just saw "something." They've had people stealing. I was told if i hadn't shown him, he would've requested I empty my purse. EXCUSE ME! I asked he check camera, call his Loss Prevention, and call police. He refused. I shop this location a few times a week. After tonight, I will not spend another penny in Cub or Supervalu. They should be ashamed with this management. Thank you Assistant Store Director Jordan, for ruining my night and terrible customer service. I'll be in touch #petty
