I had forgotten how much of a dream store this was. I've gotten out of the habit of scrapbooking but nearly got back into wanting to make cards, wanting to play with scrapbook paper, wanting to be creative. I walk down the scrapbooking aisles in awe, so happy, so delighted. So many choices that required me to have so much control as to not buy hundreds of dollars worth of stuff. Back in the day when there if it were a ton of scrapbooking stores, one didn't have to drive an hour away to find this cool of a store, but now, make the drive!

This place has everything you could possibly need to do any craft or art project plus extras and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and well organized. Great place!

I'm not sure what this place doesn't have. It feels like a warehouse of anything you could ever want for crafts. They even have kitchen and home decor, some clothing. There's a discount store in the same lot that's all clearence. Heaven!

So I don't know if I'm writing the review for myself or for my mother, but I know that this place makes me feel many feelings. At times I love it in here, because I know my mother must be in town. It makes me feel like a kid going up and down the aisles and finding all of the cool toys and gadgets that you didn't know existed, but now know you need. It makes me bored, while my mother is in craft heaven. This store simply has everything and nothing at the same time. There is also a little café inside, next to the restroom which is nice when you are like me, and just go to hang out with your mother, but get bored at looking at die cuts, stamps, and rows and rows of paper. There are good deals, and random good finds. I just bought my nephew a small rubber dinosaur that roars when you squeeze it. There are many educational toys for kids of the younger age. Wooden Puzzles, Toy Cars, Stuffed Animals, Kitchen play sets, and many rubber animal toys as well. There is a fabric section, a holiday section, fake flower section, painting section, MN clothing section, and all the other craft sections. On average my mother spends 2 hours here when she has the time. When her friends ask what she is doing, she will usually joke she has gone home to her mothership. The one thing I'd like to change would be their coupon policy. They do have good coupons however; you can't use them if you don't donate $1.00 to their 'charity of the week'. However, since YOU the customer are donating at least $1.00 you should get the tax break, but YOU AREN'T, Crafts Direct is. It isn't even about who gets the tax break, it's the principal behind it. If I wanted to donate to their 'charity of the week' I would do so on my own free will. I shouldn't only be able to use a coupon for their store if I donate. It's kind of a rip and a scam if you ask me. Definitely the down fall of this store and which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of a 5.

I'm in MN helping my son-in-law with the grands while my daughter is away. So today was "Nana's day off" and I went to the local craft store and promptly died and went to heaven. There are 7!!!!! long aisles just of Scrapbooking supplies. I spent 2 hours there and I'm not ashamed to admit it! As for how much I spent, let's just say it was my Valentine's Day gift to myself. If I didn't have to pick the kids up at daycare, I could've easily spent hours more.

For most women, I imagine that this store is just a hop, skip, and jump away from Heaven. It's a huge store with more crafts than you can imagine - beads, scrapbooking paper, stained glass, faux flowers, decor, and more. For most men, this store eventually becomes a little bit like torture, depending upon just how much time is spent here. There is salvation to be found for men in the little eatery located on the end. There you can find some pretty decent sandwiches, awesome bars and desserts, and beverages. Guys who are waiting for their loved ones can pick up some food and sit down here and read the newspaper or chat with other guys who are waiting for their loved ones.I've always found it difficult to find things here, and therefore always have to ask an employee where items are located. I like Crafts Direct a bit more than Hobby Lobby because I find that it's a more true crafts store. Hobby Lobby, by contrast, has a lot more decor.

OH MY CRAFT GOD, this store is awesome!! If you are into floral arrangements, holiday decorations, scrapbooking, this is the place for you my friend.Saw a sign for Crafts Direct on the interstate and had to stop. It's a few miles from the exit but oh-so-worth-it!You'll find some unique items here, so be sure to go up and down every aisle. And if you're a scrapbooker, you won't believe the amount of paper and stickers.Look online for coupons before you visit-as it probably will come in handy. I found one online while we were in the store. The cashier said they could not accept the coupon on my phone, but offered an equivalent she had behind the counter, which I really appreciated. Also check out the place next door-on sale items are moved to the smaller store, which is also where you'll likely find clearance holiday items.

Came back from TX and this was one place I HAD to visit. I LOVE scrap booking and have never found a place quite like this. It's the most amazing scrap booking store. Paper brands are sorted together. There are idea at the end of each aisle to get those creative juices going. There are so many options - over 6 long aisles just for scrap booking! There are flowers, wedding decor and ideas, paint, pencils, quilting supplies, and so much more. Any crafting idea you have GO to Crafts Direct for your supplies. I've found so many times I need to go to 2 or 3 stores for something in TX when I could have gotten it all at Crafts Direct. I wish I appreciated you more when I lived in St. Joseph! You can also find decor - already put together for your home. There is a coffee shop as well. It really is a one stop shop. Plus, it's local, family owned. A Hobby Lobby just came to Waite Park. Don't go. Buy local!I read some reviews before I wrote mine. I agree. The staff up front can be rude. Someone was rude the day I was there - recently. However, I've never had an issue with anyone on the "floor". I'm still giving Crafts Direct 5 stars, but if the owner is reading this - work on your front staff - especially if you want to compete with Hobby Lobby. Give people a reason to want to chose your store over the other and I'm sure you can win with customer service if you make it a priority!

Crafts Direct has so many products that other stores and Amazon do not carry. They have endless shelves of Tim Holtz inks and replacement inks that I was desperately searching for. Every time I'm in town, my mom and have to stop in to pick something up for the next project.

My daughter's birthday is coming up during this covid19 self-sheltering/social distancing and I wanted to make sure I could still make her feel happy on her birthday by giving her a gift she really wanted. Crafts Direct (online) had what she wanted (Melissa and Doug Scoop & Serve Ice Cream Counter) at a great price, with free shipping and it was delivered the next day. Such a pleasant smooth transaction with Crafts Direct. Thank you!!!
