Bring Cash! Lots of fun and different things for everyone in the family at Country Sun Farms. We've been coming here for years. Today was a pretty cloudy day with some sprinkles and extremely windy. We did the hayride first which costs a little over $6 (only cash accepted) for all riders with the exception of those under 2. It was a fun ride with lots of corny and cheesy jokes and lots of things to look at along the way. Alexander was our hayride tractor driver. We spent the majority of our time after the hayride inside to warm up. Our kiddo rode lots of the kiddo rides (train, Dino, motorcycle, mini carousel) - each costs 50 cents. Cash only accepted though they have machines to get change if needed. They have a huge greenhouse of pumpkins and organized by the type. We also purchased some snacks including cotton candy and hot chocolate...again cash only. Then we took some cute pics and headed home. I think we'll be back another day when the weather warms up! They also have a corn maze, animals to feed and check out, mining area, etc.

Adorable! I've always passed this on hwy 36 but never visited. County Sun Farms is super easy to identify as there is a classic black haunted house looking sculpture in the yard. Locate that and you are in the right spot! A great place to bring kids, the Country Sun Farm offers a giant corn pit, opportunity to mine for rocks, giant sculptures, animals such as goats where you can purchase feed for a small amount, luxurious land to run around and many photo opportunities. Inside the green house are plenty of large and small pumpkins, gourds, butternut squash, and little Halloween trinkets. The service is super friendly and accommodating. The value seems to be on target yet I know you can find slightly cheaper pumpkins at Trader Joe's, it is fun to give back to a local place that grows the product on-site. Note: this is NOT a dog friendly spot so leave the poochies at home Enjoy!! Happy autumn!

Very cute farm! Lots of fun things to do for the kids: bouncy house, string fighting, animal petting, scary house, fun tractor ride with corny jokes. The store offers a good variety of pumpkins. We really enjoyed our visit here.

We came in here hot on a Saturday morning right when they opened, parking right in front like we owned the place. Heck, the mini donuts weren't even ready yet. No bother. We went in back to what I think is the world's largest corn bath. My son went absolutely wild in there for what seemed like hours. After that, we got donuts. I was not to be denied. Post-donuts, we went outside and ran around their outdoor space, while not huge, had enough for the kids to enjoy - like a couple of tractors, some small animals and a bounce house. We liked their bounce houses because they had one for small toddler types and one for older kids. They also had a kid keeping an eye on the number of kids running around, etc. This is important when you have a 2-year-old and don't want them to get trampled by an 8-year-old girl practicing gymnastics or 7-year-old boys wrestling each other.I like how this place is right on rt. 36, so it is very easy to get to from our place in MPLS.

Halloween: We went out with a group and had a blast! It's free entry, just pay as you play. They have 4 areas with animals to pet and feed, wild geese and ducks kids were chasing and "talking" to. The hayride was fun, nice scenery, lots of older farm buildings, and the tractor driver was full of corny jokes. The corn maze looked pretty good, it's in the middle of the hayride and smaller than others I've seen. They have a silly string area set up similar to paintball. Some kind of gemstone mining. The concession stand had fresh donuts and cotton candy you can watch being made, yummy hot chocolate, coffee, and tea. All of the food and drinks were very reasonably priced- less than $5 for a hot dog and hot chocolate. Pumpkins and gourds galore! Priced competitively with the grocery stores and big box stores. It's a fun several hours with the kids.

This place is very fun to visit for fall! Lots of kids activities such as farm animals, rock mining, hay rides and silly string fighting. Their shop is really fun too, lots of different pumpkins to choose from and they are cheaper than the grocery store! Not to mention all the Pokémon GO stops and gyms they have on site!

If you are looking for pumpkins, look no further. This is your place. They have rows and rows of pumpkins, of many colors. They also have hay bales, gourds, and painted pumpkins. The prices are very good too. There is a small area to purchase hot cocoa, hot dogs, caramel apples, popcorn, etc.On the same property is a fairly large petting zoo with goats, sheep and chickens/ducks. Corn feeders are available for $.25 for kiddos to get a handful of feed. Hand sanitizer is connected to the feed. Hay rides are available and go a decent distance. There are many photo ops. This is a perfect, low cost place for families.

Awesome for pumpkins. We had a blast with our 20month old between the petting zoo and corn pit with 42 tons of corn! Prices we reasonable. I just wish it would have been a warmer day. Only down side was the bathrooms are port-a-potties so there was really a great place to change a toddler.

Kids has a fun time, but our pumpkins were rotten on the inside when we went to carve them. They would not exchange or reimburse.
