Corner House Pub

Ducked in out of the rain and was greeted with a smile from MaryKay. She makes a tasty drink, the bloody was deliciously perfect!

Went here on Tuesday night. It's the cleanest bar in the area and is very different than the other bars. It's fairly new. They have a nice selection of beers on tap and in the bottle. GREAT pizza!!The bartender was very nice! It's also the only place in all of Washburn County that I've found can make a MOJITO.It has a pub-style atmosphere and is not divey. Lots of cool paintings and beer signs. I will go here again when I'm back in town.

We were driving our ATV on the trail when the skies opened up, so we were in Spooner and found the Corner House Pub. The owner greeted us and poured us a beer and shared the story of this building and pointed out the tile floor is the original floor from the early 1900's. It's a beautiful location and he made an outstanding Bloody Mary (Wisconsin style with a ton of eats and a beer chaser). Once the weather improved, we got back on the trail. It's a great location and the owner suggested where we should go for dinner in nearby Rice Lake. From the looks of things at this old school supper club, this will be a winner too! The only thing to be aware of is he does cash only--no credit cards. A great day indeed! Thanks Corner House Inn!

Love love corner house pub. Owner Jim the best. Always welcoming and feel at home! Lots grt choices for drink. Pizzas not bad either. Frozen but still yummy.

I like this place! Very friendly, good service, reasonable prices. As others noted, it is clean, nicely decorated and feels homey. The lack of accepting credit cards is very common at bars in this area, we are used to it. No big deal. They have a great little black cocker spaniel that kinda is a greeter, fun!

Mack is an amazing bartender, made us cocktails that were delicious, old fashioned is the best we've ever had and so was the caramel apple martini

Good service and very nice atmosphere. Nice selection of beer and liquor. Boxed wine (ugh) and not so great frozen pizza. So have a drink but don't plan to eat here,

Finally! A classy, comfortable place in Spooner to enjoy the cocktail of your choice. I am a martini girl. Ask Jim to make you any kind of martini, he can make it! He has also referred us to the best dining in the whole area! We have met new friends over drinks at this wonderful, vintage bar. Every time we go to the cabin, one of the first stops is drinks with Jim and friends at the Corner Bar!! Do not miss this great place when you are in the Spooner area!

The night when I was in there it was a bunch of old guys at the bar. They don't accept credit or debit cards so you'll want cash. They have ATM there but they charge a bigger fee than most ATMS. It's good if you go in there with cash. You'll probably like the atmosphere. Last I was there they didn't have food.

Great atmosphere. Owner was working and was very personable. The pizza is good too. Stop in and see for yourself and say Hi to Jim.
