One of my favorite stops in Alexandria. Lovely and spacious patio and plenty of room indoors. I typically visit in fall so beer lineup a little different than what I am used to but there are still some excelllebt choices including the Irish red and the Czech pilsenerThey pulled my favorite item off food menu (tuna poke bowl) but the Korean shrimp bo was good. I just wish they had more vegetarian items- this bowl would have been excellent with edamame or tofu as the protein. I will be back.

Stopped by Copper Trail while we were in town and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The decor definitely meets the copper vibe and gives a somewhat rustic feel - I enjoyed the mural that told the story of how grain becomes beer. While here I got their copper sunrise and it was sooo good! The pineapple and cherry notes were prominent and it was not overly sweet or tart. It also had such a delicious cherry scent. I don't think I would complain if this were the only beer I could drink for the rest of my life. Wish I had time to try out more of their options. Service here was also nice, they were helpful and offered suggestions. Overall, can't wait until i'm back in town so I can stop by again!

What a delightful stop! We popped in for a hop passport stamp &, of course, pork belly anything. You order at the counter & seat yourselves. They text when your food is ready for pickup and go up to the pickup window to grab it, then carry it to your table. There is no table service. You do have the option to pay as you go or open a tab. The layout is nice, using an assortment of hi-los & there's plenty of well-spaced seating. Friendly staff are eager to share information on brews & hear feedback from patrons. I could easily see this being a regular stop if I lived closer. The tacos are larger than the standard street size. 2 would have been sufficient without an app but, ya know, pork belly there too - so... yeah, we had that too. The pork belly was well rendered- crispy outer & tender, not greasy inside. BravoPro Tip: Go with someone, each order 2 different varieties of tacos the trade 1 for an instant combo!

We had a lovely evening at this brewery. The craft beer was amazing, we could bring our dog as they don't have a license to serve food. So we enjoyed their beer and brought our own food and our dog. She behaved wonderfully as we all ate dinner and enjoyed crafted brews. Their selection of beers is vast and what we had was very good. Our food came from The Garden Bar on 6th. Well worth the stop before going to the brewery.

Inaugural visit on Friday..what a great brewery and space! I loved the fun half book barrel when we entered the first set of doors to the brewery. Then the merch is RIGHT there when you enter the doors to the brewery. All the tables are spaced out in the spacious tap room and I appreciated that more regular height tables were available than high tops. I opted for the Oletoberfest & it was delicious. We had lunch, she had the Sesame Soy Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. I asked the beertender about the tacos. She said the Korean Pork Belly Tacos were a little heavy and the Southwest BBQ Chicken Tacos were spicy. I didn't feel like having the whole "how spicy?" discussion so I opted for the Pork Belly tacos and hoped for the best, read: able to finish both my beer and tacos. My tacos were delicious & I did eat them all AND finish my beer without feeling miserably full. Sorry, I forgot to get pics of the canopied patio, but there is a large patio. We sat at one of the picnic-esque tables w the cribbage boards made in the tabletops. We don't play but thought it was a fun idea. I liked that when food is ordered you have to give your phone number so they can text you that it's ready. We parked in the parking lot beside the patio, if that should get full there is also street parking available. Copper Trail was a great stop for a beer, lunch & just to relax, cheers.

Great craft beers. And a disciplined dog is welcome as they do not serve food (you are supposed to grab that from a nearby restaurant). We did our sandwich grab from "The Garden Bar on 6th". All that said, this was totally enjoyable, and our dog was petted quite a bit. Good beer!

Copper Trail Brewing is a great place to get a fine crafted beer here in Alexandria, MN. I particularly liked the Lakeside Orange (wheat) and Bandit (a smokey Rauchbier). Of the other 6 tasters, they were all solid but did not particularly stand out (or were a bit too much coffee flavor in the event of the Milk Chocolate Stout).Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Definitely will stop in again if in the area.

Great beer and seltzer selection. Games to play inside and a great patio for warmer weather to enjoy. Music isn't overly loud and the beer tender was very knowledgeable and we had a great conversation.

Great beer! These guys know how to make various brews that would please any pallet. Try the Porter. It's absolutely delicious. Plus, the food trucks are usually out there. A great stop while in Alexandria.

My wife and I drove through Alex on the way up to her parents' cabin. I ordered 2 IPAs and they were both really good. We sat outside on the patio and they had a pizza oven vendor going on, and they looked really good!We sat outside on the patio and the atmosphere was good. I got a growler refill for way too much money, which I thought was way expensive.Good beer though.
