This is my second time to the orchard for their fall festival. It was a busy day with lots of families attending. They had brats and burgers for sale by the boy scouts. There's no admission for the orchard but all activities required payment except for the petting zoo. You don't get to pick your own apples and they have ready pick bags for purchased but very limited in quantities. There's parking in the designated lots and on street for free. Most activities cost $3.00/person for pumpkin painting and wagon rides. They had face painting but I wasn't sure what the cost was. The apple trees look pretty bare and the pumpkin patch seemed small from above but it could have wrapped around to the back, I'm not sure. There's a little Koi fish pond with a handful Koi fishes. Overall, it was a small orchard and pretty muddy from the rain the day before but a nice option for surrounding towns to come in the St. Cloud area.

I went here on the last day of the season. Upon pulling up, it didn't even look open. When I picture an apple orchard, I don't envision it within someone's yard. I could see the apple trees across the street but figured there must be more somewhere else because it didn't look like that many. There are some animals such as goats, sheet, chickens and alpacas. That was fun for the kids to see. We went into the store which seems like an old restored barn. There were a lot of apples and squash inside. I was disappointed there wasn't any apple cider donuts.I have very high expectations for apple orchards and I couldn't help but leave disappointed. I know that it is the end of the season but this place seems more like a mom and pop apple orchard. Oh and one of the barn cats jumped up on the baby and that totally freaked me and him out. We told the lady working inside about this but nothing came about. So beware of this cat!

Fun family place we visited this fall. Loved the animals and the wagon rides plus all the neat things in their store. I will visit them again next year!

We ended up taking family photos at Collegeville Orchards on Tuesday, October 1st. We got there around 5:30pm and literally got done at 6:04pm... Mind you the place closes at 6:00pm and with shitty luck we locked our keys in the car. At first we thought the owners were kind.. letting our kids stand inside their building to keep warm, if they wanted too but they didn't. A friend and a lock smith didn't make it out to us until 7pm. They were working on our car for awhile, and while they were trying to unlock it.. the owner obviously had an issue with us being there longer then he probably anticipated... then WE ALL ANTICIPATED. He had the audacity to complain to us that we DIDN'T BUY ANY PUMPKINS while we were there. WHEN ALL OF OUR CASH/CREDIT CARDS WERE LOCKED IN THE CAR WITH OUR KEYS (fucking idiot) and telling us to just smash our car windows. Rude as fuck. Honestly so thankful for the kind lock smith for towing our car out of that POS place. Also thankful for our other friend that came out to help and our photographer Devin Hill for staying when he didn't have too. And this place is suppose to be a "family friendly" environment. Money hungry assholes.
