Sorry about the horse butt, but as you can see they walk around the property. Only the animals that are friendly!

1/5It's all about the E's.Entertaining, eclectic, environmental and enjoyable. This was a unexpected find on TA, an organic winery! The owner was a great conversationalist and a unique and interesting person who we chatted with for almost two hours. It was fun learning the history of the place and about their animal rescue. We like sweet wines and the tastings were generous and all delicious. My husband enjoyed the brandy tasting too!

What a great day for 6 cousins looking for some great wine and a few laughs. Pat, you are a gem. We love everything about your wine, business, stories and your amazing animal rescue work. See you next year. Bring on the death scare.

Finding Clover Meadow Winery was an exciting addition to our up North trip. Clover Meadow is unique in the fact that they house and treat rescued animals, including horses and dogs. Some of these animals are walking around the property and you are able to pet them! All proceeds from the homemade wines, moonshines, and brandies go to the rescue. I believe it was the owner who greeted us right away and directed us to our table after showing us around. It is a cool experience coming to Clover Meadow, as it is an untraditional winery and displays a country, lax vibe. This place is 1 of only 13 organic wineries in the U.S. We shared four apps that were delicious, including homemade cranberry sausage and cheese platter. There was live music also! Check it out if you're in the area, hopefully you'll be as pleasantly surprised as we were!

Wine has a shelf life once opened... that's all i have to say. Many choices on the list weren't even available for tasting. Not planning on returning.

What an unexpected little treasure we found! I live in Burnett County and have never visited Clover Meadow..... 1. I don't have a very good knowledge of wine (let's be honest... none), and 2. I have this idea that all wineries are pretty "stiff" and "unwelcoming". Nothing could be farther from the truth for this little gem. We were invited by a friend to go out and listen to some live music on a Saturday afternoon, and after a little prodding my husband reluctantly agreed. He was not looking forward to hobnobbing with wine drinkers, as we are pretty laid back. He was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable atmosphere and the friendly staff that was more than helpful with our lack of wine knowledge. We sampled plenty before settling on our favorites. Our table shared a platter of meat, cheese, crackers, fruit, etc that was absolutely delicious! If you are looking for a comfortable, laid back place to enjoy some homemade wine, brandy & moonshine (yes, moonshine... the real deal. Enjoy that in moderation), Clover Meadow is the place to go!
