First time visitors to Clay Oven, the atmosphere is clean, bright and modern with friendly attentive staff - We started with the Paneer Naan and Missi Roti, both of which were fresh and absolutely delicious. The naan was so soft and buttery, while the roti had just the right kick of spices. The Masala Dosa was a standout for us. The dosa was perfectly crispy, and the savory filling was seasoned so well--it felt like comfort food with a twist. It was fun trying the chutneys that came with it, each adding a unique flavor. The highlight of the meal was the Tandoori Murg--wow! It came out sizzling, and the aroma alone had us excited. The chicken was juicy, tender, and full of that smoky, tandoori goodness we love.We also ordered the Palak Paneer, which was creamy, flavorful, and loaded with fresh paneer chunks. Definitely will be back when in the area.

Stopped by here for a a family birthday lunch. This is the second location of this restaurant that opened up in place of another Indian restaurant (Bawarchi) that used to be in this location. Close to the Carlson towers, located in a strip next to a Pizza hut. They have definitely updated the decor and ambience and its better than it was before which is much appreciated. Modern look and clean design. We ordered a few things, starting with chicken 65, lamb samosas and vada pav for apps. Also got chole bhature, a paper dosa and gosht banjara with an plain naan and rice. The food came out in a timely manner. The vada pav was decent, although I have never had it with Hawaiian rolls which made it sweet and not necessarily what I expected. The chole bhature and the goat was not bad. The chicken 65 was the most disappointing. Seemed like the yoghurt on top wasn't cooked all the way and had a raw yoghurt taste. The lamb samosas were good. The dosa could have been better and there are a bunch of other restaurants where you can get better dosas.Overall I miss Bawarchi and I was excited to try this place out for a nearby Indian restaurant but it turned out to be less than stellar and I won't be running back there. Bonus points for service and ambience, unfortunately the food didn't stand up to the same standards.

Yum! Very happy to have this new Indian restaurant in the neighborhood. It replaced one that was alright but this was really delicious! We got takeout but the interior has been updated and looks great. Conveniently can order online. There were not options to indicate spice level, but we thought our dishes all had a nice kick so wasn't too much of an issue for us. If you prefer no spice or a level 5, you may want to try to request that in comments. We ordered palak paneer, Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. All were incredibly flavorful and I had a hard time choosing which was my favorite dish and the Masala and Paneer have distinct profiles so I'd recommend just getting them both! The rice was a generous portion, more than we needed for sure. Only complaint was the to go containers are so filled that it's quite messy to open and serve. I wouldn't want to skimp on volume but perhaps something the business could consider in selecting a better option. We will definitely be back!

This has become a bit of a go to spot when we meet fellow Indian families. The cuisine is diverse and caters to vegetarian and non vegetarian customers equally well. That's not always easy.Today me and my parents met with a respected family from our community. They know their Punjabi quisines well and recommended we go here. We ordered four dishes and everything was really well prepared,

Good food, ambience is nice, service was great. We tried their kulcha chole, I think it missed the mark. Koftas were good. Fresh naans were appreciated.

We've tried Clay Oven a few times now and we've loved each meal! We're big fans of the garlic naan, the vegetable samosas, and the chicken coconut curry. I think having classic dishes like butter chicken would be a nice option - otherwise, I think the menu has a ton of choices. Really nice staff and really nice and clean restaurant!

Excellent food. Spice level 1 is truly not spicy si I loved it. My husband ordered a 3 but he likes real heat so next time will ask for a 5. Samosas were excellent and well as all the other dishes. Ordered ahead and ready when I walked in. Would 100% recommend

I don't go to Indian restaurants very often but because I an not familiar with this type of food or what to order. The food and service were excellent, the sauce in the coconut chicken was very tasty! I ordered it at a hot level of 4 might go to a 5 on next order. My friend had the salmon dish and that was good too. The restaurant was very clean and nice.
