Quite the surprise. Had it not been for the great reviews I would've never guessed that this place would be as good as it was. I've driven by this location multiple times and thought it was an abandoned building. So when I read about it online in my hunt for a true Cantonese style eggroll I was shocked to find out that this was the place when I pulled up. When I try to enter I discovered that they are currently only doing takeout only in the after order ahead. The interior looks like it has been re-decorated in over 25 years ago and they still have a cigarette machine. So I don't say these things as judgments but they were concerns but in-spite of it I ordered anyways. When I got home With my reservations about my order I discovered that I had in fact found a new hidden gem. I had the sweet-and-sour pork with Kenny's deli rolls and they were excellent. The food reminded me of the Cantonese restaurants that I used to eat at back home in the Chicago area.

The cheese cheese wontons were some of the best I have ever had. Sweet and sour chicken very good. The white rice was sub par. Overall happy

I recently ordered some takeout from this restaurant (pork egg rolls, moo goo gai pan, and sweet & sour chicken).Overall, the food was great! I really liked the egg rolls -- you can tell they are made in house. They're chocked full of ingredients and are a good size. The moo goo gai pan had good amount of both chicken and vegetables. The sweet & sour chicken was tasty. There were large pieces of breaded white meat chicken already doused in sauce. I prefer my dish that way -- I don't like when the sauce is on the side. The dish also included vegetables.I ordered via their website and scheduled a pick up -- the order was ready on time. I would recommend if you're looking for some decent Chinese food in the Burnsville area.

One lady I the store and she was absolutely awesome, super friendly offered to run the food outside to me. Was super grateful for the business. I do recommend at least coming in and trying this place out.

We've gone back a couple of times but have not been as impressed as our first experience. We got the chow Mein this last time and it was white with little to no chicken or mushrooms and mostly just a white slippery sauce with cabbage. The flavor was a bit better than it looked, but not great. The eggrolls were crispy and I love that they are a Cantonese style eggroll but the inside is kind of mushy. The veggie fried rice was pretty good and probably the best thing we got today. This was a take out order and unfortunately they completely forgot the potstickers in our order. Sadly the last couple of experiences didn't live up to our first one.

Wow, talk about a blast from the past. As I walked into this place to get my Chinese take-out, I felt like I had been transported back into the 1970s. This baby is old! Not in run down way, more like a museum preservation way. Bright red interior with matching red everything else followed by older looking tables and chairs. It is a snapshot of what this place probably looked like 30 some odd years ago. But hey, I've seen and eaten in worse (try shed in a backyard with food being cooked on bricks basically). I didn't mind anyways since I was getting take-out. This place seems like a family run business; both the lady and the man that assisted me were very courteous and friendly. Food was done quickly and I loved the online ordering option. I went simple with the order, I got Pork Lo Mein and Tomato and Pepper Stir Fry with Pork. Both came in good size portions, I had extra for lunch the next day. Love that. Also prices were very comparable to other Chinese restaurants I have been to. Both of my picks were very flavorful and tasted great. I especially liked the stir fry. The sauce was amazing. For a healthier option, I wasn't disappointed by the taste at all. All the veggies were full of flavor and at peak freshness. The pork was super tender and was very good. I will definitely make this place one of my go-to order out Chinese restaurants. And hey, maybe I'll do a spin off of That 70's Show and dine in sometime.

My husband and I ate here a few years ago and although I would never have called it "gourmet," the orange beef and fried rice were actually quite good. Unfortunately, our recent trip wasn't so great. Let's be honest, those who come here don't do it for the decor. What was once maybe cozy and quaint is now in desperate need of an update. The cigarette machine in the lobby is proof that it hasn't been touched in decades. I'm not sure if it was the snow storm or not, but when my husband, 10 month old and myself came in we had the whole place to ourselves....which leaves me questioning why the service was so slow. The high chair for my son was straight out of the 70's and probably hasn't been sanitized since. Now I've eaten at some small town, hole-in-the-wall places that turned out to be really good so I try not to let the atmosphere do ALL the talking. So let's get on to the important part....the food. The steamed rice was crunchy and old. The fried rice that my husband upgraded to with his meal was nothing more than white rice with soy dumped on it, the breading on his shrimp was more batter than breading and my orange beef was so tough it was hard to chew. Our server did stop by once to refill drinks but that was it. We had to go knock on the kitchen door to get our bill. As did a delivery driver during our dinner BTW. There was an older gentleman sitting on a chair in the kitchen watching tv while the woman was somewhere in the back. My overall impression is that the owners have given up. It's too bad because the location is great but it doesn't seem like they plan on investing anything back into what was once probably a successful business. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see it getting any better.
