Limited parking, difficult to get out of busy parking lot. Food is amazing as always-staff always has a smile on their faces and are very welcoming. Ps. They have boba now! Will be back.

So good. So surprisingly good for Monticello! Drive thru. I don't even have to get out of my car?! What is this life?!We got the sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken and beef and potatoes. All very good. My son ate ALL the teriyaki chicken and that's saying something. The sesame chicken has a very mild spice, but very tolerable. The breading is not overwhelming either. All the chicken was tender and moist (yes I hate that word, too).I also really enjoyed the wontons. A ton of cream cheese and the sweet and sour sauce was very good for dipping! I wouldn't put this in a class with high end Chinese restaurants, but for what it is and where it is - it's pretty darn good.

Great food, pleasant service and large portions. We had the Minnesota chow mien, vegetable egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, steamed veggies and all were so delicious!

I frequent Chin Yuen, And I enjoy the food there. I get the sesame chicken, fried rice and chicken lo mein. The food is all very good, and I am typically given quite good portions. The staff is also very kind. My only issue is that the food is a bit pricey. I think it is a great Chinese option in Monticello, if you are willing to pay a bit extra.

Best house fried rice I have ever had, all food is great, cant even compare it to other chinese places, 5 out of 5 easy!!Great service, and simple but easy going ambiance, quite clean too

First I'd like to start by saying we own a summer place up in the area and found this gem last year. We ate here often and it was always the best. I was so excited to get back to our summer place and order Chin Yuen. We did for the first time this season last night, May 2, 2024. All I can say is that it was a bag of extreme disappointment. We got the May special and 4 house egg rolls. The egg rolls were over done and soggy not crispy like they had been in the past, the sweet and sour chicken would have been good, however, there was no sweet and sour sauce for the chicken, luckily I got 2 small containers for the egg rolls or I'd have had crispy chicken and rice for dinner, my husbands Sechuan Beef was more like green pepper soup with a very little beef, it was disgusting he said. It seems that something happened between October of 2023 and now and it wasn't a good thing. We will not be spending almost 50.00 for dinner here again. This was not edible.

Usually their food here has been good. I normally order the Coconut Shrimp which is fantastic. Along with the cream cheese wantons. This time however I added an order of Chicken Chow Mein for my father. To say dissapointed would be an understatement. All celery watered down with maybe 3 small pieces of chicken. Avoid the egg rolls as well. I was told on the phone that the house egg rolls you only get 1 because they're "regular" size. Even though the website said 2. Well what I got was pretty tiny at best. The food here is expensive for 2 entrees, and order of Wantons and that puny egg roll was $26. I'm giving 3 stars because the chow mein here is horrible, and the food is over priced.

I stop here regularly for takeout. The Szechuan chicken and sesame chicken are excellent. Order online and it's usually very quick. The ladies working there are always friendly.
