Awesome food and a great beer selection - 4.5 stars!Three of us stopped at Champs to grab lunch and check them out. None of us had tried them out before.First of all, the service was great! Despite being busy, our butts hardly hit our chairs and our server was there to get us started. The same excellent service continued for the entire visit. We really couldn't have asked for anything better.Second, the beer selection is extensive. They have a very large beer menu, including 45 varieties on tap. They have a menu with many specialty cocktails too. I tried the "Zombie Dust" IPA beer. It was a shot in the dark - I liked the name. I really enjoyed it.Third, the food was all very good. They have a ton of interesting savory 1/2 pound burgers, lots of appetizer options too. My bacon peanut butter burger was juicy and satisfying. I got a side of tomato bisque soup and a side of jalapeno poppers with raspberry dipping sauce - again - great. My friend got a BLT with onion rings and our other friend ordered a breakfast skillet. They're one of the few bar & grills that offer a bunch of breakfast options, skillets & omelettes. All 3 of us loved the food.Fourth, the bar is large, modern, and very nice. The bar itself is huge along with 2 large dining areas. They have a pool table in the north dining room if you're into that thing. I've seen photos of the upper roof deck and it looks pretty neat. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to check this out. It was closed because it was a chilly fall type day. Finally, I saw a few reviews where people complained about the prices. Personally, I thought the prices were all fine and on-point, especially considering how much prices and inflation for food (and everything else) have skyrocketed since COVID. The bar was really busy for an afternoon so it seems like a lot of other people must feel the same way. I would have paid a LOT more money for the same food & drinks in the Twin Cities.All-in-all, a great experience.Thumbs up!- Maxx

I ordered the 1099 Burger special and my girlfriend order the 799 grilled cheese special. When the bill came the burger was 1399 and the grilled cheese was 899. I asked about the discrepancy and she stated that the champs sauce and the red onions that she had upsold me were an extra $0.50 a piece which in theory would have brought the burger to 1199. She explained the grilled cheese was more because it had American cheese. The problem is she never asked her what kind of cheese she wanted. I said okay knowing her explanation made no sense. I paid my $47 Tab and left a $10 tip. The food was delicious but I left annoyed. It's 3:30 a.m. and in my 51 years this the first review I have ever written which might give you an idea how annoyed I am. I may go back but I will definitely clarify what it is that I am ordering and how much they are charging.

I moved away from Wisconsin and now I'm here visiting friends and these cheese curds make me feel like I'm a Wisconsin resident again. And the friendly staff serving pichers of Spotted Cow is also pretty good.

The food was typical bar food. Hamburger was ok but nothing special. What lowered the rating was the price of beer. The prices were not listed on the menu. My wife had a 16 oz tap that was $12.50. I had a 16 oz IPA that was $8. This a crazy for a small town bar in Wis.

We were in town for a hockey tournament and we brought the whole team! It was a great place to get a meal, a drink, and have a spot for the kids to hang out. Wonderful staff to take care of us and really just a great afternoon. Thanks, Lisa for helping us out.

Overall great bar experience. Owner is always nice and staff are friendly. Food itself is your typical bar food menu, but they do a great job of making their own large patties for their burgers. Get it with the tots!Always a great selection of taps. If it's nice out, hit the rooftop. Only bar/restaurant in town with reliable and good wifi.

Soggy wings and a bland Caesar with a ton of Parmesan cheese. The beer was cold but other than that, can't say a ton about this place.
