Celts Craft House

In December, when restaurants were closed, we ordered from here. We've never tried the restaurant before, so I just ordered a random group of items to share. Everything was quite good! My favorite - the poutine - it was soo good! Pot roast with gravy on top of the cheese and fries; I've had lots of poutines, even in Nova Scotia (first time ever) and New Brunswick, and this one was very good! We also split the Belfast Burger, the Fish & Chips, and the Beef Dip sandwich, all of which were enjoyed. We ordered onion rings on the side of the burger - definitely a good choice. We were quite pleased to find another good restaurant for delivery, and we will definitely be ordering from them again.

Third time coming, first 2 times the service and food were great! Tonight not so much, unfortunately. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and carrots. The potatoes and carrots were delicious, the steak was rare, like really rare. It also tasted like it was freezer burnt with little to no flavor. I tried a couple bites of it and had to spit it out it made me gag. When the waiter came back towards the end of our meal he asked how everything was. I told him the steak was rare and I couldn't eat it. His response was "I should have told him earlier" when he came to check in on us shortly after dropping off the food. I had not cut into nor tried my steak at that time, also since when is it alright to tell the customer they should have done something and they were in the wrong?!? A simple I'm sorry, can I get you something else or a new one would suffice. He did offer to get me a new one which I declined due to loss of appetite from the bad steak also his comment. Not that I expect to get the steak or anything compt but the least they could have gone was given us a round of drinks or something small. Not basically blaming the customer and then bringing the bill and shoeing us out the door. Not impressed and really disappointed.

Very unassuming as you walk up and walk in. we arrived about 45 minutes before closing on a wednesday, and it was pretty quiet, but the bartender/waitress was still attentive and gave us a good amount of attention. good enough beer list, and the reuben was delicious! i also got the banger bites, which were fantastic. the cheese curds were nothing special, but overall it was a pleasant surprise!

I've been here several times. It's a pub but has a scratch kitchen. The dressings... the dips... the soups etc are all made in house and I've never been disappointed. The Rueben is awesome - real tender corned beef. Burgers are great brisket and chuck grind. The bartenders are friendly and there are pull tabs behind the bar. I've always had great food and reasonable food prices.

Very pleasantly surprised at this place! Wanted somewhere with decent food and beer before going to the Zoo, and they did not disappoint on anything. Had these little deep fried balls of corned beef that were stellar, and the poutine was soooooo good They even had a pistachio beer that I ordered simply because I knew it would either be the greatest thing ever, or absolutely disgusting, and it was HELLA delicious!!! Bill was cheap too- only "complaint" was that the waitress kept checking on us every 4 mins ... no, really, we timed it, lol. 10/10 would recommend

My husband and I were very disappointed in our experience here. We started our meal with a classic Midwest staple of cheese curds. They were probably some of the worst cheese curds we've ever had. The breading was too thick and many of the cheese curds had little to no cheese inside and were just hollowed out breading. Things got worse when we got our entres. I got the surf and surf which came with a piece of cod, "lump crab cake," and two sides. The crab cake was horrible and was flat as a pancake. It didn't even taste like crab meat and tasted more like a low budget tuna fish patty. The cod was ok but nothing to write home about. My husband's Cole slaw was horrible and just tasted like vinager drinched cabage. On top of just awful food, when we got home my husband felt very sick from something we ate there. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars and not one is because the service wasn't too bad and atmosphere was actually pretty nice. Please take our advice and go elsewhere in Apple Valley for better food .

Food is always fresh and delicious. Service is stellar. We love stacey! This Celts is NOT affiliated with the celts in rosemont or Farmington

We liked the food however the we thought the portions we super small. It's a convenient restaurant for us, we can walk there. When we move we won't drive back for it.

Minneapolis Airport, delivery. Ordered the Reuben egg rolls, Shepards pie and the beef dip. The beef dip was the best I'd ever had. The meat was perfect. Not fatty or chewy. Shepards pie was excellent too. Probably wouldn't order the Reuben egg rolls again bc it was just do much food! Would definitely over again .

I like this place it offers good burgers, and the fish & chips are also pretty good. Beer selection it not too bad either. Prices are reasonable and normally not too busy. Definitely worth checking it out.
