Casa Azul Agave Mexican Restaurant

Wanted to try a new place for Mexican Foods and what a diamond in the rough Casa Azul is. Located in a strip mall off 35E the restaurant is small but very welcoming. The staff was extremely friendly and answered all our questions. The jalapeño margarita was perfection and truly one of the best I have ever had. The chips and salsa were fresh and our group inhaled them.The menu had many traditional options and some current items like the burrito bowl that my wife and daughter really enjoyed. I enjoyed the Chili Colorado and left nothing on my plate.We will for sure go back when in the mood for Mexican food and a margarita.

Came here on a Saturday evening and was seated immediately. Casa Azul is located in a strip mall, attached to a gas station with a medium sized parking lot. We were able to sit in a booth and received service immediately. The wait staff was kind and attentive. The restaurant offers a smaller amount of seating and is a Mexican restaurant with the ambiance of a sports bar. We both ordered combo #4 which consisted of 1 burrito, 1 enchilada, and 1 taco. I had mine come with shredded chicken. Overall the dish was bland. I was confused by the sauces on the enchilada as it smelt like marinara but did not taste like much. The taco was good, it came with a hard shell which I enjoy, and the chicken was nice.

What a great Mexican restaurant! I always drive by it and decided to give it a try. I ordered a plate of tongue tacos which is a very tradition meat you have and this is the first place I see that they offer it as an option. The ambiance is definitely lively and they do have a restroom in the back to use. I definitely recommend the tacos here I was not a fan of the horchata as it was very grainy and watery at the same time. The service was good and they do have a parking lot area. The steak dish on the other hand was a tad tough for me but flavors were still good !

Here's the absolute best part of this place... the Horchata. First, it taste very good. Some Horchata has too much cinnamon, other have wayyyy too much syrup. This was a well balanced horchata or sweet/savory. It's served in a chilled mug that is typically used for something like root beer floats. Still, that's not the best part, FREE REFILLS. I've never been to a place that gave free refills of Horchata. We asked for no ice, and it was still cold. For this reason alone it's worth going to!The entrees were good as well. Lots of queso as an accompaniament to their dishes!

Small business but food was pretty good. Staff were very nice and welcoming. I had order 6 steak tacos.

The food is authentic Mexican and really well done. I loved the tamale, rice, beans, chips and salsa. My only take away was the burrito not my cup of tea could have been better. My drink was also really good! The service is great they are awesome and quick! The ambiance here is calm, slightly quieter than most places I go! I love the music and pictures they have as well.

A new neighborhood favorite! Excellent service and the best food. We especially love the dips!

Horrible customer service. Calling a customer who is supporting your business a liar is a really bad business. I called to confirm my online order and was immediately told by the "manager" that they don't take certain online orders. She did not have the basic courtesy to listen to anything I had to say, instead saying I had no idea what I was talking about. Per the delivery driver, she instructed her workers not to fulfill my order (the order she previously said didn't exist). How do you "manage" a restaurant and not know that you receive online orders or from where??? I will never order from this place ever again and will never support an establishment that has a manager or owner that tolerates this type of service. I am only giving a 1 star because it does not allow me to give 0 stars.

This place was disgusting. After a long day of activities me and my friends were looking forward to this place. However upon arrival we just got a dirty feeling this place may not be the best. Especially after my friend saw a big roach on the bathroom. It was later after we had all ordered frozen margaritas did we start to notice multiple roaches all over the liquor. These bugs were crawling all over everything. Glasses, open bottles, counters etc. then when we confronted the man he wiped it them away with the same towel he used to fry our glasses to drink out of and his hands. Then places the dirty roach towel back on the counter. We saw multiple wishing moments. A lady happened to come in while we were leaving while waiting for a refund. The lady even was life oh no I will not be eating here that is disgusting and walked out. She saw them herself and even took a picture. After receiving our refund we left and the worker immediately put up the close sign and it wasn't supposed to be closed yet for another few hours. This is a serious health concern. We weren't even comfortable sitting at the bar anymore so we stood the rest of the time. We all know the saying where there's one roach there's more. Watch where you eat your food Photos below

Wide open , very spacious restaurant where you won't feel like you are all crammed together with pretty good food n service. We'll be back for sure !
