The workers directed me straight to the right bins. Pretty easy. I did look a little list at one point as I had multiple types of recycling but another worker saw me looking around and pointed me in the right direction.

This place is fantastic. How much fun can it be to take people's stinky used oil, computer crap and miscellaneous hazardous waste all day long? Take it from me, these are the most joyful people you will ever see in this business. They seem eager to get their hands on your junk and are pleasant in the process. It's always busy around opening time when I typically get there but they are very efficient at getting people turned around and out the door. They make doing the right thing with your toxic items very easy to do!

It is a good place to get the job done. HOWEVER, they should put in place an aisle marking "who is NEXT" at the back garage for electronic or cardboard drop offs.. I have waited in line so many times just to have someone pull up next to me, and then just drive into the back recycle garage when the opening is clear. These are people who are aware my car is sitting there, idling in line. Why isn't there some kind of organized LINE UP ? It would be sooooo much nicer.

This is a real service for Carver County. We end up accumulating cardboard at our house. We can quickly drive up and get rid of it for free. Many other items are free to Carver County residents as well. The folks that work here are welcoming, helpful and responsive. You can get rid of almost anything here and you have low fees for electronics and mattresses.

Fantastic operation! As a Carver County resident, I have brought cardboard, old clothing and shoes, food scraps, old paint and household chemicals, as well as scrap metal to recycle for free through the Environmental Center. I have also paid a fee to recycle old household electronics. Wonderful staff will assist you. So glad that I live relatively close to this location.
