Caribbean Marina & Restaurant

I came out to the waters of Lake Minnetonka to purify my fiancé lol (We Love Prince) then we stumbled upon this restaurant! We had no idea this was here but truly glad we did!The servers were phenomenal, nice and checked on us often! The food was great!!My fiancé and I had the beef tacos, for us to be from Las Vegas we truly loved it!! Not too greasy or too heavy it was perfect!!I enjoyed a Margarita as well!! Our server Brady was phenomenal! Huge shoutout to him for also telling us the local spots to look out. We plan to come back and want to thank him for his phenomenal service!

I want to start off by highlighting the amazing customer service this restaurant offered us during our meal. Our waiter and manager of the night, Brady, was phenomenal. He gave great recommendations for what to eat, drink and even tourist spots to visit while we were in town. We are the birria tacos as recommend and my fiancé had a margarita with the tequila Brady recommended and we had minimal complaints. For me I like my tacos to have some more cheese and the taco to be more in tact, it was soggy quick even without the consome so I had to use a fork. Brady explained the cooks were new and I was pleasantly surprised. They did good for a week on the job and again my suggestions are minimal. The view by the restaurant was also amazing. We had a total Prince fan girl moment being near the lake (hence my picture) but it was a great meal. Whenever we visit Minnesota we will definitely be back to try some more menu items.

Chips and queso are one step above a concession stand. . So embarrassing for Tequila Butcher. Drinks were good and food was decent. Not going to boat back anytime soon.

We were looking for some place to dine on the lake on a BEAUTIFUL night and found this little gem. It is tucked away but close to excelsior. We were able to walk right up and get a excellent table overlooking the marina. The service was very prompt! We ordered the chips and queso and those were a HIT! The chips were not your standard chips, they were super fresh as in they were made on site. The queso was also excellent! I ordered a burger and the fries were the BEST. The burger bun was delicious, im still on the fence about the burger patty though, it tasted a little processed and rubbery. I could see us going back since the location is excellent and Id be curious to try some other things as well.

Decided to go check this place out yesterday before they closed for the season and it was a good idea the service was great really friendly and fast I really like how everyone help each other but it was really uncomfortable when the bartender started swearing when there's like a lot of kids around, it made my wife feel uncomfortable otherwise great place to enjoy some drinks, I'm totally going back next season

Food is great, drinks are strong, view of the lake is unbeatable. Service is sloooooooow

Better when it wad burgers. Baby back ribs were dry and did taste like the same day I went.

Came here by boat late Sunday morning, 8/25/19. We have been trying to go here by boat since they re-opened, but there has always been a wait, the water is choppy there, and we did not know how many spots there are ... the answer is 11 tight spaces. Two very helpful dock hands guided us in and confirmed the docking is the same as Maynard's (they visually put your boat in cue).The dock itself is older and walkway narrow. My dog stepped one leg off in fact. The dock hands said it is going to be redone over the winter, but will have less spaces. Hopefully they can also add more spaces. The deck is huge per the pictures, with a covered section by the bar. We brought our three dogs and were sent to the far side by the bar and given two water bowls. My wife really liked the walk up order window instead of having to wait for a waitress. Alcohol is purchased at the bar separately (I had to try my first ever breakfast beer).The food selection is limited. They cook the burgers well done, which is how my wife and daughter like theirs anyway. I prefer mine pink, on the bloodier side. No dice. Nevertheless, the Caribbean bacon BBQ burger I got was very good and huge. So were the onion rings. My daughter gave her hamburger with lettuce, pickles and tomatoes five stars, but onion rings less ... I disagree. These are exceptional. My breakfast beer (can) was also really good. My wife loved her mushroom Swiss burger and said the sweet potato fries were incredible.All the staff is super nice. Service five stars.We did drive there after eating at Hazellewood recently to see where it is. It is a strange location. Really deep inside a residential neighborhood. Not really convenient to get to by car or boat ... hopefully they remediate the boat parking issue by next year.The dock hands said the best time to come is just what we did: Sunday morning. I am just happy there is another option on the lake, and the food is very good. We will be back.

Coming back around on this one...1. New ownership. They've hired some fantastic summer help, both at the gas dock as well as the restaurant. Super friendly and helpful with an attention to detail and quick service. 2. Restaurant. Same great burger and fries, and they've made it more efficient by having an order window rather than wait-staff to expedite your orders. 1/2 pound burger and fries was enough to split... but of course you add in some onion rings and it was a full blown meal for two!3. "Bar" area. Separate from the restaurant window, so you can grab a beer, wine or set-up for your own favorite cocktail.I'll reiterate... if you want the "see and be seen" atmosphere of Fletcher's or Maynards, you won't find that here. Just really excellent staff, good service and reasonably priced food and drinks!...and they're planning on redoing the dock system this winter for easier access to the restaurant and better situation for the gas dock! NICE!

The first word that comes to my first word on my mind is rude! I have supported this particular business/establishment for many years ..... earlier today I was I was boasting how great their staff is. However, my tone has changed, with every year the rudeness accelerates with the manager.During this time when a community should come together and be kind, the manager chooses to tear people down and divide ....... shame on you!!! Get the bells out like GOTYour sign said open... BTW: your attitude said closed!
