Great find in this small town! Had great food, service and live music on the patio. will be coming back.

Stopped here a year ago with 5 people in our group to eat.Had the waitress walk by several time in our 15 minutes of waiting.We walked out at that time.Came back today thought I'd give them a second chance.Service was good but the special which was chicken Alfredo was cold and horrible. The management was so gracious to take $4.50 off of the 2 Alfredo meals we could not eat.What a joke.Will definitely not be coming back.There are a lot better quality in the area.Your better off going to AJs.They have quality food and service.This place has really gone down in quality since the new ownership took over several years ago.Won't recommend to anyone.

Great stop-off while pontoon-ing around Lake Minnewaska - boated right up to dock-- just a hop, skip, and a jump to some good eats and drinks :D

Newly remodeled and the service was great. The Texas bacon burger is really good. The beers were nice and cold. Great place to stop when your out on the lake.

My wife and her sister paid for a lake cruise on Minnewaska for my in-laws 55th wedding anniversary July 19th. The cruise was to include food for 40 people. Everything was great...at first...as we got underway. Then came dinner...We discovered that the coordinator (Kenny) only supplied less than half the food for our hungry guests. The crew was unaware and had nothing to do with that portion of the package. We got through and were able to feed the kids at least and drinks from the cash bar.When we docked at the restaurant, my wife and her sister confronted the elusive coordinator about the mishap. He gave some rather lame excuses and had the nerve to keep the credit card tab open for the guests to dine at the restaurant instead...and even suggested keeping the tab open for a "gratuity". My wife had to stop payment on the entire bill, paid for what we received on the boat, and tipped the (very gracious) crew in cash personally. We managed to have a good time amongst ourselves with our guests, but the logistics of a "big ticket" event were poorly planned and executed by an individual responsible for a quality experience. I would strongly recommend using The Lakeside's cruise experience over this establishment any day. The management really needs to learn customer service skills and quality control. Don't waste your time.However, the burgers at A&W up the hill were fantastic.

I would hope that a place with such terrible reviews would learn and become a better establishment, however this place seems to be the exact opposite. Then with change of ownership in 2022 you would think maybe turning their reputation around. If you are disabled. If you have a service dog. Do not go to this establishment. Not only will they embarrass you, they will demand paperwork, they will violate your rights. They will create a scene and swear at you. Remember being right off the water, most people don't carry paperwork with them or their SD isn't wearing a large vest. However your behavior towards someone with a service dog is horrendous. So your service is shite. Your food is shite. Now your attitude towards disabled people and their service dogs is shite. Congrats on the trifecta award.

Not only do they not know the American Disabilities Act regarding service dogs they were incredibly rude and disrespectful when approaching me regarding my service dog who was well behaved and in no way causing any disruption and tucked under his chair like he was trained.

Service is slow. Not open for lunches on weekends. Bartenders are unfriendly as well.

We visited for lunch and it was an unmitigated disaster. The food was cold, and extremely poor quality. We were served cold, flavorless food and undercooked chicken and tartar sauce instead of blue cheese dressing on the wings. Out of 4 of us, 3 of the meals were inedible. When we brought it up to the staff they "fixed" it by removing less than $5 from the bill. Don't eat here.

If I went out of my way to create a yelp account just to talk about my experience, you know it's bad! Up front, I have been visiting this area almost every weekend for over 25 years (so I wish it was positive review) and I have spent time traveling all around the country, and I can confidently say that my last experience was so shockingly awful, we had to laugh and walk out after an hour of waiting before making a scene. The short and sweet of it, we (parents and my 3 year old) went on all-you can eat rib night on Thursday. Ordered drinks, ordered food and...that was it. 52 minutes after waiting, we got up and left without any food being served, or asked if we wanted a second drink. Keep in mind, there was only 1 other table occupied in the building! If they were out of food, if the cook had a medical incident, if there was a fire...we were willing to take ANY excuse, but the waitress just said "it should only be a minute more?" In my lifetime, I can confidently say that was the worst service I have ever had. p.s. If you're looking for a place to get a decent price on off-sale alcohol, they do have that available. Other than that, keep our expectations very low.
