Very good breakfast today. The Cajun Breakfast is an awesome entree that somehow works. The mushrooms really make the dish.My husband had the King Kong omelet and thought it was great.Don't miss the homemade jelly.Service was good.The bathrooms were both out of service and it was really cold in the restaurant or I would have given another star.

Middle of the road in terms of food. I would give the cinnamon roll a HUGE miss. The roll itself is as big if not m, bigger than a persons face but it if dry as heck. Completely inedible. Service was okay. Place was nice and quiet. If I ever go here again, avoiding that cinnamon roll. Though, I probably wouldn't be enthused to return.

I like this place. it is quaint, it is clean, the staff is nice, and the food is honest. Nothing stands out per se; it is well-made food at a fair price and ever so tasty.We had a group of four hear for lunch. Any place that serves breakfast throughout the day is already my favorite place. I opted for the chicken and waffles. The waffles were perfect. Crispy outside and tender inside. In my opinion, this is the best of both worlds, of sweet waffles and maple syrup and the savory of the chicken and the sausage gravy. They even cut up the chicken just like my mom would do in my youth :) Others had the sizable egg sandwich with hashbrowns. I tried the hashbrowns, and they were pretty good. This place is on the other side of the metro for me, but I will certainly hit it up if I am down there.

Amazing food, great coffee and friendly service. The ambiance is reminiscent of an old school diner with a variety of patrons. I have tried several breakfast items and have never been disappointed. They appear to be short staffed with servers, but they are always attentive and friendly. There were some rouge veggies in my husband's omelette (which he was not fond of) but I'd still encourage you to give it a try! I'm excited to try the lunch menu during my next visit!

I was in the neighborhood. I got the cajun breakfast. Eggs were more OM than OE. The hollandaise was delicious. Basil love the Philly omelet. I got the wheat that was buttered well. The handicapped parking spots are not near the restaurant but in front of the exercise/workout place. Somebody moonlights as a comedian. The service was good. I'm glad we beat the party of 8 by 5 minutes. The cook is very fast. You'll need to keep a jacket or sweater on in the in between weather. Every seat is near the front door. It's the kind of hood where there's lots of regulars.

stopped by here today at 1:30 hoping for a quick lunch with my elderly mom. Since they close at 2, we were told the frier had already been turned off... no problem - we each got a taco salad (we were going to go without the shells, but they had 2 already fried/puffed). The salads were wonderful with a REAL tomato, fresh onion and nice lettuce. salsa and sour cream were on the side (which I liked). nice amount of flavorful meat. We'll be back to try more!

Cahill Diner was an unexpected surprise. I wet for breakfast and had the Mess. A wonderful plate of hash browns scrambled eggs, green peppers, ham, bacon and hollandaise sauce accompanied by sour dough toast. Service was superior. Prices were reasonable. The cafe itself is decorated in a 1950's theme. A must stop by for anyone close to the area.

Went in for breakfast today limited breakfast menu. I'm not a meat and hash brown person. No eggs or omelets where served without them. No problem, so I went with the oatmeal, toast and apple juice. The oatmeal was like soup, the toast was unbuttered and the apple juice warm. I will say the waitress was friendly and efficient. Not her fault the food was bad! I ate very little of the food and left never to return.
