The Borscht Soup was delicious , as well as rest of food ! The waitress: owner was so sharing and nice. She even sent us with containers of home made pickled beets !! So kind!We were a group of 10 .. service was quick and so pleasant.

If you are in the Cable area and desire a solid, hearty meal, then this is the place to stop. The owner is intimate with the daily operations and insures you have a great experience. I have been visiting this cafe for years and never once have I been disappointed. Portions are very large and pricing is very reasonable. Check out the pics from my most recent trip up north. I love this cafe.

We've been coming here for years with each trip to the area and Cable Cafe has been consistently good for breakfast - hash browns that are cooked to perfection (the right crisp without being mushy), eggs are great and the pancakes are soooo good! Service is also very pleasant and accommodating. Just be sure you bring cash (no cc allowed).We'll be back!

Real food cooked when you order so everything comes to you hot. The Reuben was large and delicious, fries crispy and filling. Our kids ordered a kid's hamburger and a grilled cheese and I was jealous of their meals too!Heartily recommend this place

What a gem!Best breakfast I have had in a long, long time. The chicken fried steak was perfect and the best I have ever had. Sausage gravy was great and the eggs were exactly as I asked. Rare place that actually has sourdough bread.Great prices and very generous portions.Absolutely recommend.The owner was our server that day and she also makes incredible jams and other treats that are available for purchase.It's a little small but definitely the place to stop if you are anywhere nearby!Be warned - no credit cards - cash and check only.Cannot recommend strongly enough!

The Food was great and made from someone who cares. Jamie was our server who brought plenty of coffee and homemade Jelly, assortment of herbal teas.We had HOMEMADE corned beef hash with very good rye toast .. Partner had tri tip sirloin done perfect medium and both eggs on each plate were prepared perfectly. A great little cafe in the Northwood. The cafe is a snug place, clean and highly efficient.
