"Take out/delivery order review. The namKhao (crispy curry rice salad with pork sausage) is out of this world!! ! I've never had this dish before and boy have I been missing out. Ordered medium-hot. Wasn't too bad on the spice, I could have probably ordered up one level. The dish is so tangy and flavorful with delicious textures. Don't sleep on this one!!"
"As I sit here smacking my lips and debating a 3rd helping....Imma say they still have it. This food is THE truth! I hadnt been because I thought there had been an owner change. Maybe it was....I dont care cuz the food is bussin'. I never hummed so much during a meal. I got all my favorites. I got massamun (sp?) Curry and basil fried rice and the special eggroll. It was more than enough to share with hubby and still have leftovers for dinner and lunch. I would show photos but keep eating before I can take a shot. Its so good!"

"One of the best Thai spots in the twin cities! We loooooved the cream cheese wontons, especially the dipping sauce. The drunken noodles has great flavor. The pineapple curry was just enough spice and huge amount of pineapple and protein. Could have used a bit more flavor for the fried rice. But we absolutely loved it! Lots of seating. There is covered parking in walking distance. It's around a bunch of other shops as well, super fun location."
"After a few years of just doing takeout we returned to the pretty dining room at Thai Garden for dinner tonight. We realized how much we missed this hidden gem. The menu is huge but we love the curries and the egg rolls. Also we tried Thai basil stir fry tonight it was very fresh and tasty. The green peppers were cooked perfectly ( not over cooked). We enjoy when the chef comes out to ask diners how they liked their dinners. Friendly server. Comfortable setting. Parking in back"
"This place is great! Walkable location once you find parking in downtown St. Paul. Food: we ordered the chicken satay, a vegetarian spring roll, fried wonton, and pad Thai. Everything tasted great! The second time I came here we ordered fried tofu and it wasn't our favorite. It was tofu that was fried, rather than tofu coated in a batter then fried. Service: you walk in and wait to be seated, which is usually very quick. Heads up that they are pretty busy around lunch time as it's in a prime business location. Ambiance: I spent ~10 minutes talking with a veteran sitting next to me who told me this place has been around for years and recently upgraded locations. The place looks nice and they are sticking true to their "unassuming Thai food" brand.Would recommend if you are in St. Paul."
"Delightful! Such a calming Zen atmosphere. The food was authentic and beautifully presented. The depth of flavor and freshness was a surprise for the price point. Very affordable and absolutely delicious!! Fair warning-this place brings on the heat so be sure to ask them for little to no heat if you are not familiar with Thai peppers. I ordered the Pineapple Shrimp Curry and their signature Green Curry Salmon. Both just melt in your mouth fabulous. We'll be back for sure!!"
"Casual joint with a good amount of seatingand parking. While there werent many people dining in, the number of take out orders sure kept them busy. There was one gal holding it down, from seating folks, taking orders, managing the takeout, bills, serving, bussing and more. To no surprise, things moved slowly. Thankfully the music was good; the 90s and early 2000 R & B jams took me back and made the wait bearable.-Good wings, with a very light seasoning but still flavorful. -Good cream cheese wontons, but didn't don't like plum sauce. - dish 45 was okay, but a bit bland."
"We stopped in for lunch and were seated right away and able to order promptly. Our waitress was really nice. For an app, we ordered the Squid Yaki. For meals we selected the Chicken Lo Mein, Crunch Roll and King Dragon Roll. Took off one star because: a) app came out at the same time as the lo mein; b) chicken in the lo mein was overcooked; c) had to hunt down our own forks & napkins and then wait to ask for chopsticks. The Squid Yaki was tasty and the portion was plentiful! The two rolls had amazing flavor and we'd definitely order them again."
"Cozy. Friendly service. Delicious Thai food. Fresh vegetables. We will be back. We recommend it."
"Spring rolls and classic pho, also had the basil stir fry!Great meal!$38.37 after tax before tip!"
"Wow!! I am so impressed. First off our server was extremely nice. She kept checking in on us and made sure we liked everything. Also, the food was extremely tasty. We tried the mango spring rolls which had mango, veggies, and shrimp inside. The two sauces they served them with were addictingly good!! Also, I ordered the Rama peanut spinach curry!!! Soooo good!!! Honestly, it was like delicious peanut sauce spread over fried tofu and spinach! The prices are similar to other Thai restaurants in the area! I would definitely go back now!!! So delicious!"
"I am a fan of Soberfish (which has a full bar for the record). Fresh ingredients, artfully prepared at a fair price. The service is consistently attentive. To top it off, the setting is charming. Never had a bad meal here. I should go more often and so should you!"

Finally made it to On's Thai. First of all I have to say that the stuffed chicken leg is so unique and so good! I'm thinking it must be quite a process however it is totally worth it. This looks like a chicken leg. You can pick it up and eat it or eat it with a fork and knife. The outside skin is crispy. The inside is diced chicken, mushrooms and noodles. Really tasty. We also ordered their chicken pad thai, drunken noodles, panang curry and of course some wontons. Their chicken pad thai was solid. I really like anything with rice noodles so their drunken noodles was a hit. The panang curry was rich and had great depth, however had too much ginger for my taste and how can you go wrong with deep fried cream cheese goodness. Happy to have finally tried On's Thai. Looking forward to trying more dishes and getting some more of those stuffed chicken legs.

Got a few orders to go yesterday, My daughter lives in Lakeville not far from here and we always get the curry dish with vegetables and replace the tofu with shrimp and no spice. So delicious! Heard a rumor that they have new owners.?.?.? The dish did look a little different how the carrots were cut etc so maybe it is true. I have only eaten in house once and after picking up take out yesterday and waiting a bit for it to be ready and looking around I don't think I would be excited about eating inside, the place was terribly painted and things needed cleaning especially the diamond chandeliers, covered in dust and all there little flowers and nice nacs sitting around. Food was very good we got an order of 5 entrees equalling $79.00 but were only given 1 fortune cookie, kind of odd for that big of an order. Sorry I took no pictures. They do have large quantities we way over ordered but fun having leftovers.

A hidden gem in Edina! If you want authentic and delicious Thai food, this is the place for you! Pad Thai is awesome and can be completely vegetarian which most of their dishes can be made without any meat! The portions are also big enough to last you another meal or share with a friend! Service can be slow when they're busy but it's worth the wait. Otherwise if you're in a hurry, just order for takeout or delivery! Kid friendly atmosphere and also a good place to get together with friends! And yes, they have Sticky Rice with Mango for dessert!

Pad Khee Mao (Drunken Noodles) - good. One of my dishes had way too many bean spouts, no idea why. They have a cool patio, in an area where almost no one has outdoor seating, let alone a nice big deck.

Came for a quick dinner. I had the Sukiyaki - Silver thread noodles, Napa cabbage, celery, beef, and squid with vegetables and sukiyaki sauce. I was surprised to see this Japanese dish in the menu. It was a huge bowl of food that was good, but it could have been better. Seemed like it was reheated and the calamari were tough. The ambiance is very casual but not inviting.

Stopped in for lunch. They had a great looking menu with plenty of options. We ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai and the Beef Pad Sea Ew. The portions were huge. We took home leftovers that will be enough for 2 more meals each. We ordered mild spice, which turned out to be a little spicer than a typical mild spice. They were both swimming in sauce, which made them a little "sloppy" to eat. Even with that, we really enjoyed the flavor and taste of the dishes. We had good service, and the restaurant was neat and clean. Will definitely go back and try the sushi and other items.

"This is another gem on University Ave in St. Paul. The decor is very inviting. Quaint tables with nice tablecloths welcoming you in to the dining space. The papaya salad was outstanding. The spring rolls were freshly made. I had to request an additional sauce because the springs are a very nice size...enough to share. Service was friendly and attentive."
"Tasty spot!My husband and I were craving Thai food last night and ended up driving here from Minneapolis and we were NOT disappointed! We were greeted with a friendly face. Another party of 3 walked in right behind us and there was no one else in the restaurant. We got menus and waters right away and received our food pretty quickly. Our order:Egg rolls - I feel like these were tasty enough, nothing drastically different than what I've had in other restaurants Yellow Curry - if you like your yellow curry on the slightly sweeter side, this is for you! It's absolutely delicious, packed with flavor and veggies (squash and bell peppers?! yes please!) It was enough for my husband and I to share. Pad Thai - I like my pad thai with wider noodles and less orange (I believe they're typically orange because of food coloring to make them more appetizing for people, but I prefer it without). I still thought it was pretty tasty though. We finished all of itWe are very excited to have tried it and will absolutely go back! I would say the food is a solid 4 star and the extra star just came from how friendly the man was who served us (not sure if he's the owner or not). We will 100% be back!z"
"Thai Curry House is so tasty that I will go out of my way when visiting the Twin Cities just to eat here. Although a native West Coaster, I know live on the Iron Range, and getting to eat a variety of good ethnic food (Thai being a favorite) is at least a good 2.5 to 3-hour drive for me now. Even with all of the options the Twin Cities area presents, I will ALWAYS opt for this place if I'm craving Thai. I love the consistency of the food being amazing, the comfortable ambience, the friendly staff, and of course, the free parking. Favorites? Tom Kha Coconut soup and Massamun Curry (chicken). The Spicy Noodles and Spicy Thai Basil Fried Rice are HUGE winners, too. Come hungry, because the portions are huge, and I am here for all of it! An interesting thing of note is that on all of my visits, I have never been asked for a spiciness preference level. Yet, the food always comes out delicious and at a perfectly spiced level. My young son, who does not like spicy food at all, has loved every dish (advertised as non-spicy) he has tried here. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the portion sizes. I honestly cannot sing enough praises about this restaurant, and I hope to always be able to visit when I'm in the area. Thank you for giving this West Coaster a taste of all of the good (ethnic) restaurants I'm missing!"
"Jasmine Thai was a perfect and delicious lunch today! I enjoyed the green curry (lunch portion) with chicken, spring rolls with shrimp, and cream cheese wontons. The service was very friendly! I ordered to-go and didn't have to wait too long until it was ready. Cool place!"
"Been here 4 times and finally decided to review. Their food is authentic Thai!! I've tried a handful of things by now, and today I just tried my new favorite. Their Tom yum with red snapper was so good. And their shrimp larb salad is refreshing. The Tom Zaab is also a good option (with pork ribs). Definitely try it! The staff are super nice (except the older man). Love that it's always busy! Proves it's good!!! Plenty of seating as well to accommodate groups."
"Omg the best Thai food in the area I have had so far. The service was exceptional and very professional and so polite. The ambiance is outstanding with dim lighting and Thai temple like vibe. Honestly I felt welcomed and honestly a part if the Thaiwanese culture. It was remarkable and honestly the best experience I have had by far with a authentic Thai restaurant. Thanks so much for an amazing experience."
"Thai Table is a short walk from the office I visit in Plymouth a few times a year. I've been here a few times now. It's really a nice place to grab some Thai. Nothing over the top fantastic, but always a good experience. I tend to get the Drunken Noodles when I go, which are really good. I've had them with pork and, on my most recent visit, tried them with the mock duck. Even better! Those spring rolls in the photo I uploaded were particularly good too. It's a no-frills place. Nothing fancy but doesn't need to be. Service has always been friendly and attentive. Its proximity to the office and overall dependability have made it a go-to for now on work trips."
"This place was amazing. Staff is attentive and surprisingly fast. The place was 3/4 full when my daughter and I arrived to sate our Thai desires. We had the chicken satay, jalapeño wontons, Tom Kha soup, Gang Ped Yang (curried duck), and ...something else... we were tying on the feedbag. The drinks were on the table before we thought about them again and the whole meal began showing up shortly after. Blazing fast service and food that was plentiful and better than we expected. Delicious.Be sure to leave space for our return. We'll be back to try the Pad Bai Horepa. See you there soon!"
"I made a rather large delivery order as it should last for a few days. I ordered #20 Laab Esan with pork, #11 Cream Cheese Wonton, #5 Chicken Satay, #4 Sue Egg Rolls, #24 Red Curry w beef, and various sauces I'm saving the laab and curry for later. Everything was quite scrumptious. The satay was a little dry, but it's hard to expect different when it's delivery. It tasted great still with plenty of the peanut sauce -- I ordered extra. Only 2.5/5 on this. It's probably 5/5if you're dining in. The cream cheese wontons were stuffed really full with warm soft cream cheese, delightful with the sweet chili sauce. 5/5The egg rolls were just HUGE - surprisingly excellent texture after delivery: still hot and crisp. I had to eat mine with knife and fork it was so large. Also used the sweet chili sauce. 4.5/5 on the egg roll. Price including delivery and tip was $60! This effectively 4 good-sized meals. I will be ordering from Sawatdee again!Sawatdee kha!"
"I was on the lookout for the best fried rice in the Twin Cities and I've found it! I've heard great reviews about their fried rice before so I had to try it for myself. Went to this restaurant a week ago and am ready to go back already!I ordered their Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice and the flavors blew me away!! The pork belly was crispy and the fried rice, just wow (honestly lost for word because of how great it was). I would highly recommend this or their Thai Holy Basil Fried Rice. The service was slightly slow but understandable due to how busy they were. The food definitely made up for the slow service. The bathroom is located downstairs (unisex). Decent size and well maintained. Well stocked on toilet paper, paper towel and hand soap!Cannot wait to go back there!"
"I've been meaning to try Lotus Leaf for a while, and I can't believe it took me this long! I got takeout and the food was so fresh and made to order, it was still piping hot when I got home. I tried the wonton rolls, egg rolls, and garlic beef stir fry. I loved every bite, and it made for amazing leftovers!"
"This place is a must go get up of your a$$ and try this place out. The prices here won't break your pockets and the food is bomb! It's a small mom and pops owned for 26 years! I had gotten the green curry here and the spicy chicken wings. Both was good and made it to go home also... My buddy got the laarb and basil fried rice, which came out looking bomb and good portions. Let me tell ya... the laarb was only about 13 BUCKS!!! It came with sticky rice and a soup!. I thought the soup was going to be small, but it came out like a regular soup with meat in it dammit. I didn't get no pictures because I was just ready to eat. I'LL FOR SURE BE BACK!!!!"
"YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM! This was my first (definitely not last) authentic Burmese cuisine experience. I'm glad to report this restaurant is family owned and operated and really felt as such. The service was sweet and friendly and the food was sooo good. And the prices?! Another big win for them.We ordered:Pickled Green Tea Leaf salad $6.95Century Eggs with Chinese broccoliGolden Egg Curry in tamarind sauce $6.95The pickled green tea leaf was so light yet full of flavor and texture. I pretty much ate a dozen eggs on my visit here but ya girl ain't complaining! The golden egg curry was different from any egg dish I've had before and it was full of flavor and not too salty which I like. The century eggs were also a first for me. They look kind of offensive... but also really pretty at the same time, kind of like a geode or dinosaur egg?! The best part - it tastes amazing! They are fried but the yolk is soft in a creamy way, not runny. I'm so happy about my first Burmese cuisine experience, I want to introduce it to all my friends!"
"Excellent Thai food!!! Sawatdee is kind of a Thai landmark in town, everyone knows it. The food is delicious and just what you're looking for to get that authentic Thai flavor."
"My husband and I came here for a quick dinner on our way to curling one Thursday evening and wanted to try to find a new Thai place with good food.We tried the Coconut Shrimp and Crispy Salad to start and then shared Chicken Red Curry for our meal. Every dish was very good and we liked the spice caddy on every table! The only feedback I'd have is that we purposely got our curry "mild" so we could separately add spice (my husband likes it hot and me not so much). But even at mild it was a little too hot for me to truly enjoy or appreciate the nutty warm flavors. For how great the food was the service was just OK. There was one person working that we could see and while she only had five or six tables, the service was very slow and borderline inattentive. Other than that we'd probably try it again to see if it was an anomaly."
"Made a delivery order for two things and had polar opposite opinions on them. First was the Pad Thai with beef, pork, and chicken. I had several issues with this dish. I really wish I'd just gotten it with only chicken - the beef was pretty bland but the pork was just awful. It was chopped up bits of bbq pork like you might find in a Chinese pork fried rice, but which was not what I was expecting a pad thai dish. What was really unappetizing was that half the bbq pork was just inedible bits of fat that had to be spit out. As for the dish itself there was way too much fish sauce, almost no bean sprouts, and oddly it came with a lemon wedge instead of a more traditional and better tasting lime. This was not something I enjoyed and I would not order it again. For flavor I'd give this thing a 2 or 3, but dropped down to a 1 given that it had inedible blobs of unrendered fat that had to be spit out while eating.Which left me very shocked to find how delicious the egg rolls were. Wonderfully crispy on the outside, very well seasoned and flavorful in the middle with ground pork and a mix of veggies. 5 stars for these, and the only reason this review is getting 3 stars on average.I would go back here just to get egg rolls, but given how little I enjoyed the Pad Thai I'm not sure I trust spending money on trying anything else at this point."
"Amazing! Great little place to eat. Food came so fast and very nice people work here. We got the egg rolls which came with a sauce, not sure what it was but it was delicious. The pad Thai was great! I did the spicy level 2. Next time I will up it a level or two as I love spice. Excellent price. I will be back again!"
"A friend of mine recommended this spot and let me tell you this place is a Hit. Everything was fresh hot and flavorful. The service was great and very attentive. I didn't try the sushi but I will be back to give it a shot. All the sauces were fire as well."
"Good location, easy to find, easy to park, Went there right before dinner time so was not as busy. Servers were friendly and foods came out quickly. The foods were gooood! Will definitely go back and try other dishes."
"Highly Recommend this quaint little restaurant! Came here on a Saturday night with family & the food did not disappoint. Our favorites that we ordered: 1) Fresh Spring Rolls (Pork & Shrimp) 2) Cream Cheese Wontons3) Chicken Pad Thai - Spice Level 2/54) Pineapple Fried Rice - Pork5) Panang Curry - ChickenWe also ordered the Thom Kha Soup -Chicken but not our favorite & probably would not order again. The staff is super friendly and service is quick. Many people were picking up or ordering take out and not so many dining in. We will definitely be back to try more from their menu."
"I highly recommend this Thai restaurant. When you first walk in, you instantly notice that this is a restaurant the owners take pride in. It is simply and beautifully decorated with lots of natural light and plentiful seating. The back of the restaurant has a few parking spaces (like 10) and can get pretty busy so come early. We opted for street parking since there was no parking when we got there. We ordered nava, spring rolls, and egg rolls to start. The nava is more jelly based than tapioca based. However they add in additional flavoring (probably palm sugar instead of cane sugar?) that gives it a more exotic flavor. There are also chia seeds. I thought it was very good. The spring rolls were my favorite appetizer there. Perfect proportions of meat, noodle, and veggies/herbs. The dipping sauce was a wonderful blend of sweet and savory. My husband ordered the drunken noodles with medium spice l. It was very spicy (it was Asian spicy, not Minnesota spicy). He was mostly disappointed that it used regular pho noodles instead of the flat noodles. I thought the pork was a bit over cooked, but the flavors were nice in this noodle dish. I couldn't handle much of the spice though.I ordered the stuffed chicken wing paeneng curry and it was the best thing I've eaten in a while. Wonderfully fatty with a delicious blend of sweet, savory and spicy. The coconut milk with the curry flavors were out of this world. The stuffed chicken wing itself had noodles, ground meat, and cabbage stuffing. I thought the stuffing was delicious. The chicken skin gave this dish a variety of texture. I would come back here just for this dish. Everything else is a bonus lol The service and time to get your food was pretty good here too. Can't wait to visit again."
"Incredible improvement - 5 stars!Wow, Ginger Café is so much better than my last visit a couple of years ago! (And it's light years above the older version when the previous owners ran things.) Not only is the food awesome, the place is clean and spotless with a fresh remodel. Nice! The food was good before but it's a step up now. It comes out fresh and lightning fast. They also have options to add spicy heat on a 1 to 5 scale. I really appreciate this because I love heat. Awesome!Do you see the bright colors of the vegetables in my photos? That's a sign of fresh made Asian food...not overcooked junk...like the crap that was served up at the China Dragon in Elk River yesterday. This isn't a fancy restaurant. It's nice but simple, basic, humble, and clean. The prices are reasonable too. This isn't a place where I'd necessarily drive way out of my way to visit. But if you're in the area and craving Asian cuisine, this should be on the top of your list.Thumbs up!-Daddy Maxx Retro"
"The green curry is so good I wanted to swim in it! Loved the Tom Kha soup too! Called in an order and it was ready quickly. There is plenty of space to dine- in, but I took food home for my family after work.I can't wait to go back. That curry was some of the best I've ever had!"
