"This was our first experience in a Minnesota sports bar. The center of the restaurant has a mini ice hockey rink that is full of tables and a wall dedicated to the packers (thought I was in Minnesota!) The menu has all the typical sports bar stuff and most of it was pretty good. I had he Zamboni zinger and it was good. Chicken sandwich with pepper jack on a sourdough bun, good portion and good size for the $$. The Philly was a little disappointing to one of our guys as there wasn't much meat to it, lots of bun but little meat. The fry options were plentiful and I thought it was cool you could have tots for no charge. I had the buffalo fries and for a guy that loves buffalo wings these were a bummer. Skinny and dry, brittle and just so-so. The beer deals were strong and the staff was friendly, if you're in the area and want to catch a game and a bite this would be a decent spot for sure."

I especially love that it smells like Fabuloso, gives it that real authentic Mexican feel. "Pretty standard bowling alley. Nothing special but nothing super negative either. The have quite a few lanes and I went on a Saturday night. It was busy but not overly crowded which was nice. Our lane kept malfunctioning which was quite annoying because someone in our group had to keep going up to tell them every few turns. This made things a bit slower.Some people in the group ordered some food. Artichoke dip was very basic, the wings were a bit soggy, and the pizza was super greasy. I even blotted the pizza but then grease was still running down my hand. I would definitely not go here for the food ever. But, I feel that's standard for most bowling alley's they are not known for the food."

"Stopped for a late dinner on a Saturday, first impressions when walking in was it was SO loud. We were seated at a nice corner booth and a server came by our table shortly. We ordered several apps to share between our group, my favorite was the Nashville chicken sliders. They were HOT but I liked them. The other apps we tried were good, Szechuan green beans, burger sliders, and wings. I'd recommend if your looking for a local watering hole with good bar food."

"We had a great time eating outside & enjoying the weather on the patio overlooking the river. This is my first time visiting family in Hudson and I love this little town already. My niece and her husband have dined here several times and I will definitely come back next time I visit!"

"This place is good and they deserve a good rating. It's incredible to see some of the bizarre reviews on here and the picky BS that some are complaining about. The sound wasn't turned up enough for some guy on some random televised game so he leaves a one star rating? WTF?? What a douche. My wife and I live in Phoenix and were in town for our daughter's wedding and we loved discovering this small town of Glencoe. Everybody was super friendly and accommodating and we fell in love with this small slice of real Americana. We tried a few other restaurants, coffee shops, and bars that were really good but we tend to like darker beers so it was great to discover the Main Street Sports Bar and Grill that has some of our favorites on tap. The service was top-notch and the servers were super friendly. The beer selection was huge, the beer was really cold, the atmosphere was great and the prices were pretty reasonable. There are at least 10 televisions running sports continually and there's memorabilia everywhere from Minnesota teams of course. The cheese curds were great, pizza is good, the wings are good also. The place deserves local support and good reviews - so that people from out of town are not scared away over some petty, ridiculous complaint. Keep up the great work you guys."

Pool tables as well.The clutter on the walls and hanging from the ceiling is in line with all the other small bars whose managers can't say no to their beer reps to ostentatious signs. Junky, Just junky. Also, with no sense of placement. Geez. I got a headache just looking around.The food I have had here is less than mediocre, and served in a basket but at "plate" prices. Really? But still, today I was still celebrating new granddaughter's birth and stopped on my way to Wyoming . Had a favorite beer, and after reading the menu, noticed the fanfare for the cheese curds. " Better than the State Fair's !" You better be able to back that statement up.If I am gonna waste calories on cheese curds, of which I am a connoisseur, they better be stellar, darn it !!! What ?? Identical cheese curds from a machine? The one's I got at a Dairy Queen 15 yrs ago were better! Seriously.At least they had the white cheddar cheese. But unless you LIKE cardboard saturated in oil cheese, get something else.Again, bartender barely interacted with, too busy with 3 men at the bar. Yeah, I've been snubbed by better places than this. "Outstanding Social hour is what great Minneapolis Bar/Restaurants are. Great beer selection and limited, but incredible food. Located in the old coca cola bottling plant, the brick structure has been completely redone on the inside. It is a casual dining experience with twenty something craft beers on tap (they vary constantly), IPA, lagers, Pilsner, sours, fruit, porter, and stout beers. Plus beer in the can if you just have to have that Coors lightFood looks like standard bar food but is anything but ordinary in preparation. Burgers with homemade pickles. Not plain aoli, but blueberry aoli (on my widow maker). Portable or chicken is an option instead. Pizza, salads, specialty sandwiches, and daily specials. All interesting and not ordinary. Staff is attentive and nice, but they could stand having someone more knowledgeable about their beer selections. However they were happy to pour a sample for meThe only other negative was they don't make their own onion rings. Based on how unique the food items are, I was hoping. Still five stars"

I am low key upset I waited so long to try this restaurant. Parking was easy to find, there is a huge parking lot right next to the restaurant. When you walk in, there is an adorable patio with lots of seating, and additional seating indoors. It was pretty empty when we went but it was also around 2/3pm so we came at an odd time. I didn't have a chance to try a cocktail but next time I definitely will! The ahi crisps are a MUST!!! So delicious- my boyfriend is not a fan of any raw fish whatsoever, but this was made so perfectly that he actually loved the dish and said he would eat it again! (Win for me!) that was only the beginning.. We also ordered the Parmesan truffle fries to start. My one year old son LOVED them & we finished the whole basket lol. Then the burgers came, and OMG some of the best burgers in all of the twin cities for sure. I had the turkey burger with avocado & it's the best turkey burger I've ever tried. Ever!!! The sweet potato fries with the dipping sauce was also a hit. My son and I devoured them! My boyfriend's patty melt was incredible.. "Something about the dark wood bar and floors intrigued me about this place. You could tell the Loon Cafe has been around and is a staple in the downtown community for many years. It was slammed after the Twins game but I luckily found one of the last spots at the bar. The bartenders were quick to make drinks and take food orders. Mine even made a few recommendations. I ordered the beef nachos and the Pinto's Diablo chili. Yes it was a lot of food but I was told their chili is excellent so figured I'd give it a try. It was excellent. I can tolerate heat but this wasn't burn your lips off spicy: it was the spicy that had a hint of sweetness behind the heat. And since chili absolutely should contain beans (much to the ire of my fellow Texans) Minnesota chili has kidney beans in it. Buttered Texas toast came on the side for dipping (or not). The chili was a meal itself. The nachos were just plain huge. There was no shortage of meat and cheese and it came accompanied with a generous helping of guacamole, sour cream, and salsa. Despite being packed after the ball game the staff here stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park with the food and service (baseball pun intended)."

Woman behind the bar-Claire- replaced my Tito's sofa for the spicy margarita. Claire was welcoming and gracious and didn't bat an eye. She was so great- hospitable but not too chatty.The spicy margarita was not too sweet (I hate sweet margs) and the habanero simple syrup gave it a pleasant kick. The tajin on the rim gave the whole thing complex flavor. My first time here and I will DEFINITELY be back. Ambiance was laid back."

"Whenever I get a chance to travel, I almost always have to try some local food! Came here for lunch yesterday and boy was I in for a treat! Cheese curds- Some of the best cheese-curds I have ever had! The cheese was delicious and the way they batter them, oh boy!! Crunchy and consistent with each bite! I also loved how the cheese was actually the kind of cheese you can pull, check the pic haha. Although I am not a local and some might feel my scale for "good cheese curds" maybe skewed, this fat boy sure knows food! Food you can have fun with? Yes!4 piece broasted chicken meal- Boy was I amazed by this broasted chicken! The skin was light, yet crispy. Normally I like a thick breaded fried chicken, but I was blown away with this. Although this was thinly coated, it had a consistent and satisfying crunch and crisp to it. The seasonings were on point and flavorful. The chicken meat? My gosh it was juicy! So juicy that it put dirty thoughts in my head with each bite kind of juicy. The mashed potatoes were definitely made from scratch. It had that home style chunk and creamy consistency one can appreciate with proper mashed potatoes. Last but not least, the gravy! The scratch made gravy paired with the chicken and mashed potatoes so well. Normally I like to enjoy my chicken with some hot sauce, but for this meal, I ate it straight up and appreciated the work put into this meal.The Caramel Pecan Sticky bun. Oh lord I just died and went to diabeetus heaven. It was unlike anything I have ever had before. They have a soft cinnamon bun, topped with a monster amount of homemade caramel sauce with some chopped pecans. I can't explain how heavenly this was. Each bite was just pure perfection! Next trip I am definitely enjoying two for myself and two more to take home haha.The service was absolutely on point. I did not get our waitresses name, but she was just absolutely a gem to deal with. Very friendly and very attentive. Making sure everything we needed was taken care of and overall pleasant dining experience. She putMe on to their chicken and waffles, so another trip is in order before I leave and whenever I am traveling through again. We drove in from Minneapolis and I must say, WORTH THE DRIVE!And this why mom and pop businesses need our support!"

It's on the front street strip so parking sucks sometimes but using either of the ramps just makes for a little walk but much easier time finding a parking spot."
