"I was here recently, and it is a place I would definitely go back to. Even though it is only open for take-out they are so worth it. From when I placed my order to getting my food took like 12 minutes, but I enjoyed my experience. Not only was the lady really friendly, and carefree, but the food was definitely filling. I was surprised at the amount of food with my sweet and sour chicken entree, especially for the price I paid for it."
"Drakes Fine Food & Spirits is an inconspicuous bar and restaurant attached to senior apartments near Country Manor in Sartell. It's a bit hard to see as it's tucked into a corner behind a parking garage. Follow the signage for parking. It's a nice concept - having a nice restaurant near senior housing, apartments and assisted living, so that family members have a place where they can take their loved ones for a decent meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with wood and stone. There are a couple of televisions, above the fireplace. There's a bar. There's a separate room, if you want a gathering space for your family for a special event. The menu is pretty extensive - burgers, wraps, breakfast, steak, chicken, salads, sandwiches, soup, and more. We ordered a Rachel sandwich and a breakfast wrap. Both were tasty enough. My fries were a bit soggy, and the crust on the marbled rye bread was overly crisp. The hashbrowns served with the wrap were nice and crisp. Our server provided attentive and friendly service. The restaurant is small and intimate. This is nice, unless you have some loud talkers seated near you (as we had). Their loud talking made it very difficult for my beloved and I to have a decent conversation and be able to hear. All in all, Drakes is a nice option to have. The food was better than I expected. I'd certainly give it another try. They do offer daily specials, and on occasion, have live music."

"Stopped for a late dinner on a Saturday, first impressions when walking in was it was SO loud. We were seated at a nice corner booth and a server came by our table shortly. We ordered several apps to share between our group, my favorite was the Nashville chicken sliders. They were HOT but I liked them. The other apps we tried were good, Szechuan green beans, burger sliders, and wings. I'd recommend if your looking for a local watering hole with good bar food."
"The good: they had a section on menu specifically for vegetarians. This is nice because it gives confidence that the beans aren't made with lard. Also the staff was friendly and attentive. The bad: the vegetarian meals were markedly more expensive than comparable meat options, with the only difference being they didn't include the meat ingredient.I ordered a combo that included a bean burrito, quesadilla and chalupa. The burrito was fine but nothing special. The chalupa had lettuce and avocado and beans and was probably the best item if only for the fresh toppings. The quesadilla was uninspiring with no toppings or sauce and the filling only of cheese that wasn't fully melted. My partner got a combo that included a chile relleno, quesadilla, and rice. The rice was plain as was the quesadilla and there was no lettuce, quac or cilantro--nothing green. The chile relleno as also was plain but did have a filling and a sauce. These combos were $14.99.Our third friend had chicken fajitas and he also got a chalupa. He loved it. What is annoying is that the vegetarian options were noticeably MORE expensive despite being the same as meat option except without meat! Most of the near combos were $10.99!!! This makes no sense as the most expensive ingredient is meat!"
"Food was delicious and generous portions. Staff was incredibly friendly. Went to Sauk Rapids location to catch some live music!"
"A hidden gem in St Cloud! We stopped here on our way through St Cloud and we were absolutely blown away. The owner was there and he gave us samples since it was our first time! Everything was so amazing, it was hard to choose what to order! My boyfriend went with the Pork Ribs (Costillas de Puerco) and it was honestly some of the best food we've ever tasted. These ribs are a labor of love, made special each day. The salsa on them really was (like the owner said) the best we had ever tried! Both pozoles we tried were also unbelievably flavorful. I got the Barbacoa Tacos and we split the Birria Tacos. The barbacoa was absolutely amazing, I could eat ten more tacos any day. They also make their tortillas by hand and you can tell; they are so much better than the bagged kind. The service was top tier, the food was incredible and the prices were very reasonable. If you're in St Cloud, make this a stop on your trip!"
"Indoor fireplace, outdoor seating, large table for group, and lots of cozy seating. Owner and staff seem happy to be there and interact. Variety of baked goods to tempt a variety of appetites. Right now showing works by 2 artists."
"Panera on $15. A very wise store manager took a chance on me and hired me as a a baker. As a result of that I enjoy Being a baker with Panera. We get $15 for a food allowance for every shift. I have tried many different sandwiches and delights along the way. This week's sandwich is the Chicken Frontera added Parmesan cheese but that's it. This sandwich features, in my opinion, the franchise's best bread: the focaccia. Also it featured my favorite sauce: Chipotle. Also the smoked chicken. Ambiance is fast casual and the production is rather quick. However, this is not fast food. Cone on in and try a pick two. I've tried 3 soups and all were very good."
"We did take out online which was very easy to navigate. First time eating here and wish I tried it sooner since I pass by on 85th all the time. The price and portions are great. You get so much food! My iced coffee was delicious and very strong. The Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio was so fresh, pork & shrimp cooked perfect, and the dipping sauce ties it all in together. The egg roll was soooo good. Outside had such a nice crunch and lots of filling. My husband enjoyed his fried rice and they made it spicy like he had requested. Definitely will be coming back and hopefully can dine in next time!"
"My phone map listed it as a lunch option. I picked it for the name. This was a winner. Nice sandwich shop. Hardy and warm sandwiches are available, not just cold cuts. I had a French dip with Swiss cheese and it was perfect. They have french fries that are cooked to order and they cook to perfection. The counter man noted my Angels baseball cap and tee and asked about my team, then told me about his (it is opening week of the baseball season.). It felt like a genuine care for connecting with his customers. He demonstrated that same genuine friendliness with everyone that came in while I was there. Everything was clean including the tables and booths. I love when food places have clean tables that are not at all sticky! I didn't look for or try a bathroom. I was reading a book and the counter man came by and took my tray even though there is a self serve trash can available and I had no expectation that anyone would take my trash for me. Oh, and did I mention how fast they were? All in all, this was worth the 19 minute detour I took to come here."
"We've been here a few times for breakfast now, as it's one of our favorites in the Savage/Shakopee area. There is a lot of seating, the dining area is nice and spacious and the wait usually isn't too bad compared to other, smaller places around. There are a lot of great options on the menu and I've tried to change it up with each visit. My faves are definitely the spinach brie frittata and the shredded beef jalapeno omelette, but they're all awesome and y'all should go here if you're craving an amazing breakfast that'll fill you up! And the hashbrowns are the absolute BEST in the south metro area, hands down! The staff can get a bit overwhelmed at times but always come through in the end"
"Want to add History and a little culture to your morning? The quintessential small town America restaurant. Slow down and enjoy a great breakfast. Local service preserving their heritage. Plan on the Last Saturday of the month to enjoy a serving of Æbleskiver. Not fast food but good food."

Shanghai Chan Chinese Restaurant would have gotten 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that they got my order wrong. I order the house lo mein and when I opened up my bag, I realized they gave me the house fried rice ($5.75). I never like to waste food and go back to correct an order, so I just ate it all up. The fried rice tasted great, but there wasn't very much meat in it at all...so much for the "house" part. I also order a small egg drop soup ($2.50) and that was just what I needed on a chilly evening. The place was small, but clean. I also thought it was an awesome "daughter/father" duo dynamic in the restaurant. The daughter taking the orders and the father making the food in the back. I will definitely be back here to try one of their lunch specials!

Drake's is a very odd location inside an apartment/elder care complex. Other than that, the interior is somewhere between a bar and a standard restaurant.Food was just mediocre. The Wild Rice Cranberry Turkey Sandwich was OK, nothing stellar. Comparable to something you'd make yourself at home, while served with a very underwhelming sized side of sweet potato fries. Not something I'd give a ringing endorsement, but could probably do worse.

Checked out this spot on a whim when I was in the area because it has a decent rating but was unfortunately underwhelmed. The service and cleanliness were mediocre. The waitress was not very attentive or welcoming. Our table and seats still had crumbs on them, and the windowsill was dirty. The saving grace was the burger I got- the BLVD burger. It was one of the best burgers I've had and the flavor was fantastic!

This is my go to Mexican food spot! The prices are reasonable, the food is amazing, the service is usually top notch, the drinks are delicious and they offer Coke Zero which is my fav if I don't get a margarita. The chimichangas are perfect, and they have a great lunch portion that's cheaper vs. dinner prices. My son loves the kids combos here too. They have a nice outdoor patio and plenty of seating options.

I met friends here for coffee, I found it to be a bit more expensive than my normal but I was very pleased with the flavor and the personal service by the manager assuring we were enjoying our visit. I was very happy to find interesting Ethiopia pastries. It's a warm and welcoming place and was a nice way to spend the worming with friends. I hope to come back when the patio is open, and ideal setting.

Good food but pretty pricey. Always remember to check your order, especially in the Drive Thru, as 90% of the time something will have been left out, which is naturally very frustrating.

"When you ask for spicy you get spicy here! I was dying but everything was delicious. Menu is small but they have all your main classics. It's seat yourself. Good thing we came on a weekday and it wasn't too busy inside but there were a lot of take out orders so we had a feeling we made the right choice dining here. Would definitely come back and try the other dishes."
"This place is pretty decent! A lot of the food is very reminiscent of the typical American-Chinese food you find everywhere, but they simply execute it better than most. The Singapore Chow Mei Fun is VERY good, and well worth ordering. I don't think I'd ever tried it before but it's basically thin noodles and curry with a variety of meats (shrimp, chicken and pork maybe) and a little spice. Yum! I also ordered the General Tso's and Kung Pao chickens "Extra Spicy" and it was medium at best... but I ordered Chicken and Garlic Sauce "Medium Heat" and my girlfriend thought it was hot. She's a wimp though, so it was probably also medium. In any case, not very spicy-- kind of a bummer. Also, half of my General Tso's had soggy breading and half of it was crispy. I think this is typical from them, as I remember that being a complaint before too. Sauce is good though, and so are the portions. Egg Rolls are fairly meh. The Singapore Chow Mei Fun is bomb though, so 4 stars it is!Picture time!"
"Been here 3/4 times now. Really good Banh Mi sandwiches, excellent fried rice, and interesting cranberry cream cheese wontons. Large portions, watch out for big slices of jalapeño peppers in the sandwiches, they carry some heat. Not sure if they make the bread or purchase it from a good baker. Perfect texture for a Banh Mi sandwich."
"Everytime I've visited, i've always loved this place. It's super cute, love the environment, and they have indoor and outside seating. The food has always been hot, fresh, AND fast! The wait staff is always so kind and polite and very attentive when you need anything, they don't leave you hanging ever. I think it's awesome for a date night or even a girls night with it not being super tiny. Kinda shocked that whenever i've stopped in it's never too busy seeing i've never had a poor experience here. It's definitely a spot to try with having food business hours too!"
"Went for lunch, note they are really only open 11-2pm for corporate lunch. The arepa was delightful. Chicken was juicy and flavorful, beans were satisfying, warm, and mild. Avocado was generous, and pickled onion was a delightful sour/tangy addition. The arepa bread was warm, soft, and a great portion. The staff i interacted with was super friendly, welcoming, and very helpful! He guided me through my first order with the topping combo he said i would enjoy, and he was very right! The hot sauce could stand to be hotter, but it had good flavor, and hot sauce if a very subjective, personal thing lolVibe: Great space, felt intimate despite being in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the corporate skyway. Hopefully the tenants of the condos and other downtown neighbors visit and eat so they can expand their hours. It would be so nice to have a choice that is more than pancakes and ham and cheese croissants (not knocking them, just like more options)."
"The biggest problem with this restaurant is that it is located in Minnetonka and I live in Saint Paul. If it was closer to me, I swear I would be there on a weekly basis.Years ago, I backpacked through Asia and ate a number of Buddhist monasteries that served only vegan food. Thanh Luong reminds me of those places. The staff was super helpful at walking through the menu and picking out an assortment of items, including appetizers and desserts. It is a unique and flavorful dining experience."
"Looking to kill some time in Anoka while my best was working, I found myself hungry and in need of some tried and true Tex-Mex to satisfy the grumbles within. So I made my way to Casa Rio to do just that!SPACE: The space is large and def offers up all the Mexican vibes. From brightly colored booths, to brightly painted hand carved chairs, and a variety of banners, they have it all. There is a patio out back, bar seating, and booths and tables to accommodate all types and sizes of groups. There's even a few tvs throughout the space to ensure you don't miss your favorite sporting event. BITES: For the main event, I opted for the Southwest Chicken Burrito. The flavor was alright, nothing to write home about. I was expecting shredded chicken, so when the chicken in my burrito was cubed, I was a little thrown off. You do get complimentary chips and salsa, which I gladly munched on. SIPS: While I chose a soda for my beverage on this occasion, they do offer a full bar for those craving something a little stronger. SERVICE: Since I was there around lunchtime, it's safe to say the place was hopping. So I definitely expected a bit of a wait. It did feel like they were more prompt with serving/helping larger groups. Casa Rio was def an "A-OK" spot for my lunchtime needs."
"Simplee the best...I'm Pho realWife: "you should take me on a date night."Me: "where do you wanna go?"Wife: "let's get some pho"So I proceed to browse Yelp, see a couple spots that have a couple of reviews, but I want the real deal cus I've never had Pho before. Found Simplee Pho. Now I didn't know what to expect, I never had Pho before, I told my wife "wasn't it just soup and ramen?" Nope. It's so much more than that.We entered the restaurant with one hour left before closed. They happily greeted us, sat us right away and brought us water immediately. Looking at the menu, I didn't even know it was a Vietnamese restaurant, so I got excited. I glanced at the menu but I didn't want anything I've tried before so I went for the Pho. The spicy bowl. My wife asked for chicken instead of beef and at first the waitress wasn't sure if the cook would do it, but she clapped her hands and said I will ask for you. Came back in seconds and said Yes! He'll do it for you! (She got the same spicy bowl as I did). And I ordered the egg rolls. The egg rolls are loaded, mega egg rolls, loaded with the good stuff, loaded with flavor and after just one bite, all I could do was nod my head and say wow....Not gonna lie, hands down, thee best egg rolls I've ever eaten in my life. When the spicy bowl arrived, I grabbed the chop sticks, grab some beef and noodles and took a bite. first thing out my wife: "WHY HAVENT I TRIED THIS BEFORE?!? WHY HAVENT YOU TOLD ME PHO OS THIS GOOD!?!So I added the Ben sprouts and whatever else they put o the extra plate and added it to my bowl. I ate, I grubbed, I was in food paradise, and I ate some more. When it was all said and done, my wife and I were full, I'm talking full Pho real!!' And we still had a full bowl of spicy Pho left, and my wife even gave me some of her chicken and noodles cus she mainly wanted the broth. So we're beyond satisfied with the service Beyond satisfied with the foodBeyond satisfied with the flavorBeyond satisfied with the amount of foodBeyond satisfied with the amount to take homeAnd we will be backWe do recommendLike Billy Bob from Varsity Blues: I give it a 10!!! I give it a 10!!!My wife says I'm pronouncing Pho wrong (PHOH) and she says (Pha)Fee FiPho Phum, this restaurant is Pho Real, Fee Fi Pho PhumThis place is yum!!I was so full, but when I got home later that evening l, I finished off the whole container I took home, cus it was just that good. There was like this magnetic pull to the flavor screaming eat this pho, man oh man!!! I'm going back!!!"
"Wonderful selections of freshly made breads and treats.Today I had the Chicken Salad sandwich and it was soo delicious and fresh.I really enjoy the tiny hint of spice that was in their mayo.Soo yummy!!Will surely be back for more!!!"
"Had burgers, onion rings and fries, Sam Adams Oktoberfest on tap. All good. Lots of topping choices For the burgers. Lettuce, tomato, onion raw or fried, mushroom, bacon, several cheeses, jalapeños....might have forgot a few. Nice woodsy atmosphere inside. The inside was cozy with lots of " Herman's thru the years" photos on the walls. Bait, gas, boat rentals and cabins. Souvenir t's, sweatshirts, jigs if you are running out."
"Very good sweet and sour shrimp and sesame chicken! Ordered ahead and the made it when I checked in at the window. The fried rice that came with it was a great deal."
"Hidden gem just 1.5 miles from the movie theater. Clean, a bar, and a nice variety of subs, soups, salads. It's a nice option before or after a movie."
"This location had its grand opening today and I was one of the first to try it. For being a new location they were fast. Expos were quick to call our needs and even with just 1 cashier the line moved quickly. I ordered the turkey avocado club and it was so delicious I forgot to snap a pic. The chocolate covered strawberry is always a nice touch. I even was offered samples of soup while going through the line."
"The best subs ever and the price is unbeatable- subway is garbage and if you're stillGoing there pull your head out and get a sub here. Soup is decent as well"
"Excellent food. Spice level 1 is truly not spicy si I loved it. My husband ordered a 3 but he likes real heat so next time will ask for a 5. Samosas were excellent and well as all the other dishes. Ordered ahead and ready when I walked in. Would 100% recommend"
"Favorite breakfast hole in the wall restaurant near MSP. Great brewed coffee, flat top cooked foods, hash browns are done to perfection."
"Cute small town restaurant. Caramel rolls are always my go to here. They sell out super fast though! Great service- usually checked up on multiple times."
"Terrific malts, burgers and onion rings. Portions are Huge. Highly recommend for the whole family. Service is very nice and attentive."
"Very nice restaurant, right behind Target, almost passed it. Was greeted by the staff and sat in the booths. Nice and comfortable seating with privacy, also there are tables for larger families to dine in.I was greeted with chips and salsa along with a nice queso sauce that had a nice spicy hint. I ordered the carnitas platter, which came with rice and beans and salad with guacamole. It was so tasty, came with 4 tortillas to make your own tacos. Very flavorful and crispy carnitas. I noticed there were some optional sauces on the side but wish the dish came with a traditional house made salsa verde instead. To drink I had a Jarrito Tamarind flavor, very classic and paired so well. I was very full by the end and that was a total of 20$ for both. Service was great, the bathroom was very clean, the team was alert at all times. Will definitely come back again to try their mole enchiladas."
"Amazing! Great little place to eat. Food came so fast and very nice people work here. We got the egg rolls which came with a sauce, not sure what it was but it was delicious. The pad Thai was great! I did the spicy level 2. Next time I will up it a level or two as I love spice. Excellent price. I will be back again!"
"Little hole in the wall place, located inside the office complex. If you use maps it will bring you to the front of the building, drive around to the back and you will see the signs for the eatery. They have good soups and sandwiches, the service is great and they usually have a daily special."
"My coworker is slightly obsessed with the Greek salad here. Today, I agreed to see why her love for this salad is so profound. Except for I didn't go with the Greek salad. I probably will next time.I had the strawberry spinach salad and it was perfect! The spinach and walnuts were nicely chopped. The strawberry and mandarin orange added just the right amount of sweetness. The recommended "medium" amount of poppyseed dressing dressed the salad just right for my taste. Nothing can put a damper on a salad like too much dressing. I'll be back for more salads, including the Greek. I'm taking one star off because the setup is disorganized and causes delays. One goes up to a salad chef who makes the salad directly in front of the customer. It's the closest I'll come to a personal chef.Oh, and the salad came with free breadsticks or rolls! Can't say no to those!"
"I walked in as restaurant was closing and they happily took my order. This is a take out only place no in restaurant dining. Food was way better than I expected and honestly probably my number 1 favorite Chinese restaurant. My favorite closed years ago and I've struggled to find a replacement and this place is it!"
