"A nice relaxed place. Good service and an intimidating selection of spirits, particularly bourbon (big surprise). We had a couple smoked bourbon s and whiskeys. My tri-tip with chimmichurri was perfect. Others had sandwiches and other entrees I wasn't privy to due to my face being busy with delicious mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts. Those seem a little bit of an afterthought. The flavors were great, but the sprouts were unevenly cooked, ranging from succulent to tough and undercooked. A fine time was had by all."
"I'm giving two stars rather than one because our hibachi cook, Fred, was nice and did a good job. Prior to arrival I was wondering why the reviews are so low...then we went and I understand.Three of my friends and I ordered "bowl" drinks (so four bowl drinks total). It took about 20 minutes to receive them and when they came, the server said there were only two bowl glasses (in the whole restaurant) so two people had to share their drink from a water pitcher rather than reviving what they actually ordered. This would have been fine, BUT FOR THE FACT that one fish bowl is 44oz. That means two fish bowls are 88 oz. The water pitcher we received was 60 oz if you're not counting the ice. Thus, we were cheated out of approximately 25 oz of what we purchased because the restaurant over promises and can't deliver. The biggest problem is, these drinks cost more than a meal. If you only have two glasses in the entire restaurant, take the drink off the menu.Initially, we called the bartender over to explain the issue. She had a piss poor attitude and said, "There's nothing I can do...I measured two of these drinks into that pitcher." Etc. Very dismissive attitude and was of no assistance. We called over a different manager who ended up bringing over a drink that was approximately 20oz to make up for the loss. This manager agreed that two punch bowls could not fit in the pitcher we were given, especially with ice.Overall, I wouldn't ever spend my money here again and wouldn't recommend that you do either. It's not about the drink itself. It's about the piss poor attitude.0/5 experience actually. And for $70 per person, I might add."

"Surprised it took this long but we finally visited Almadina after passing it for the last few years. It was a pleasant visit and definitely nice to have this in Rochester. Ambiance was nice. Loved the decor and traditional music playing in the background. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Ordered:- Lamb & Beef Wrap (3.5/5). The wrap was a bit dry and meats were pretty fresh. It was smaller than others- Chicken Shawarma Plate (4/5)- Veggie Samosa (4/5). Fresh and hot. This was a good choice and a fun take on samosa / sambusa There's a few other dishes I'd like to try so this is on our list for repeat visits!"
"We absolutely love vinnys! If you are in the new Richmond area and looking for a place that has great pizza and strong drinks make sure you stop here."
"It was an open environment with good food and a TouchTunes machine so rock out and have a drink.Enjoy."
"Food is good. There is care that goes into the menu and presentation to a decent degree. I have only had good meals here--occasionally very good. The things that are bothersome are minor, and speak more to the business mindset than the meal. Personally, I dislike restaurants that choose to make a show of their extra fees for credit card use (near 3% up-charge here). Guess what? The vast majority of diners use physical or digital credit to pay. So if that upsets the business owner, why not build it into your prices instead of making whiners like me feel nickel-and-dimed. I file it under the same category as making the default minimum tip over the age old standard 15% (18% here), or the server standing over you while you enter your tip (yup). Thanks for the social pressure. I'm sure you think we love it.So yes, this is a good restaurant with pleasant atmosphere and good food, but there are a couple things about it that may bother curmudgeonly folk like me. Just don't let those little things make you write critical Yelp review, and you'll be all the happier for it."
"We discovered this new restaurant when searching the area for breakfast. We almost went by it twice as it is in a gas station. It has a full bar and very good breakfast. We actually went there twice as there really isn't much breakfast in the area. I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs the first day and full breakfast the second day. Both were done very well. My partner had eggs Benedict the first day and the full breakfast the second day. They also have lunch and a full bar."
"This is one of those small town gems! Tucked away in downtown Watertown! First visit after many have told me the breakfast and atmosphere at winners! Service is friendly, food is amazing and portions not an issue! Price is beyond fair and it's busy all the time! I got the biscuits and gravy and you can tell it's all made in house! Absolutely amazing! Definitely will be back a lot more! Thanks!"
"Cheers to a magical evening at Forepaugh's! Surrounded by good company and the charm of this historic gem, we're ready to celebrate the season in a setting that feels like stepping back in time. So happy we finally made it to this lovely spot. Make a reservation for your next date night & experience the enchanting historic ambiance of Forepaugh's, where every corner whispers tales from the 19th century. Dine in a beautifully restored Victorian mansion, complete with stunning architecture and elegant decor. Some of the most incredible food I've had in Saint Paul .The service was incredible, very welcoming and generous. Overall, this spot has an incredible ambience and aesthetic. The parking is fairly easy there is valet for $15 or there is a lot that you can pay for right across the street for five dollars."
"I absolutely love the pizzas and salads at Cafe Fusion. Owned and operated by the same folks at Ryan's in this office park, the service and fresh ingredients can't be beat. There are so many ways you can customize your pizza or salad, that sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming as you stand in line. One of my favorite salads is my personal combination, I call it the California Farmer's salad - spinach lettuce, egg, avocado, peppers, sunflower seeds, artichoke hearts, garbanzo beans, and a combination of olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing.I have yet to try their breakfast option they just added, but it's on my list! For my gluten free friends, there is an option for a gluten free crust. This is a great healthy(ier) option in the area! Definitely better than some of even the chop salad places in the Skyway in Minneapolis!"
"Reserved a high top for 4 on Sunday to celebrate my son's 25th b-day. Enjoyed awesome HH specials: 2nd pints for a $1 on all drafts, and cheap apps. Normally HH ends at 5pm, but 3:30p Vikings game kept it going much later. Enjoyed Cajun Steak Bites, State Fair Cheese Curds, Caprese Flatbread, and a killer $10 cheeseburger & fries. Full generous app portions were nice and the discounts were significant. Place was vibrant, with the Vikings game on many large screens throughout. Great attentive service. I highly recommend GN...especially for HH and watching the Vikings through their playoff run."
"My third visit to McGarry's did not disappoint. I couldn't help myself, I ordered the corned beef and cabbage again! It is the absolute best .... and I have enough leftover for another whole meal. The service is really good and the atmosphere is quite authentic. My go-to place west of the cities."

Been here two days in a row to get the same exact meal. The smoked wings are smoky and crispy. Smoked and then flash fried. Love the dry rub as it has a bit of a bite to it also.Great service and don't forget about the tequila old fashion!!! Yep worth it

Almadina serves some incredibly delicious, made-to-order Mediterranean food with very generous portions. You can dine-in at their multiple tables (which are also great for large groups) or get a takeout order--business seemed like half/half the night I dropped by. The dining room was spacious and comfortable.I got their Lamb Kabob Plate, which tasted so delicious. The char and seasonings on the lamb were just right, and the kebab was so juicy and flavorful. The salad and rice were also great additions. The food came out quickly, and the staff were very nice throughout.I got some Baklava to-go too, and those desserts alone are worth the trip. They sell them in pre-packaged containers too, so you can go to the restaurant just to pickup some of them to-go!

Always good to find the great breakfast place when you move to a new area. This is it! Homemade sauces, and breads, large portions- all top notch.

"Mixed feelings about this oddly located, neighborhood dive. This place screams upper Midwest watering hole. Cheap, strong drinks, pulltabs, and conceal and carry classes. You know. The standard stuff. I went in for a quick drink on a Tuesday afternoon durning happy hour. Had a seat at the bar of 7 or 8 stools. Few regulars on both sides of me. Two or maybe three tables sat in the dining area behind me. Bartender was friendly and took my order of whiskey and seven up right away. Drink was STRONG. Even if I was planning on staying for another, I wouldn't have needed it. Bartender conversed with the regulars throughout the duration of the visit. I joined in a little on the conversation. Overall nice group of folks. While I can't say I didn't enjoy my time and it seems to be a decent review, I'm not entirely sure I would go back. Just not my place."
"This is one of those places you might drive by because it doesn't look like a great place or fancy! Well it's one off those small town gems! Their Chinese is outstanding and the breakfast is killer and huge! Definitely recommend getting the stuffed hash browns! They are a meal and a half! Service is solid and the quality of food is fantastic, especially for a small town restaurant!"
"Got together with a couple great friends. They suggested Eli's, as I'd never even heard of it.I feel glad that I was introduced to this wonderful place. The wait staff have a vibe kind of like Pizza Luce: Friendly, hip, and unconventional. The service was stellar, as was the food and drink.I had the Garden Party drink, and it was way too easy to drink. The flavors are balance and refreshing. I love cucumber in drinks (Pimm's & Lemonade), so this really hit the spot.I ordered the Goddess Chopped Salad and Elote. The Elote was ridiculously good. I should have ordered one to go, because I keep thinking about that corn. The salad was a wonderful mix of flavors and textures, as any good chopped salad should be. The dressing was the perfect accompaniment. This is a place I will visit again."
"I don't know what draws me to happy hours. Maybe it's the deal of it -- a bit of a discount to make my dollar go further. More likely it's the idea of it. A happy hour with friends! It's right in the title! I am also drawn to the luxury of it. Happy hours happen early, and so to be a part of one, you have to have a day that allows you to meet and drink with friends in the late afternoon. Yep, luxury to me. Recently I visited again one of my standby favorites, the Bluestem Bar which is off to the side of the French Meadow Cafe. Kind of like a private club, it's interior is warm, inviting, moody and fun. It's an interior design success to have expansive high ceilings and still capture a warm mood and cozy feel. The bar runs the length of the room, the booths are generous, and the space somehow handles sound well enough to be able to catch up with your best friends.Yesterday afternoon, we had drinks (Elderflower spritzer for me--sounds pretty and was very tasty!), and then stayed for dinner. The green curry with rice and salmon was fantastic. Generous, delicious and beautiful. And seriously, the space is so very welcoming and warm. The color is immersive. The Happy hour drink specials (Wednesday: half price bottles of wine; Thursday: half price "BLUE" cocktails; Friday: half price sparkling; Saturday, half price tap beer) are varied. There are also specials on martinis, wine and food!Fries with aioli, "earth wings," plant tacos, and warm baguettes are all on special for starters. My only criticism is that it's easier to find the happy hour specials on their website than in the menu -- an easy fix, I think!I always seem to find parking in the restaurant's lot, to the south of the building. Easy. I will be found hanging out at the Bluestem again."
"Just moved to the neighborhood and this is going to be our new go-to spot for brunch. High-quality farm-to-table fare and cozy whether you're sitting indoors or on the patio. The menu had so many selections that I can't wait to go back and try something new!"
"The grill is our favorite. Friendly, cheerful service. Menu is classic but updated. Nice to be next to the fireplace on a winter evening - except there's a giant screen tv there also which is a bit annoying."
"Great place for happy hour. Special occasions. Wonderful food. Loved the walleye sandwich, pizzas."
"Came back in the fall (have visited in summer 3x now) and service and food are just as great. Highly recommend the ribs on Saturdays. Great place for hunters, ATVers and other outdoorsmen and their lady friends. ;)"
"The Hen & the Hog has been on my list to check out for some time and I finally made a visit for Sunday brunch!Everything about the visit was fantastic. I can honestly say I am most upset with myself for not going sooner and cannot wait to visit again. This very quaint little restaurant is located at the end of a strip mall and has a decent size patio in the front. Upon entry you will notice to separate dining areas with a very warm and inviting family farm theme. One thing that is a bummer is there is no bar space but that's just me - I like bar seating as I often eat out alone. The server was very friendly and sweet. While she didn't really make any recommendations she was very quick to compliment the choices I made. I started with a sake Bloody Mary that was garnished with a beef stick and cheese cube. The mix had a nice consistency and full flavor. For my meal I went with the brunch burger and this thing was lights out. Arguably the best brunch style burger I've had. The cheesy hash browns on it were fantastic and the ham had a slight sweetness that was perfect with the crispy, salty bacon. Also, the egg was absolutely beautiful and had an wonderful yolk. Truly an outstanding brunch experience that will lead to many more visits."
"This is the definition of neighborhood bar. Great food, great service, great vibe: The place is clean. The Patty Melt is delicious, as are the Onion Rings. Buffalo Boneless wings have a sweetness to the hot. Good beer selection. The $0.50 wings deal on Thursdays can't be beat! The server Marie is the best in town. Will be back to try the Pizza and hope to have better luck in Pull Tabs :)"
"Food & service were ok, but the ambiance of a bucket of cigarette butts at the front of the restaurant was disappointing. I'm not sure what the vibe is supposed to be: a nice chophouse or a bar that slings chow on the side. For the prices that they charge here, I was hoping for the former"
"AmericanI was staying in Delano and well, there are just not that many places in Delano so a coworker suggested King House for dinner. The place is somewhat hard to explain - sort of a sports bar feel, and sort of a family restaurant, but however you classify it, they have really good food.Menu is good sized and there are plenty of options to satisfy most people in your party. There even appeared to be some Asian style dishes, which could explain the name. Our waitress was just awesome - and she had a dinner special menu as well. After looking at all the options, we ordered some apps (calamari) for the table and I went with a short rib special they had available. A glass of red and I was off to the races. Again, the available wines by the glass and bottle were somewhat unexpected when looking at the decor and well, the Ancient Peaks Cab hit the spot perfectly. The short ribs arrived and I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised again as the presentation was spot-on and the food was done perfectly - it was excellent and I destroyed it.This place was so good, I ended going back the next night with different co-workers who also suggested it and and the same exact experience. Win-Win for Franco. All I can say is this: if you are anywhere near Delano, make your way over to this place and give it a shot. Parking lot is available."
"Went to Olivia's restaraunt in Owatonna I LOVE her lite plate lunch. Grilled and Tender chicken.. Mmmm. Olivia is Always so sweet and always comes to talk w us when we go in. My grand daughter Raia grew up here from newborn on up now 9yrs old. Her Food is home made and AMAZING."
"This place is amazing. I'm MN native but live in Nash now and always make it a point to go here for the best burgers EVER!! And tap beer. The staff is great and all fam. Love this place!"
"The very best Zuppa Toscana soup I have ever purchased! Can't wait until we are in the area again to see what amazing homemade soup they are selling! Great portion too. My husband and I each had 2 large bowls. And he loves the 100% fruit smoothies too."
"Excellent attentive service by Ingrid. Enjoyed happy hour beer, cocktails and Pinot noir wine. Also had tasty entrees-top notch salmon with flavorful grain medley, pulled pork sandwich with fries and chicken tinga tacos which were on special. Seasonings were on point and portions were large (hello lunch the next day!). Cool setting, a bit loud."
"Absolutely. Hands down. The best place for breakfast in the Hayward area. Yes, it's a little drive. Yes, there is a wait. But it is so totally worth it. Best selection and best tasting for sure. Huge portions, so come hungry. Seriously. That's all."
"Steeellla!Like from the Rocky movie right?Well not really but my friend kept yelling it that way. The establishment is nice. Indoor and outdoor seating. We had a group of 5... well 4 1/2.The waitress was prompt and full of smiles. My review is late in posting but the night we were there everything was great. The pasta was filling. The chicken parmesan hit the spot. It was a huge helping. My husband got their Reuben and his eyes almost popped out of his head. The amount of meat on that sandwich was fantastic. Our friend got the lemon chicken scalappina and I was totally jelly. So yummy. They also got fish tacos. Everything was really good."
"My sister-in-law had her Naturalization ceremony in St. Paul so we wanted a place to eat afterwards. I had heard the Red Cow was known for its burgers so we chose it for Arlin's brother who was in town from Vancouver. Glad we were able to find parking in the small lot! This venue has an outdoor patio which we considered but it was a little too humid. The service - once they made a table for 8 - was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. Cheese curds for the table were a hit!My hubby and niece had the 60/40 burger (beef & bacon) and while they liked it, the candied bacon topping was a little too sweet. The burgers are thick so if you like a beefy patty, these are for you!The grilled cheese I had was the best I've eaten in a long time. Overall a successful outing!"
"Hubby was playing for the NYA Music in the Park series and we all needed a late dinner. Some friends and locals told us to stop here. It was a special treat to have home-cooked meals. The owner knew everyone who recommended this cafe AND she knew what they usually order! I had the steak and eggs-steak was tender and juicy cooked just the way I like it. The American fries were crispy, squishy, and perfect. One of the band guys had the steak and cheese sandwich-he said it was the best he's ever had! Others had an omelet and hamburger. Not a crumb left on any plate. Go to this cafe for sure!"
"DEEP. FRIED. BACON.Need I say more? No, I could stop here and be content with my review. However, just to round this out. The burgers are cooked pretty close to your liking, even if you ask for rare...which I find to be rare in the Midwest, so mos def a plus. There is also a pretty solid assortment of brews to choose from, as one would expect at an ale house. Also, even on a random weekday night, the day or so before Thanksgiving to be precise, we received decent service.Definitely worth checking out... if not just for the glorious DFB."
"My friends and I went here for brunch last month on a Saturday morning and it was a great experience. We walked in and got a table immediately. We sat and put in our drink orders, an old fashioned and a pitcher of their awesome sangria. Both were great.I had the Brisket Grits, which were fantastic. The grits were great, the brisket was moist, and the poached eggs on top were such a great addition. It was unanimous in our group that we all really liked this place. I am definitely going back when I'm in the Minneapolis area again."
"Cafe Renaissance is my type of restaurant. It has all the elements of a great place to dine. It is elegant, has a great selection of quality food, and the service was top notch. - Kudos to our waiter, Sebestian! To top it off we had live piano playing the whole time during dinner, which was so romantic. We enjoyed a lovely dinner here on a friday night. To start off we shared the Meditterrean salad. It was fresh, perfectly marinated with olive oil, and a decent sprinkle of kalamta olives. Then the soups came. I had the delectable, creamy, rice, and filling butternut squash soup. My lovely companion had the vegetable barley soup. Now for the main couse, but oh wait- Sebastian gave us some citrus flavored icey to clear our pallette. I enjoyed every bite of the Guinnes Short Ribs that I could handle. My dear thoroughly enjoyed the Lamb Shank and we both had enough to take home for a second serving. For dessert we had some Baklava. It was a lovely sweet treat to top off the evening. If and when I return to St. Cloud, this restuarant will be at the top of my list. Whether its a special occasion or not. It is just worth it."
