Jamie O. "Really delicious! When they say hot peppers, they mean hot! We enjoyed Chicago dogs, split and Italian combo and fries. The Chicago dogs were full of toppings, authentic Chicago dog flavor! The Italian combo had juicy beef and a well flavored sausage. Definitely will be back... the local fountain sodas were very good! Give them a try!"

Perry S. "Having driven by Dog Park Gourmet Hot Dogs in Chanhassen for two years, I was intrigued. Just hot dogs? How does that work? So we stopped in for what turned to be a pleasant lunch.Entering "Dog Park" in Yelp's search tool is hard to find on Yelp, even after playing with the interactive map. I hope Yelp will expand the search options to include "Dog Park," as this boutique cafe at 7828 Market Blvd. in Chanhassen turns out to be a one-of-a-kind eatery that offers an interesting array of hot dogs and other sausages with all the "fixings." Each item has a canine-appropriate name, such as "Bull Dog," "Chew Toy," and "Dog Catcher". Also on the menu are Italian beef sandwiches, a variety slushies, bubble tea and other tea varieties, lemonade, and juices. They're delicious, reasonably priced, and worth a try. The owner is a pleasant fellow who explained their offerings and happily agreed to a few customizations. Nice customer service. The only complaint I have is the lighting, which casts a purple-blue hue to everything, including the food. Odd for a food establishment, and not very appetizing. I've corrected the color balance on the attached images as best I could. As for this chow hound (sorry, I couldn't resist), I'll definitely be back"

Osan N. "If you are looking for a 5 star establishment from an ambiance perspective. This is not your spot. But if you are looking for some good food at reasonable prices with generous portions, this is your spot.I randomly-ish stopped here and am glad that I did. The person taking my order was attentive and patient with answering my questions. I went with a gyro meal. The meat was nicely seasoned and the serving size was more than enough. The fries that came with were really good also."

Peter S. "Stopped in here thinking I was gonna get a Chicago Dog, and was surprised to see a nice variety menu with WINGS! Yes! I promptly ordered the 20 wing combo to go, and added a large Greek Salad. All that for a little more than $20. I was pretty psyched. The pricing is a little more than Wings 'n Things across the highway at 4th St Saloon, but Pappy's is a BIT more civilized with actual seating and a real restaurant feel, albeit a tad small. The guy at the counter was nice, friendly, and very efficient. Food pickup and the cooks are another matter though. They ran out of cole slaw, but they didn't bother to mention that, even though the menu board PLAINLY stated that all wing orders comes with fries, cole slaw, and bread. Well when I picked up my order after about a 15min wait (I understand cause they actually had to fry them suckers), I inquired about the side items. He informed me that they were out of cole slaw, and did not apologize. The cook proceeded to argue with me that my order wasn't SUPPOSED to come with bread, and that the menu was wrong. WHAT?? It wasn't until his supervisor berated him and he reluctantly grabbed bread from a loaf high up in the shelves and gave me a box of bread. Mind you I'm not a huge fan of Wonder Bread, but it's the principle of the thing you know. Well the food was nice. Not the best, but not the worst. Fries were limp, but edible. Wings were the, "they'll do" variety. So the moral of this story is that typical North Side drama prevails. I must have thought I was over south for a minute. Don't you make the same mistake and have unrealistic expectations of service. Go to Wings 'N Things and call it a day. I'll man up and come back to Pappy's for a Chicago Dog or a Philly, and knock my expectations down a few notches I'll be a'ight."

Mikhala F. "What an awesome spot to gather with friends in Rochester! It's so awesome to see cool stuff like food halls making its way into the city. A group of us gathered here earlier this week, and our experience was exceptional.SPACE: This unique building has been around since the 30s and used to be the workshop for the old Seneca food processing plant across the street. It's got a cool industrial look with the buildings story written on the front entrance wall and relics like the Seneca sign throughout! SEATING: There is SO much seating here, you can easily bring a group and find a spot inside or outside. We opted for the patio with a view of the famous Corn Cob water tower and sunset. The patio is dog friendly too! They do have live music inside often for folks sitting inside.FOOD: There are 3-4 food stalls running which provides several food options to please everyone in the group! I didn't personally eat during this visit, but the salads folks in our group got were massive and looked delish. DRINK: They have an awesome signature cocktail menu at a really affordable price! Many of the cocktails were $10, which is a huge perk coming from the Twin Cities. They have draft and can options as well, plus mocktail offerings.SERVICE: This was truly a highlight - our service was exceptional. The bartender went out of his way to chat with me, help me pick a cocktail, and make me feel welcome. The owner, Kari, also made sure to check in with our group and see if we needed anything. The staff working at each food stall were smiling and welcoming. This is what really sets Workshop apart! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. A great space for date night, with a furry friend, or to bring a group!"

Ted G. "Can you be a hidden gem if you've been named best sandwich shop in Rochester the last 2 years?Townies has that "hidden gem" feel to it. It is tucked away in the clubhouse of the Soldier's Field golf course - not a place you stumble across, rather a place you intend to get to. And people should intend to get here. The bartender, who took my order, was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I sat and watched him greet folks and introducing new customers to the restaurant. He makes a great first impression. I ordered the All-American, a steak sandwich with onions, bacon and American cheese. Nice lean meat and the cook let the American cheese melt through the steak rather than rush it out. The fries were good and served with malt vinegar. The roll is on the crunchy side rather than a soft roll but it totally works. Keep in mind that Townies is a bar. The ambiance isn't romantic but friendly and fun. They offer paper and electronic pull tabs, a pool table and plenty of TVs to enjoy whatever game is on tap."

Chris W. "In a nutshell: Great food, super small portions, kinda pricey.I've been here a handful of times now. It's a cute little family owned place. The indoor seating is larger than it looks, and the outdoor seating is nice too. The service has always been pretty good. The bad: The sandwiches don't come with any sides. None at all. When they bring out your $9 brisket sandwich, it's only the size of a McDonald's Happy Meal hamburger - I'm not kidding, it's really that small. And there are no sides with it. None at all. Those cost an extra $2.50 each. The food is super good though, and all hand made, rubbed, and smoked on-site. Just know what you're getting in to and be prepared to spend a little more than you normally would. It's worth it! The ice cream is also great on a hot day."
