"Check out this fun shop on Hwy 123 in Sandstone. Find collectibles, handcrafted items, and refurbished furniture.Right now it's cash and carry, but other options are coming."
"I have driven by this place a million times and had NO IDEA they had a little coffee/lunch counter inside until a recent Yelp search alerted me to the fact?! My husband and I had a very nice lunch here, I loved my grilled cheese and soup, plus picked up some day old peanut butter chocolate chip cookies (YUM) and some nice lattes to fortify ourselves before a Target shopping run. There is a LOT to see here aside from food and this is a great gift shopping spot. I will absolutely come back here when I am in the area next time!"
"We were greeted immediately by an absolutely bright and charming man who welcomed us to the store and told us about some holiday specials they had going on. It was small business Saturday so the shop was very busy and tough to navigate. The smell in the store is heavenly and they have a wonderful selection of the Thymes fragrances and collections. The merchandise includes gifts, decor, body fragrances/soaps/lotions, food items, and more. The Copper Pony not only fills a void in the marketplace but it brings an elegance to the downtown St. Cloud area. I wish them lots of success!!"
"Had a wonderful experience! Found the perfect baptism gift for my nephew- something elegant that he can treasure for a lifetime! I also found that they carry many products that donate proceeds back to some great causes- love to give back and shop local whenever we can! Looking forward to finding many more treasures in the future! #LifetimeCustomer"
"If you like rustic, country, shabby chic types of decor you will love this place. They also offer things like hand made soaps, jams and candles etc too. Lots of things to choose from here and they change their decor with the seasons and holidays as well. The staff is also helpful and friendly. Love this charming little store."
"Well what the heck! I can't believe I've walked by this adorable store so many times without stopping in, or honestly even knowing it was there. Curiosity is across the street from Young Joni and Dangerous Man, and it is a lovely little place! When we entered, we were greeted by an employee. Not even just greeted; he also struck up friendly conversation. Nice! Literally! The store is small but mighty, boasting very eye-pleasing house wares, gifts, decor, and more. I was mostly interested in and impressed with their plant holders/pots, local and mindful infant toys, care packages for new mothers, dinnerware, wall decor, and other pretty little things made by local artists. I thought the prices were very reasonably considering the items were mindfully curated and mostly locally sourced. I really look forward to coming back and shopping here once we get settled in our new home. The friendly employee (or maybe owner??) said that they rotate their inventory often. He also said that they don't have a ton of local clout (hence me neglecting them this whole time), so stop in and tell them you saw them on Yelp!"
"I bought new furniture back 4 years ago and I still had a credit. And they still honored it. They're very honest. Nicely run store.Brook and Matthew we're working in both friendly.Brooke waited on meAsking the right questions. What color is your furniture? It blends in beautifully everything. I thank you so much.Brooke, you really went out of your way for me. You really didn't I appreciate that. Kindness and professionalism."
"This place is a wonderful and delightful place to visit...not only because of all the wonderful gifts and home decor you can find, but also because the owners and who are working at the store are SUPER friendly and genuinely appreciate your patronage. The items they carry vary seasonally and is there really fun stuff, they merchandise it in a great way that helps you envision it in your own home or cabin. (It's not just home decor...LOTS of great things for yourself and to buy as gifts). I highly recommend Modern Barnyard and a great way to support local."
"If you like to 'go local' you must go to this store! What a wonderful local shop! With witty personalized card options, you're sure to find something for every occasion and personality! The store Doesn't just have hilarious witty cards, but gifts for all occasions! With a friendly delightful staff, warm, welcoming vibes you'll enjoy every moment in this lovely shop!"
"My friend & I did the 30 minute Dry Salt Therapy Session. It was only $20!!!I highly recommend it.The shop is adorable & well stocked with neat merchandise."
"This gentleman has a very interesting collection, and whoever did the displays, they did a great job. Plenty of neat antique signs, folk art and gadgets, plus lots of great conversation pieces to be found. The prices are right up there with the coolness of the merchandise."
"Cute shop! Though I love the Independence, MN, location better because it's in an old creamery building out in the country so it's bigger with more nooks and crannies to explore. This spot is a nice fix closer to home with super cute home decor made out of found objects and antiques. I found most of their prices spendy, but I am more of a do-it-yourselfer/ crafty type. I still found lots of great ideas! I even bought an old pill bottle and have a list of a few other items I will go back to get, budget willing. My Mom got a peony type flower made out of old sewing patterns! Super cute! Our other fave ideas were old coffee carafes as planters and Ball jars painted metallic! They also have the old-fashioned milk paints for sale or for classes which antique wood nicely. Definitely check this store out!"

This was an unexpectedly cute find with specialty food items and local goodies. I bought a B.E.A.R. (blackberry, elderberry, apple, red raspberry) jam and a package of wild rice to bring home. There's also a neat cafe with soups, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and a variety of coffee and tea offerings. I was excited to try the namesake wild rice soup. It was pretty bland but was pepped up with the addition of the very salty croutons. The turkey apple brie panini was on the sweeter side with a nice melding of flavors.Worth popping in for a casual lunch or perusing when in the area. Grab a slice of fudge on your way out!

I went to the Copper Pony for the first time last week after seeing their "ladies night out" event advertised. There was complimentary wine and small desserts and Chex mix, so why not?! This store is a unique gift and decoration store. It's the place you go when you need a gift for your mom, your significant others mom, or a friend at work. They have a lot do cute home decor, hilarious and witty cards, and some fun food items that you always see at gift shops like dips and spreads. They also have tons of Christmas decorations! They also had some kitchen stuff too. The prices aren't too bad, I've seen much worse at other cute gift shops. I would return again next time I need a gift for someone who is hard to buy for. This place is a great addition to downtown Saint Cloud.

If you are a fan of the shabby chic decor this is a must see destination! The Round Barn has new & old home/garden decor along with antiques, furniture, foods & more! You can't possibly see everything they have to offer in one loop around the barn...and yes, it is actually a round barn...painted bright red so you can't miss it from the main road. They change out the decor according to season so make sure to stop by & stock up on your favorite holiday items.Check out their website at www.roundbarnpottingco.com.

It's a couple days before Christmas and we all know someone who needs a last minute gift so here's hoping to save someone a little bit of stress by recommending this store!I have found stocking stuffers, birthday presents, and housewarming gifts. They do have a good selection for baby as well. What I really love about this store is knowing that your purchases are supporting a local business and local artists. As far as COVID protocol goes, there is hand sanitizer right where you walk in and the workers are great at making sure that people are shopping around with clean hands. You can also shop online and they do curb side pick up! This pandemic hasn't been easy for anyone really but I have really appreciated how Curosity has responded to the craziness. Street parking available - just pay attention to signs!

I love how John and Jim search for and find lost and orphaned pieces of the past, give them their magical touch, and give them reasons to be loved and treasured again. I love my rescued piece that they revitalized. They also have such a large selection of items for sale that I always find something new when I visit. Great store to check out if you've never bee

"I used the Scandia-Marine Lions Club's Super Saver book to get 5 pounds of birdseed and another 5 pounds at half off plus bought 1 pound of dog treats and got 1 pound free. Put the birdseed out right away and the birds LOVE it! Bought two different types of mixes - both are high quality with seeds that the birds want to eat. The dogs also are enjoying their dog bones. The minute I take the bag out and open it up, all four dogs are sitting around me waiting for their treat! We will be back again for more bird seed and dog bones!"
"Such a beautiful eclectic spot full of lovely decor, cards, jewelry, prints that you can get framed onsite. Loved"
"My Minneapolis friend brought me here to ensure that I would go home with some cute trinkets/souvenirs made by local artisans. (I love supporting small business owners/artists, as I am one myself.) The shop itself is not very large, but there's a decent selection of cute stuff that, for the most part, is thematically congruent with the Minnesota/Minneapolis experience. I couldn't resist a glittery ornament depicting the spoon and cherry statue (if you know, you know!). You'll find things like t-shirts, kitchen towels, wooden spoons/spatulas, chocolate, soaps, wooden art blocks, coasters, puzzles, jewelry, baby clothes, coasters, keychains, postcards, stickers, etc. I am uncertain how much or how often stock changes. Prices were pretty reasonable, considering-- obviously more than cheap junk from China would cost, but also more unique and special!"
"Steve, Larry, Nicole and the entire team of Furniture and Things do it right the first time. No High Pressure great inventory clean organized professional store and run by professionals. Looking for something unique they will find it, on a budget they have something to fit it, friends taking care of friends in the community. Want the best deal in MN then elk river Furniture and things is the place to go."
"Best service you could ever ask for. We have had them do floors, back splash and a entire tile bath for us. Plus we have bought numerous pieces of furniture from them.Superb in every way."
"My favorite store in Nisswa... I especially love all the old-fashioned games and the amazing pop-up books. Great place for home decor and unique gifts."
"I had the best time shopping at Evelie Blu Boutique! They had very nice clothes, and there was a fantastic sale going on for most of the items that I was interested in. I was really excited to be shopping, since I haven't done much clothes shopping since the pandemic began, and the service was top-notch. I had a wonderful salesperson (Barb), who helped me find just the right clothes for any upcoming occasion. I highly recommend shopping at this chic boutique for all ages, if you want good service and a good shopping experience."
"Stopping at Lotus Lake is a Small Business Saturday tradition in my family! The shop is full of cute gifts that are reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always available to answer questions or provide recommendations."
"Osceola Antiques is a well kept and organized shop. What stands out the most is reasonable prices. The people will answer questions and are willing to help without monitoring your every move. The storefront stands out making for an inviting gateway in this neat little town that has changed tremendously over the years. Just inside there is a small counter with ice cream and fudge and a few tables for outside seating. Nice place to browse and kill an afternoon."
"Home & Beyond is located on the first floor of Eden Prairie Center not far away from Barnes & Noble. I have spent more money here than I care to admit. They sell all sorts of home decor, glasses, funny napkins, purses and more. What draws my money from my wallet is their ever changing wide variety go Blue Q socks. If you are unfamiliar with what that is I urge you to please go in and find out for yourself. Fine, I will tell you. Blue Q sells a line of socks on bright colors with funny sayings on them. Many of those funny sayings include the "F" word so if you are easily offended you should stay way from that corner of store and I feel bad for you. While I never need any assistance while there I have noticed that the staff either completely ignores you or talks to you way too much. That can be good or bad either way.Anyways, check them out and while you are there spend too much on a pair of socks that have the word bitch (or naughtier) on them!"
"This little shop is super cute! It's very small but set up nicely. The pricing is decent for a boutique and I even thought a few things were on the lower end. I love that a lot of the stuff is handmade by Minnesota vendors. The reason I had to mark down a star is because the staff person working was very quiet as if she didn't care or was just very shy. I was the only person in the store and she did acknowledge me when entering but then didn't even look at me the rest of the time until I checked out. It's hard to describe but I wasn't impressed nor disappointed. It's a cute place and they have some good finds but I don't feel the need to visit often."
"A great little gift store on grand avenue in St. Paul with a wide variety of clever gift items. I find myself making the trek from the west side at least once a year, usually for the holidays, and always find a few clever stocking stuffers and small gifts for family and friends. The also sell hand made jewelry and women's clothing along with toys, and hundreds of carefully chosen items in a wide variety of prices. You can easily spend 30 minutes or more browsing the collection as it is a bit of a treasure hunt with the large amount of items displayed in little clusters of shelves around the modest sized store.Parking on the street can be tight but if you are a bit patient, you can find a spot."
"I always get treated with respect and they are very responsible on their merchandise. I'm happy to shop and visit the store. Thanks for the great experience."
"This is a very nice Ace Hardware! I find the people very helpful and friendly. They are always willing to help you out in finding an item or making sure that it us the right item to help you.Very well stocked with typical hardware items in garden, electrucal, plumbing, paint, etc. They also have a housewares section.Additionally, I have used their small engine repair services, located in a separate building across the parking lot. Very reasonable and pretty prompt.Lots of parking all around the building.I recommend this store!"
"This is such a huge store and has so many arts and crafts and pictures to hang up on your wall, religious books, things for a picnic. You could spend hours in here. I was shopping for candy making supplies and everything I wanted was 25 or or 50% off, definitely a good deal. Also they always have sales posted in the newspaper. The only bummer for me is that they are closed on Sundays. The cashier was very friendly. Lots of free parking."
"You know that friend you have who is super hard to buy for? You might find what you need for them here. Very eclectic and unique gift shop! It reminded me of David's Apothecary in Schitt's Creek. I especially liked the wall of irreverent greeting cards; many of my favorites can't be quoted here, LOL. Artisan candles, vases, room scents, art, and really sweet owners. Just what this area needed!"
"What better place to spend an afternoon than this huge barn all the way out in Buffalo? This is a large two level barn full of various handmade, vintage/antique and repurposed items from multiple vendors. Both levels display collections styled in unique vingnettes. You can easily spend time walking around and find one of a kind gifts for friends or yourself. This would be a fun place to do some Christmas shopping in the winter. Prices vary by different vendor but seemed reasonable for this kind of merchandise."
"I first enjoyed Tare Market at an introductory event. Now I am a regular. In particular we LOVE the peanut butter! It is fresh peanuts ground. No sugar. No additives. Just pure peanut butter. It is simply worth the drive. On top of that there are many many environmentally friendly products from food to kitchen to cleaning. All to reduce the use of plastic. Amazing. We will be back!"
"Whenever we come up to the cabin, a trip to the 'cone store' is on our to do list! The staff is always friendly and the portions are plentiful! One thing that was a bit disappointing on my last visit here was that when they closed at 10 pm, they practically shoved us out the door at 10:01, and locked the doors behind us! I was thinking it would have been nice if they let us finish our ice cream, but we had to finish it outside, in the dark, as they turned off all of the outside lights. Other than being rushed through our ice cream, we enjoyed our visit to the Lake Country Cones!"
"Discovered SHR at the Buffalo occasional sales. Large shop of refinished furniture, shabby chic decor. All the displays were so prettily put together and gave me inspiration for my own home decorating ideas. A bright and cheery place. Convenient parking lot. Next door to another occasional shop This and That if you're looking for more antique and garage sale type finds."
