Nicole N. "Great find in white bear lake! I was in town for the week and stumbled into this place towards the end of my stay. I was only disappointed that I hadn't gone here earlier. What a gem, wish it were closer to where I live! If you have a whole foods near you, this place maybe similar but even better. They have amazing choices in fresh meat and seafood. Great coffee selections and specialty food items. They even had an area for items you may want to purchase for your kitchen, very cute selection! Also, they had a ready-to-eat section as well if you need to pick something up for lunch or dinner. There is a Starbucks in this location too if you wanted to get your fix before you leave ;-)"

Kowalski's is still great for quality food items. We've discovered a few new favorites recently. Cheese/crackers/cured meat is a regular reason for us to come to Kowalski's. They have great options and a large variety. Maple sticks. Go get one right now, then get another for your future self 10 minutes from now, you'll NEED it. I am a huge donut fan, but these things are one of the best breakfast pastries I've ever had. They are bordering on candy bar with the amount of caramel and maple on top, but there's enough dough there to call it breakfast still.Sushi. We are new to the sushi game, but kept hearing that Kowalski's has pretty decent sushi. We tried some last night and it was pretty good. Tasted very fresh. There was hardly any left when we got there at 6:30 because they only make a certain amount each day. I'm looking forward to trying some new varieties next time.
