"Cute donut shop on Nicollet. All pinked out and glamorous. You can't miss it. I couldnt believe the selection. Gluten free was in a separate case. They had easy to read signage but the donuts speak for themselves. They are so beautiful you want to eat 1 of each. I had the Maple Bacon long John. It was just as maple'y bacon'y as I expected it to be. Soft and creamy goodness. They have the cutest lil Photo Booth too. I will be back for another!"
"I have been to this wonderful bakery shop twice, and both the times I have had good experience. I liked the variety of pastries and sweet treats they sell, their beverage selection, their pricing, and the good service. In my two visits here, I have gotten cupcakes, donuts, a cinnamon roll, almond puff, and a tea cake. All the items were delicious and to my liking. They were worth the purchase. I talky like them and would go back for more. I definitely recommend checking out this fine bakery shop."
"Delicious donut selection, not too sticky sweet, but so good. 85 characters needed, but what more is there to say? Oh wait, I do appreciate the compostable coffee to go cups & lids, but not the sleeves?"
"Best old fashioned donuts in the city! Don't believe me? Try them for yourself! Some local Minneapolis coffeehouse sell these donuts, but they're best right from their downtown bakery. They have a basic lineup, but create a number of specialty donuts each week. This time I visited and there was death by chocolate, chai coffee cake and so many more! They also make delicious parfait bowls and gourmet coffee drinks. See pics if weren't already feeling hungry!Be sure to get their newsletter and sign up for the birthday club."
"I read about Puffy Cream on Reddit when looking for solid basic donuts that don't cost an air and a leg. I stopped in on a Thursday around 8am and while there were plenty of donuts you could tell I missed out on some other options. This is your warning to get there early for the best selection. There were two people ahead of me and two people behind me- which is how you know the donuts are good. I personally had great service, the team working behind the counter were happy to assist through my ordering process and honestly it was super easy. I took off a star based on how staff were speaking to the person ahead of me. They seemed really annoyed with the customer for taking too long to pick out donuts, and losing track of how many are left that he needed to select. I don't love that for him, and I felt the need to go as fast as I could while ordering to avoid causing the same issue. I spent about $45 on two dozen donuts, I loved that they threw in a couple donut holes (and so did my work). All of the donuts were fresh and tasted great. I'll return and I'll try to have most of my order figured out in advance and recommend you do the same."
"I've driven by this place a million times and never stopped. However, my husband and I had a need for "a sweet" on the way home yesterday. We picked up a dozen mixed donuts, and DAMN, have I missed out. Each one was better than the last. I was especially partial to the blueberry donuts. We smashed that entire dozen in 24 hours. Def be back! Thank you!!"

Absolutely delicious donuts! We loved the Bannanarama and Punktart. While I did not try them, they DO offer vegan donut options too! I haven't had donuts this good anywhere else in Minnesota as a brick and mortar restaurant. The stuff actually tastes as good as it looks!Comfy and clean with good AC.Their music is great. The ambiance is great. Staff is nice. This place has great vibes.(Only bad part is parking, but there is neighborhood parking in the area. That's everywhere in this Uptown strip though.)

I've been coming to A Bakers Wife for years and have always had a great experience - the pastries are always delicious, flakey, buttery, and made with love I called them to place a very special order and they were able to accommodate! Very thankful that they could be part of a very special day for my partner and I. Will be coming back for as long as I can!

Was in the area looking for coffee and stumbled upon Angle Food and so glad we did! There is plenty of parking since it's in a retail strip but it was very full on a late Saturday morning. We were lucky to get a spot and headed in. Menu is on the side wall so you can take your time picking drinks and ogling the baked goods. The donuts, cupcakes and pastries all looked amazing. We trapped a maple bacon and it was delicious. We grabbed two drinks to go. One was a mint mocha that got the review of "it tastes like an Andes mint". I opted for the London fog latte with lavendar and it was possibly the best London fog I've ver had. The space is open and very bright and seems to have lots of seats. There is a viewing counter to watch the bakers at work and seems like an ice cream spot towards the back but it didn't seem open. This is definitely a spot worth checking out!

Cardigan Donuts is an absolute gem! Their old-fashioned donut is a must-try--it's perfectly crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The old-fashioned with chocolate was hands down my favorite--rich, decadent, and absolutely delicious. The apple fritter was another highlight--crispy, sweet, and so enjoyable. I also tried the blueberry donut, which tasted just like a fresh blueberry muffin--such a delightful treat! While the coffee cake donut wasn't my favorite and not a flavor I'd pick again, it was still well-made and enjoyable in its own right.Overall, the quality and creativity of their donuts are top-notch. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu. We were back a few times during our stay for snacking and just because it was so good. The service is exceptional and friendly the moment you walk in the door. The inside is cute clean and cozy with tables and chairs to sit at inside. They were located right off of our hotel and through the skyway so you didn't need to walk outside at all. They did close pretty early around 3pm.

The best donuts we've ever had!! They melt in your mouth and taste amazing! Very nice variety of flavors and they have delicious pastries too. Their donut holes melt in your mouth, and they always have free samples. Free off street and lot parking, close to Lake Nokomis. The female employee with pink hair is super sweet and helpful each time.

I'm going to try and keep this short and sweet. If thirsty whale isn't the best bakery in the twin cities then I don't know what is.I Read all the reviews and I was like "I've got to check this place out". It did not disappoint.First time checking out the bakery. Tiny spot, but don't let the size of this bakery fool you, it may be tiny but everything they sell pack quite a punch.I bought 2 dozen of an assorted mix of sweets for my coworkers one morning (see pictures).Let's just say, every single one of my coworkers wanted to know where the thirsty whale was so they could check it out for themselves.I cannot wait to be back!!!

I always love a savory croissant, but since becoming a vegetarian, they are exceedingly hard to find. Their spinach, feta and walnut croissant was amazing. I will definitely come back.

"Just a hole in the wall bakery, but service was awesome, and super patient. Donuts were super tasty. Hot honey maple bacon, wow.Everything was fresh and wonderful."
"Yummy Bakery Items the donuts and muffins were delicious. Also ordered an Americano Staff were pleasant and friendly."
"I think they got new ownership, not too long ago because there is new life in this bakery that I've grown up going to. And in my opinion, the donuts are even better than I remember them being. The mural on the wall is so cute and they've just updated the space as a whole.I bring donuts in for work a good amount and they used to have limited hours so I would have to try a different donut shops in the never compared. Looks like they're open seven days a week now which means I don't have to go to a random place (that usually disappoints in comparison) anymore.I've got enough that I'm able to recognize some of their alternating favorites. The chai twists are so delicious if they have any form of a blueberry old-fashioned run to get it. But their normal raised vanilla sprinkle donut is delicious too.The staff is always nice and you can order ahead online too. I wish they had some sort of rewards program at this point since I go so much lol."
"HUGE donut girl, here! I always make sure to try new hole in the wall donut shops wherever I go. Moon donuts is AMAZING! Freshly baked and so so soft and fluffy! I love me a good classic cake donut. There's a variety of flavors including cream filled, fruit filled, raised, old fashioned, cake, and even a red velvet (my personal favorite)!Super friendly staff. I went in at around 9am on a Sunday and it wasn't busy at all. They also offer breakfas foods such as burritos. I'll have to try those next time as I will ABSOLUTELY be back!!!"
"We were on our way to go grocery shopping and decided we needed something to eat. We decided to try DD. We got an egg, ham and cheese crossiant and an egg, ham and cheese on sourdough bread. It was ok. May be better if we visit during their breakfast hour it was lunch time. We will probably be back some time and plan to try their coffee."
"We thought we'd give this place try today. We were interested in some donuts and sandwiches. They were pretty cleared out by 11:30am but we did manage to get a few donuts. We tried to order sandwiches but it didn't seem like they were set up to make them. It was confusing. We're not sure why you'd have sandwiches on your menu if you don't have the ability to make them? Maybe it's more like a kiosk for selling the food than making the food? That said, the staff was very friendly and the donuts were so delicious."
"Whenever I'm in Eagan, I pass by this Dunkin' location. It's next door to a Speedy gas station that I frequent often. I hadn't had any inclination to visit a Dunkin' in my life. It wasn't until I had breakfast delivered to my hotel room in Niagara Falls that I wanted more.Almost a carbon copy of my delivery order in Niagara Falls, on my final day in the Twin Cities before flying home in the afternoon, I ordered breakfast on DoorDash from this Dunkin' location.Technically, I haven't visited this store yet. It is a Baskin-Robbins-Dunkin' combo store. It also has a drive-thru. I feel like I've been here, though.I placed an order for these items:- Sausage, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich- Sausage, egg, and cheese empanada- Jelly donutI got an estimated time of thirty minutes to have my food delivered. It was perfect. I asked that the Dasher knock before leaving my food at my door. He didn't knock. Ugh!Luckily, I was looking at my order status through the app. I saw a photo of my food at the door. I'm so glad that I was checking up on my order.I loved my sausage, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich. You can customize what kind of carb you want your sandwich to have, such as an English muffin or biscuit. I like getting a croissant. It elevates the yumminess of the filling. The trifecta of sausage, egg, and cheese is perfect.I also liked my sausage, egg, and cheese empanada. Although I was savouring it in my hotel room, I picture getting this handheld sandwich at the drive-thru and eating it on my way to someplace without making a mess. It's like a hand pie, but a breakfast version of it. It's not a traditional empanada, but it is tasty.I finally got a donut from Dunkin'! I got a jelly donut. The menu didn't tell me what kind of jelly was in it. It tasted like strawberry jelly. It was delicious and not overly sweet. The donut was the perfect size. It wasn't massive with a ton of dough. It was the perfect size. I'd get it again. Dunkin' is growing on me. I look forward to visiting the store when I'm in Eagan again and try more goodies off the menu.(166)"
"Great ambiance and good donuts! I liked the old fashioned best, but my husband and son liked the raised. The pink donut star seemed to be a big hit with all the kids - I think every one I saw had one!Very family friendly - there is even a place for kids to color. It would have been nice to have self-serve water or something to that effect. A great addition to Lakeville!"
