"Free and fully available street parking in front? Yes please. Rarely have I ever been to a coffee shop where the staff actually adjusted the music style, etc. based on the customers in the shop. Initially, there were folks conversing and then it drilled down to the book readers and studiers. Music was adjusted accordingly, 5 stars alone for that. Staff was amazing and attentive. I felt spoiled rotten with the ube latte ($6 alone $7 with espresso in it) and I wanted a 2nd cup, but had to exhibit self control on the calories and the cash. Didn't think I'd ever call cracks in the wall and cacti charming but they were. Will be back very soon."
"Love, love this family business. They roast their own coffee. There have home baked treats, gluten free scones, limited sandwiches. Sit inside or on the back covered deck."
"This place is awesome! It's got a retro vibe with all the pinball machines, many lounge areas to chill with friends, great backyard outdoor seating and it's definitely got the ambience and atmosphere to feel cozy, hip, and creative. The coffee was excellent! I loved the shaken not stirred cold brew latte and even bought a growler of their cold brew. I came back the same week and got an americano and my goodness it slaps again. Check this place out!! It's so unique and harbors community so well in it."
"Stop in for your cup of coffee and support our local women owned businesses during the international women month ! Best coffee around!!"
"Backstory is a great stop for coffee. This location actually roasts the coffee for both of their locations. They have a small indoor and outdoor seating and they are right across from a brew pub so you can go right from coffee to beer!Backstory roasts and sells their beans as well as various items like shirts and cups, etc. The one thing I want to call Backstory out for is their very friendly service. We had a couple of questions and the barista was happy to answer them and explain some things to us. After getting my cappuccino and taking a sip, I immediately went back and bought the Legend beans so I can have them at home. A must stop for coffee!"
"I have been a coffee fan my entire life. And while I love the occasional frilly latte, my coffee journey is defined by the pursuitof the ultimate black coffee. And at this SK Coffee in Saint Paul,I have arrived. To the point- very interesting bean selection, perfectly roasted- consistently stellar pour overs here. - all baristas are skilled and knowledgeable, follow an efficient process and crank out pour overs fairly quickly - the above three points mean that here you will consistently taste many well balanced brews with very interesting notes. This is precisely what I have been searching for.- the fru fru drinks are good 2- you will need to pay for the quality: 9 or 10 dollar pour over! But as a coffee connoisseur, I will budget for the occasional spectacular brew! - it's a lot of dollars, but at here every dollar is spent on quality- interior is very spacious. This is not a cozy coffee shop, but it does have lots of great seating options and these cool magnet art tables -- see video. I really like the vibe here, but there are a lot of other cool coffee shops if it's vibes you want- their empanadas are delicious too, if you can wait 20-25 minutes!Other coffee shops to consider - Weasley Andrews. Cool spot, cool neighborhood. Pour overs are much less expensive but not as good, and less consistent. But they are above average and like 1/3 the price.- Sovereign grounds. Good drip brewed coffee, very cool vibe. We call it the "play cafe" as they have a room with toys for kids! A gem for sure - Caffetto. Another genre of coffee shop - the late nighter. Enjoy an 11pm brew. Incredibly cool vibes, a basement of pinball machines. Right by a stellar ice cream cone shop"
"In my opinion, there are several similarities and comparisons between coffee and wine. Neither of which I have a lot of education in. For years the only way I would drink coffee is if after pouring in some sugar, "the spoon stands straight up" (Christian Slater in True Romance). As I have gotten older, I have begun to learn a bit more and my taste have refined some. Still a long ways away from where most coffee drinkers are at and that was the reason for this days visit. We planned to make a special meal for my father in law. My "pa" enjoys his dark roast coffee. I knew that they ground their own coffee so after a little Yelpsearch, I found Sunshine Coffee Roasters. They are located conveniently in Lake Elmo and were quite busy this morning. The ladies that helped us were quite friendly and even taught us that there are different grinds available. Everything turned out great. After surprising pa with his meals, turns out they have made the trip from St Michael to Lake Elmo and have previously been to Sunshine Coffee Roasters. I'm sure I'll be back again too."
"First new coffee shop of 2025 and it did not disappoint. What a great way to start Sunday morning! Stopped in around 10am for a cup of warmth and homework time with my nephew. We randomly stumbled upon Ember and Bean Roasting one time while taking a new way home from Costco and so glad we did. We walked in and were immediately greeted with a warm welcome by the two ladies working. They were both very friendly and attentive. This spot is below an apartment complex and right off the metro transit bus stop. I learned they've been open for 3 months. I love all the windows and how bright it is with the natural light. There's tables, espresso bar, couches, and small play area for children. It's very cozy and suits all ages which is so nice. I noticed many folks working, reading, playing games, and best of all just enjoying one another's company. It was also very nice to chat with the ladies at the espresso bar. They made you feel like a valued customer versus just another number in the coffee shop. Coffee was excellent and they really take their time making them. Lots of fun ones. I had to stop myself from getting another cup... coffee lover here! I absolutely love the mugs the coffee was served in. After chatting with one of the ladies, I learned they are made by a MN lady in Ely, MN. Yup, I'll be ordering a few mugs for myself. This coffee shop is a little hidden gem in Oakdale and I suggest you check it out sometime. Lots of people were stopping in to get theirs to go. I absolutely loved the bonfire theme on the mugs. Can't wait to go back soon!"
"I loved this whole space. They have plenty of coffee options but unfortunately not so much for food. Inside passed the vibe check. There's outdoor seating with shade and street parking. They play good music that even plays outside. Friendly service and would recommend!"
"What an interesting coffee shop! There was plenty of seating indoor and outdoor! Not a lot of parking lot space but it's easy enough to park in the surrounding area and walk I wouldn't be worried! I thought the building layout was interesting and the ambiance was modern and colorful! Now onto the important things, the coffee was very nice! Came out nice and hot! I got the golden latte and it was well flavored! The texture was smooth and not powdery. I enjoyed my coffee from here! Would come again!"
"Elegant shop. Bright open room with mid century feel. They brew a good cup of coffee."
"I met a colleague here and so enjoyed it. I was worried when I found out it was in the skyway because both of us were driving in from outside the city. I found some on street parking a block away, through the door and up an escalator and I was there. The coffee was delicious. I chose my usually latte and it was artistic, creamy and oh, so hot. Perfection. There were several tables for work or conversation, although most were getting their cups to go. Staff was chatty and fun. Great stop. Love supporting these downtown businesses."

I'm a simple person, so it should never be a surprise when I opt out of a "foo foo" coffee drink and go for a latte. I also consider myself a coffee connoisseur of sorts, so I like that without added sweetness and flavoring, a latte allows me to appreciate the quality of the coffee. The latte I had at Wesley Andrews was lovely. I felt at complete peace when sipping on the high quality coffee drink while catching up with a friend. The space is modern, without feeling too sterile-- a balance that can be hard to find in a lot of these establishments. The service was warm and friendly as well, which only added to how much I enjoyed my time in the coffee shop.

I have nothing but good things to say about Curioso. I love that their default is oat milk and that the price you see is the price you get. It's flat pricing to include tax. I also appreciate that they give every opportunity to make their coffee drinks affordable and accessible. Everything they do is for sustainability, so if you bring in your own cup OR drink it "for here" you get $1 off your drink! They also offer a happy hour Saturday & Sunday mornings for $2 off your drinks as well. DRINKS: The ginger snap latte was absolutely delicious. They make all of the syrups in house and are so flavorful. SERVICE: Everyone who works here is so kind and they really do it for the love and passion of the community. Good people all around. They source everything local as well or make it themselves. ATMOSPHERE: It's so nice and bright and in a very open space. The "lounge" is a great place to work remotely or study. Please check this place out!

Adorable spot! I had no idea this place existed until I did some local exploring and stumbled upon it. The inside is really darling. Lots of places to sit, cozy decor...I'll definitely have to try to go back to do some work there. The coffee was also very good. I got their brown sugar latte (iced) which was yummy, although a bit sweet! It's always a gamble for me getting flavors and I really need to get better at specifying that I don't like my coffee too sweet. Only negative I found about this place was that there wasn't much food selection. I did come a bit later (around 11:30am) so maybe I came too late. But all they had were donuts and coffee cake, so come early if you're looking for food and a coffee!

Even though it was a little cold the day I went, I loved the little outdoor patio area. I sat outside, just watching the cars go by as I enjoyed my coffee and chocolate croissant. Got a cold brew and iced latte. The coffee was pretty strong which I appreciated and wasn't bitter at all. The croissant was pretty good too but it was a tad on the dry side. Either way, it was really good with the coffee.I didn't get a chance to sit inside but it's a really cool vibe in there as well. A great place to chill and catch up with people.

Sunshine Coffee is a delightful addition to the Lake Elmo downtown. We love the happy colors and, of course, the coffee. The baristas are welcoming and the pastries are absolutely a must try. We should also mention that their catering is fabulous. A well deserved 5 star review.

"I understand busy...I really really really do. But busy and rude, nope. The baked goods and breakfast foods were good. The coffee was fine. The chai latte was sweeeeeeeet (in the sugary way, not the great way). I tossed it. And yes I asked before I ordered it "not really that sweet."It's a good stop with the limited choices in Hayward."
"Oh my STARS!!! I give SC a 10!!! I just had the best experience with a young lady named Mandy, (i) ?,...I suspect it is spelled with a Y, as her mother named her after the Barry Manilow song, Mandy! She was a complete delight, so helpful, so joyful, an absolutely beautiful person, inside and out!!! Thank you so much for making my morning so special Mandy!!!"
"I've always had a great experience here. Each of the staff are kind. When I'm in the neighborhood, I love stopping in, nice friendly comforting atmosphere and great coffee.I used to pop in here many years ago, before I moved out of state, and now my partner works close by so I like to hangout when I can. Thanks J & B!"
"Up coffee roasters is a gem hidden in an inconspicuous corner of the Como neighborhood. I've bought their coffee wholesale and love the flavor, so I was excited to pound out a few hours of work in the coffee shop today. The interior is fun and modern, and there's great music playing over the speakers. I had the lumberjack latte, which is sweet without being too overpowering. Still tastes like coffee, which is important!"
"#14 in my TWIN CITIES COFFEE SHOP SERIES One of the best vanilla oat milk latte's I have ever had ($5). First off, it is already a plus when coffee shops do not charge extra for milk substitutes. Lactose and vegan people should be able to enjoy their coffee without having to pay extra! Second, their vanilla syrup is homemade w/ real vanilla beans. It makes the latte extremely tasty and sweet. You know it's good because you can actually see the vanilla bean flakes in the coffee! They also have all the traditional coffee shop drinks (cappuccinos, matcha lattes, espressos, etc). For the vibes, they were pretty simple. A few tables around and a bar table w/ stools by the window. A great spot to get some work done but not outrageously aesthetic compared to other coffee shops. But that latte really sold me!! Thank you for making a mean vanilla bean syrup."
"So excited to see another coffee shop enter Chaska! It was a must to stop in for a latte on a chilly day. I ordered the Brown sugar and spice latte, and it was a wintery dream with the cinnamon as the spice element. I made no modification to the latte and ordered with whole milk. The espresso pull was smooth- will 100% order this again. Since this is in the old Dutch Bros. building- I appreciated they went with a light and fresh look. I look forward to their food/bites menu to evolve. They also had "not coffee" options like tea and juice so something for everyone!"
"Best Coffee shop in Anoka! The staff here is friendly, welcoming and warm! The upstairs bookstore is a great addition! We just live coming in to support this business!"
"delicious matcha! less delicious price- $9.18 (I did get almond milk and added vanilla syrup)"
"Huge fan of this place. It recently changed hands and one of the biggest changes is that the owner roasts his own coffee so your getting a flavor unique to this place. This is such a wonderful local place where both the baked goods and coffee are just fantastic. Whether you're passing through or local and looking for a place do yourself favor and visits this absolute gem of a place."
"I've only been thru the drive-thru a couple times but the service was quick and the food has been very good. I think the food is better than Starbucks"
"Such a cute spot tucked away in Linden Hills. I've seen a few different Jones coffees pop up recently, and have been meaning to go to one for awhile now. Well, I finally got to try one out!I went to Linden Hills for the opening of their farmer's market for the season and noticed Jones across the street. I hustled over so I could sip on an iced coffee while I walked around the market. I ordered a vanilla lavender latte and it was delicious! And not too bad price wise either. The inside is simple and cute. The staff were sweet and super quick with making my order. Jones seems to have a lot of really yummy food options, so I'll definitely need to go back sometime to try those!"
"I love this coffee shop. I usually try whatever is on their specialty menu and today was the bourbon caramel latte and let me tell you!!! The 12 oz was perfect. It was sweet, I could still taste coffee which I love, and I appreciate coffee shops that serve their coffee in actual mugs when you drink them there. I've had their drip, afogato (they also sell ice cream) and their bakery items. I recommend the savory scone. This is a good place to get some work done - outlets are aplenty if you sit by the wall. They showcase new art every month it seems and usually have fresh flowers or live plants on their tables. Parking is on the street and fairly easy to find. I'm a fan."
"Fresh coffee and more - 5 stars!Located in the original 1905 Post Office building, Jewelltown Roastery has hot coffee and much more. They have fresh pastries, breakfasts, cold drinks, ice cream, maple syrup, honey, hand crafted soaps, local art...and more. They have live music too.I'd drive past the big national chain coffee joints and spend my money here - every time. Support a local family owned & operated business.Thumbs up!- Maxx"
"Customer Service: 5Cleanliness: 5Affordability: 5Quality: 5We stopped by this coffee shop last Saturday while we were visiting the Minneapolis area. We were out shopping and we had the taste for some coffee, and we just happened to stumble upon this small coffee shop. The menu offers many options for everyone, but we just ordered two speciality coffees. The coffees we had were very favorable, and we truly enjoyed everything we ordered.I'm sure that we would return for another visit, if we were visiting the Minneapolis area again."
"I've been buying Kinder coffee for a few years by mail so I was very excited to hear not only were they opening a brick and mortar cafe, but that it was going to have a drive thru. I'm usually just getting coffee on my way somewhere and will actually go a little out of my way for a good drive thru vs. having to park and go into a place just for a coffee. Minnesota definitely needs more locally-owned coffee huts like the northwest.I got a cold brew with cream and simple syrup and tried the maple fritter. The coffee was delicious with the right amount of cream and sweetness, and the roast they used was flavourful and nutty. One of my favourites and probably one of the best "plain" coffees I've had made for me. The fritter I saved for a few hours later and it was super soft and delicious even after sitting in a bag in my warm car. Not sure who makes the donuts but I definitely need to get another one sooner than later.I'd definitely be a regular if only they were closer to me in south Minneapolis!"
"Roundtable serves smooth strong coffee in a bright, calm location on the corner of Raymond and Territorial. It is staffed by the owner, Shawn, and some equally agreeable young men. You get fine service and great coffee. I only wish it was open seven days a week!"
"Very cute place. Had a leprechaun latte and peach scone. I highly recommend. Possibly the best scone I've ever had. Latte was delish too. Service was great snd friendly. Will definitely be coming back every time I'm in nisswa"
"Growing up in the 90s, coffee shops were the domain of the cool kids. The ones who were just naturally cool and didn't really have to try. But somewhere along the way cool became pretentious, and coffee shops became that, too. Tapestry is a throwback to the 90s cool kind of coffeehouse. The vibe is really chill and relax. But they also take their coffee very seriously. The little things, like putting two shots of espresso into small lattes and using whole milk in them, show in the coffee. Everything is meticulously done. The bourbon caramel latte was perfect. And the iced version of it was even better. The baristas were on point as well.I can't wait to be in Minnesota again to go back."
"Nice new coffee shop in town! I stopped here on a Thursday morning during their soft open period and was happy with the service. The price seemed high for an iced vanilla latte, at $7.40 before tip, but it was a nice beverage and I understand it's a small local business. They also offer a nice variety of baked goods, which they mentioned they bake on location. They also offer coffee flights which I'd love to come back and try. The name is a bit misleading because they don't roast their beans on site, but they do offer beans for sale at this coffee shop. There was nice space to sit for a meeting or work on a laptop. I enjoyed my coffee and I will be back! T"
"Nice folks running an excellent coffee shop. A much needed hot latte for my trip through Minnesota farm country. I will definitely be back soon."
