"It's taken me almost a year to get to Slim Chickens in Saint Cloud and it was worth the wait! It's located in the old SHOPKO area opposite Cash-Wise.There is a time of parking.I ordered the 3+3 meal.Three wings and three chicken tenders.I have always been a wings guy but their chicken tenders was the star today. My meal came with Texas toast and French fries. You have a choice of two dipping sauces .I went with ranch and honey mustard which was so good it seemed home made. I thought two sauces was generous. My food came out hot and fresh! I chose my wings to be spun in a sweet chili sauce which was okay.It was my first time eating here so next time I'm definitely going with something else. The atmosphere is fast-casual dining. The music wasn't loud and they had a couple TV's...one with sports on and another with news.I don't think another chicken tender spot was needed in town but I think these guys may out last the other guys.Ill be back!"
"So, this is the place to get Korean-style friend chicken. That's really all I have to say about this place. The service was friendly and the food is fantastic. We started with Bulgogi Short Rib Bao and Char Siu Bao. Should order at least each of these...yes, even if you're eating alone. These things are sooooooooo good.Next, we added the Asian fries to our chicken order. These are entirely too easy to eat. If you have a thing for potatoes, you might need rehab after eating these. They came out hot and perfectly seasoned and presented. Another thing you might want to order more than one of if you're sharing. I don't typically eat a lot of fries, yet these are worth the calories. And finally, what you came here for: Chicken! Darn-good friend chicken. These thighs are fried to perfection and so moist and flavorful. The crunch is so strong that you feel surprised that your clothes aren't covered in shards of skin and batter. We got the four-piece and ate one each at the restaurant. You can order ahead if you don't have time to eat inside. You aren't going to get a better Korean-style chicken anywhere else."
"Great food and service! Piri Piri chicken bowl was excellent. Definitely will be back."
"Loved trying this meat-free fried chicken basket. They have several items on the menu that are all vegan. First- appearances are stunning. Looks exactly like chicken! As far as taste, I would say this won't fool a meat eater, but the texture and taste are pretty darn close. The meat alternative is very filling. I was only able to eat about two pieces. As far as whether it is healthier than chicken? I mean, it's still all fried... Definitely worth checking out, espeicially I'd say if you are transitioning to being vegan. I am participating in meatless March and this was a great way to get in protein, and maintain some of the taste of meat."
"Phenomenal pizza in a fun bar atmosphere! Service was spot on, though it's a busy spot so there was definitely a wait. We'll be back next trip for sure!"
"Very good sweet and sour shrimp and sesame chicken! Ordered ahead and the made it when I checked in at the window. The fried rice that came with it was a great deal."
"We love this place, even my kids who are 12/8 years old and rather picky eaters. Prompt and friendly service every time. I'm a spice lover so I enjoy that they have that option on many of their menu items. Pictured are two orders of the 3 piece cx fingers (crispy and grilled), two orders of crispy Brussels sprouts (this is the ONLY place either of my girls will order any type of veggies) and side of fries with four of their sauces on the side (Buffalo, spicy piri piri, piri aioli, toma sauce). They get our order right every time and everything is seasoned to perfection. More people need to know about this place but if I'm honest I'll be happy if it stays a hidden gem"
"Nashville Hot tender fan saying this is a SOLID chicken spot. The spice level was perfect. It won't challenge the die hards. The sauce they serve with it is very subtle and it compliments the chicken season well. The chicken tenders were cooked perfectly - piping hot with crispy breading but still JUICY on the inside! My only complaint (and it's not a big one) is the breading came off the meat too easily. I found myself scooping up chunks of it to go with bites of chicken. Crinkle cut fries were crispy and seasoned well.Order from a kiosk. Service is about as streamlined as it gets. This restaurant is located in the Northtown Mall food court, so you get a food court vibe and atmosphere."
"I love this place!I don't eat here often because #wedonthavefreehealthcare, but if we did...I might I always get the medium...very tasty! It's a NO DAWG for me on the mac N cheese and coleslaw doh! Service is ALWAYS ON POINT!!! Tip them, or you suck!!I always get it To-Go, bc it's always hot af in the restaurant and a tight squeeze."

Food 4 out of 5Service 5 out of 5 Cleanliness 3 out of 5Prices 4 out of 5The chicken to batter ratio is spot on. I got chicken tinders with French fries and toast. My wife and child got the Mac and cheese with chicken tenders. We all enjoyed our food and thought it was reasonably priced. The only major complaint was the cleanliness. They don't wipe down the table in between customers. This left sticky stuff and crumbs on the tables. I would recommend that they fix this issue as it's not really appealing if you want somebody to come back and sit inside.

My #1 favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities from the first time I tried it. It's so rare these days (especially in the metro) to find a place that has food that's THIS good at such an affordable and accessible price point. It's a small space, so I also really appreciate that they're aware of their capacity and operate as a counter-serve joint. The chicken sandwich ($13) is the best I've ever had--the fried breast is juicy and flavorful, and is complemented so nicely by the pickled vegetables and the milk bun. In addition to all of the standard toppings, you get an option of sauce on the sandwich, and to me, it's an absolute non-negotiable to get the chili crunch! Abang Yoli's chili crunch is my favorite ever and has the perfect blend of spice and umami. The Asian fries ($5) are also a must--the portion is HUGE and the crispy leeks with the nori salt elevates the fries so much. The sesame aioli adds a nice subtle and mild flavor to balance out the (pleasant) saltiness of the fries. They also have one of the best breakfasts in the cities on Thursdays-Saturdays from 8-11a. The house cured pomegranate bacon that comes on their Breakfast Bang Bowl ($12) or Seoul Sunrise Sandwich ($12) is mind-blowing!

I think Toma has become my favorite fast casual restaurant in the area! I've taken my family and recommended it to friends and coworkers and everyone always loves the food. It's such a great value for the food and flavors you get and the workers are always so friendly. Great for take out and sit down - if you haven't tried it stop in!

Not a vegan. This is a vegan restaurant. I did know this prior to going. I had the pleasure of ordering with Lavender! Great customer focused service. Lavender was very patient and thorough and did not mind my many questions to make a final decision on the 2 piece meal. Let me say it is a filling meal. It was so filling I could NOT finish it in one seating. Now I will keep it 100, the biscuit comes out looking drier than dry but when you bite into it, your mouth is filled with the buttery texture. It is a bit misleading cause the biscuit look dry y'all! The " chick'n " is seitan or vital gluten and it is coated in this beautiful golden brown batter. If I recall correctly the same ingredients too. The seasoning is good. I had it served with the Mac and chz and it is coconut based ingredients. Now the Mac and chz has to be my favorite. It was creamy and actually had a good flavor. The butcher sauce is the choice sauce I had and it was impressive. I would definitely buy that again. The chick'n for ME personally was a no need to buy again, pregnant and MY " Wiggles " did not digest well. So... I am not a fan of the seitan though it is nothing with the presentation or such. Some vegan is not for everyone. The texture is something you have to adjust to especially cooked in this form. Just so it is clear to...I had seitan at another place too and was NOT a fan so it is NOT this establishment. I do say however the batter they use would be amazing on some cauliflower, some mushrooms, etc. This is definitely a small and intimate place with phenomenal service and great food just for ME again ME would return for other items. Parking can be a bit hectic if not familiar with the area but it is worth going in and taking the time to place an order.

I ordered from this place and had it delivered and let me tell ya, the chicken was phenomenal. It also came with Cajun style fries which were also great. The "Texas toast" could have been a little better (it was just a toasted/buttered slice of bread) but overall the meal was great. Will definitely try again.

"Awesome burgers. Clean place, friendly people, fast service. Totally enjoyed this place. Will definitely go back in the future"
"Best hot chicken out there! The sauce is top notch and the fries are great as well. I recommend this spot to people at least once a week. It's that good. **ask for their recommendation on spice level the first time you go**"
"Alessandra was kind and simply a damn good person. The food was amazing I recommend the Hawaiian luau pizza."
"Nashville Coop is located where the old Flynns was at the southwest corner of Penn and 66 th street in Richfield. I used to meet friends for coffee occasionally at Flynns and Nashville Coop is a huge improvement (well almost anything would improve on Flynns). If you want anything other than their fried chicken you are out of luck. You have three choices chicken without bread, chicken on a bun, or chicken on Texas Toast. Your order comes with fries, a small cup of coleslaw (just ok), dill style pickles and dipping sauce. No substitutions or modifications. The food was ok. Not something I would want frequently. You get a choice of spice levels. The heat levels range from MN nice (lowest) to Clucking Hot (spiciest). I grew up in Texas and am not a stranger to spicy food but this is pretty spicy. I got the mini coop which is one step up from the least spicy. It was plenty spicy. I would think the typical Minnesotan would find the highest level of spiciness inedible. The food had an ok taste but like most fast food is heavy and leaves you with a not pleasant after taste. Servings are large - more than we could finish at one time. Service was fine. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. There were lots of diners at noon and the decor is typical of fast food restaurants. Nothing luxurious. There is a parking lot which is nice as on street parking is a challenge. Probably won't return."
"I don't know how to review this place since I ordered: Thai Tea, Small Rice, eggrolls, Thai Boat, Raw laab, and one pad Thai beef that equals to $73... I decided to do 15% tip which was $8, but I still don't understand how it equal to $73. The wife didn't even give us a receipt too!The eggrolls were old because it didn't look fresh. Look like it was reheat into the oil since it looked greasy. Thai boat was decent. Raw laab was good. The rice was cheap quality, which we have to pay $3 for small plate."
"I just moved to St. Paul a couple months ago and was looking for a good chicken place! The Coop is absolutely delicious. I ordered the chicken strip basket and it was really good. I wish they had a veggie burger! The staff was very pleasant and I got my food quickly. I will definitely be back."
"Newer location in Lino Lakes. Lots of Uber Eats & delivery from this spot! During the evening we were dining, we were the only customers that ate there (which is sad because the patio is so charming). Cafeteria style-pick your choice & the server will create your order. I tried the Burrito Bowl with pork pastor meat (nicely spicy) with the medium sauce. My partner also did the bowl but with steak and spicy green sauce."
"Yummy taste almost spot on.. to. 87th in Chicago. Love the reminders. Enough to satisfy"
"Jerk chicken and rice was a pleasant surprise. One night I was craving "crack wings," a signature dish of JJ's, so I ordered them. I patiently waited for the restaurant to accept , and then prep my order. Then waited for a Dash driver driver to be elected, to pick up my order, and be on the way. I was excited as wings are my favorite, and not many places have such the quality when it comes to a traditional whole wing. I finally get the notification that my order is dropped off, so I rush to the door, grab my food, tip the driver, and proceed to set up my food placement. Everything's, a goo.... As I have my favorite hot sauces, for the wings and honey mustard and bbq for the fries. I open up the styrofoam container, and SURPRISE, it's full of rice, peas, chicken, and some other vegetables. NOT Fried ChickenAfter crying, and stewing in my dissatisfaction, I then tried this rice dish for reasons of hunger, and limited options; and it turned out to be the Jerk Rice Dinner which is"
"My husband and I ordered Roosters on Saturday for dinner. It was absolutely delicious. I got the fried chicken sandwich with fries ... not just any fries waffle fries! My husband got the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich and was amazed at how good it was. The lemonade was phenomenal and I've been craving it since. The service was great and the employees were knowledgable on what to order. I forgot to take pictures of our meal, it was 10 out of 10."
"THIS PLACE!!! I like chicken wings and was looking forward to trying these, but they were way beyond my expectations. The wings are made to order, so they came out nice and crispy with the most tender chicken. The Gangnam style sauce was flavorful and had a perfect kick to it. The Gangnam style wings take longer to make than some of the other menu options, so that's something to keep in mind. The Uptown location is close to bde maka ska and there's plenty of metered street parking in the area. There's a St. Paul location as well.I totally recommend bb.q and will definitely be back for more wings!"
"I've had Krispy Krunchy from other locations and expected this to be no different, but OMG.This location is connected to a Marathon. Walking in, the employees had no masks on...nor gloves when he was putting our chicken in the bag. I mean, they were nice enough...but pandemic. We just did a quick counter order and take away. The food itself:the chicken - super saltythe mashed potatoes & gravy - this was fine and helped to calm down the saltiness of the chicken a bitthe biscuits - these were deliciousTLDR: the chicken is salty, maybe get your fix at a different location"
"One visit review Back and forth tween three and fourPrice gouging, so threeBeen anxiously waiting for this place to open. Took over the space of my favorite local beer bar. The beer selection pales in comparison, obvi. Four basic beers on tap pales in comparison to their predecessor. The food was really good. Got the Rush Hour 4 which is described on the menu as Tendies, TLC yum sauce, Tokyo fried rice. Tendies were great! Nice, light, crisp breading. Felt like I got up charged though. Before I ordered, saw what a guy next to me got as that is what I wanted. Asked if it was the chicken fried rice. She said no, it was the Rush Hour 4. Looked at the menu. $17. Done deal, give me what he's having. Bill came. Add on charge of $6 for chicken fried rice. Maybe a failure to communicate on both of our parts, but an extra $6 for chicken in your fried rice?! It is only two dollars extra for chicken in your Tokyo fried rice on the menu. I should have protested more than I did before I rolled over on the deal. Shady, shady as all hell. My return is possible, but somewhat iffy."
