"My sister-in-law had her Naturalization ceremony in St. Paul so we wanted a place to eat afterwards. I had heard the Red Cow was known for its burgers so we chose it for Arlin's brother who was in town from Vancouver. Glad we were able to find parking in the small lot!This venue has an outdoor patio which we considered but it was a little too humid. The service - once they made a table for 8 - was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. Cheese curds for the table were a hit!My hubby and niece had the 60/40 burger (beef & bacon) and while they liked it, the candied bacon topping was a little too sweet. The burgers are thick so if you like a beefy patty, these are for you!The grilled cheese I had was the best I've eaten in a long time. Overall a successful outing!"

"The 5-8 Club absolutely lives up to the hype! Their Juicy Lucy is an absolute must-try and truly a masterpiece. The burger was perfectly cooked, with the melted cheese oozing out in every bite so flavorful and satisfying! Be careful the cheese is extremely hot as you bite in! It's hands down one of the best burgers I've had for someone who prefers their burgers black and blue temperatures lol. They take the juicy Lucy and put their own spin on it. We ordered the saucy sally and the roadhouse versions. The sauce on my roadhouse juicy Lucy was absolutely delicious and was great on the burger and the fries. The fries are perfectly crisp and lightly salted. The saucy sally was also pretty good just super messy to eat. So be prepared for a messy meal but a delicious one. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. They really know how to make you feel at home.If you're looking for a place with great food, excellent service, and a chance to try the iconic Juicy Lucy, look no further. I can't recommend this spot enough and will definitely be back for more if I'm ever in the area again!They have their own parking lot which makes parking super easy and their prices really are great."

"I visited 6Smith for the first time last weekend to celebrate my sister's birthday, and it did not disappoint! Having enjoyed multiple visits to Baldamar, I was excited to see what 6Smith had to offer, and it lived up to the hype.The menu was overwhelming in the best way--so many enticing options that I knew I couldn't go wrong. The Bread is Life was an absolute must-have: warm, soft, and paired with incredible accoutrements. I nearly ordered a second one to take home! We also decided to share the dry rub wings, and I'm so glad we did. They were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and moist while still achieving a nice crisp on the outside; just how wings should be. For dinner, I ordered the short rib, and I had zero regrets. Between the two appetizers, I barely made a dent in it and had plenty of leftovers to take home. The tamarind in the tomato-based sauce added a subtle hint of sweetness that perfectly complemented the savory flavor of the meat. I'd absolutely order it again, though with so many other tempting options on the menu, it may take me a while to circle back!Since we dined in early February, it was too dark to see the waterfront location, but I'm already looking forward to a return visit for brunch and a summer patio experience.The only downside to my visit was a small but frustrating detail: When I ordered a dirty martini, the server asked if I preferred regular or blue cheese olives. Naturally, I chose blue cheese (because, obviously), only to later notice a $2 surcharge on the bill. I don't mind paying extra, but I do mind not being informed upfront. It's a poor practice that left a bit of a sour note on an otherwise excellent experience.That said, I'll absolutely be back--there's still so much on the menu I want to try!"

"This 24 hr Diner was located across the street from our hotel so we were able to conveniently walk over whenever we were in the mood for some tasty food! Though the down side is that they take a long time...both times that we've gone, there was either 1 or 2 servers for the entire restaurant floor and it would be hectic with the amount of parties coming in as well. If you have the time to sit and wait for the food or even to have your order taken, I definitely would try them out! We got their Frickles (Fried Pickles), Poutine, and Chicken Wings with Dry Jerk Seasoning. The fried pickles were delicious paired with their ranch sauce. My second favorite was their chicken wings which were huge! It's only 5 pieces but it's including the drum stick and wing together. Overall, their food is delicious and if we're ever back, we'd come back to try their other goodies. The ambiance is an old school diner vibe. There are shows on certain days on the rooftop/upstairs. There's a security guard that checks IDs at the door as well."

Normally HH ends at 5pm, but 3:30p Vikings game kept it going much later. Enjoyed Cajun Steak Bites, State Fair Cheese Curds, Caprese Flatbread, and a killer $10 cheeseburger & fries. Full generous app portions were nice and the discounts were significant. Place was vibrant, with the Vikings game on many large screens throughout. Great attentive service. I highly recommend GN...especially for HH and watching the Vikings through their playoff run."

I had to try the Blackberry Shake because I saw it on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and YUM I'm not disappointed very unique shake flavor and tastes so light and refreshing and blended with fresh blackberries. The bar area has fun lighting to add some sparkle. They have a nice outdoor area (it's January so didn't give that a whirl). Everyone ordered burgers although they have some other options too. Service was perfectly attentive. The burgers were mediocre, mostly cooked beyond their very own recommended medium making some a bit tough. The fries (regular and waffles) stood out but were under seasoned. In general, the food was lacking in the flavor department . Not a burger joint to rush back to for our group."

The service on the other hand was very poor. At sat for twenty minutes before anyone showed up to take my order. Then the server got the order wrong but kitchen turned it around quickly and got me the correct meal. The server never returned so another twenty minutes after my meal I went to seek out someone to pay my bill. I spoke to the manager who was very understanding and took care of matters. So great food. A bad night for service, so a 3 rating."

I've gotten others too and liked them quite a lot but I just can't get enough of this one. We come here weekly and I nearly always get this. The other 10% of the time I get the elote wings or something that is on special. Never been disappointed. Also love the homemade potato chip side with dill dip. Mini donuts for dessert are great as well. You really can't go wrong as far as I'm concerned. Great lively ambience and always the same friendly workers. They don't appear to have staffing problems like other places."

We were seated at a side booth that was super roomy.The service is great! We had Sanyla and she was awesome and on top of things. I ordered the gluten free juicy Lucy. The gfree bun was one of the best buns I've had. It had sesame and poppy seed buns and didn't fall apart. I upgraded to the fries side option which was great. The fries had some good seasoning.
