"Randomly pulled into this place and had the best party of one. I know it's hard to make friends up here sometimes but I felt like I had been coming here forever"
"Spiral Brewery is like an old pair of jeans- they always fit- and Tuesday was no exception. They held their regular "open jam", and the vibe was as warm and friendly as ever! Their new American pale ale hits the spot also!"
"So much fun for coffee in the morning and a great atmosphere! Tasty beers including specialty beers all year round. We love this place - there is room to play some games, enjoy a beverage and chat with friends!! Highly recommend!! Super friendly staff to greet you with a smile!"
"This is a Vikings bar and I know this because I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the game was on. Exciting to see the fans cheering and then their eventual disappointment at the end. There was an announcement that when the Vikings are ahead, beers are $1 cheaper. That didn't last long. Oops.I enjoyed a couple of beers and their wifi, writing up a couple of Yelp reviews and working out where I would be parking for the evening. Bald Man doesn't have a kitchen, but they do have food trucks and I was lucky to enjoy a great one this afternoon.Good beer and I thought it was a fun time.[Review 20730 overall - 141 in Minnesota - 1712 of 2023.]"
"First time there. Love the taproom. It's feels like a great place to hang out. But the patio is the real gem. It was a little chilly but we got a few chairs by the big fire pit and it was perfect. Tried Smokey the Beer, the smoke was a bit on the burnt bacon grease side. Not my fave but it was good with the pizza. Second beer was In All Places. It's a Brown Ale. Really liked this one. Also tried a few that my hubby had. Like his also. All in all, it's a great place to meet some friends and hang out with some yummy food truck food and beer. Can't wait for summer to really enjoy the patio and the live music I've heard they have."
"Super awesome space.Great Beer.Great Seltzer.Hosted a birthday gathering with friends today- we really enjoyed the space and the atmosphere. Family friendly, dog friendly and a great food truck out front. The staff was great and took great care of us."
"Steel Toe is just south of Hwy 7 off of Belt Line Blvd. as is typical for breweries these days, it's a fairly nondescript setting. Sitting in the small bar feels like one is drinking after a shift making beer. Which is to say it's purposely nothing fancy. Half a dozen tables, a dozen bar stools and very good beer - that's about it. More tables and a rotating variety of food trucks in the parking lot. While I did not sample Sweet Lou's Meats, I did enjoy a Sissel, which is a raspberry sour ale served at 5.5% ABV. Tart and tasty. My second was a Lunker, a barleywine aged in rye casks. Kicked my ass a bit at 13.75%, which probably explains why ST pours about 6 oz for $10. Worth it. If I had a campfire to enjoy, the Lunker would be a perfect companion on a chilly evening. All-in, ST is worth a visit."
"Stopped here after a Vikings game and SO glad we did! Had the Elote pizza, and even after forgetting to add the carnitas, this may have been the best pizza I have ever had! SOOOO good! The ingredients were SO fresh! Every flavor contributed perfectly! The roasted corn, cilantro, scallions and jalpenos - perfection! The crust was perfect! Best thing I've had since we moved here. We ate at the bar and service was excellent. We will definitely be back!"
"I've heard about this brewery for about two and a half years because they have a peanut butter porter my husband absolutely loves, but we never really found a reason to visit until recently. I needed to find the spiciest pizza I could and the pizzeria down the street just so happens to make one. So they don't have a food menu at the brewery but seem to have food trucks that come out, but you can order pizza from Pizzeria 201 and bring your pies into the brewery to eat while you. I think we can all agree there's not many things that are a perfect combination as hot pizza and cold beer. They have a great selection of beers to choose from, you can also purchase some to bring home! Definitely worth the drive and we will be visiting again soon"
"For a big city dweller like me, taking a chance on a small business in a small town can be an adventure. I was invited to join my wife's brother for a beer and a bite to eat. He knows how to pick 'em. We had a lovely dinner in a low key environment. Really friendly. Interesting mix of food. This place offered pizzas and also had a food truck that had great Asian food. The food truck rotates day to day. But they have the local favorites. Now to the brews.I don't know much about beer. But they do. They know a lot. I think they had ten on tap. Big range. Everybody finds something good. They have lots of sodas in cans for the kids and those who do not do alcohol. This is not a dive bar. It is a place you can bring people of all ages and hang out. Lots of board games and toys. Big tables. Being summer now, they have inside and outside seating. Parking is ample. Mostly street, but nobody else competes so it works great.I got to chat with the bar tender about small town life and her love of travel. I also got to talk to the brewmaster who took the time to give me a tour. I am not sure if that will be available for you, but it might. Just ask. Attention to detail was very evident. I have no idea where they got the name. I am reminded of Genesis 1:2. "The earth was without form and void" I am reminded by my friends who read Hebrew that it meant "The earth was chaotic". Maybe you can ask them about the name and let us know."
"Modist Brewing was the perfect stop on our way to the Twins game last Saturday, 9/28. It was busy but not overcrowded as the indoor space is big with a good sized outdoor area as well. There was a DJ playing some general house music, not too heavy with a vibey touch, that really set the mood and atmosphere. The beer selection is solid, and I would loved to have tried more options had we not been needing to get to the game given it was my first time visiting. Cheers!"
"The food and service was amazing! Will definitely be back! Hubby had a California cheeseburger with onion rings. I had the bleu shroom burger with curds. So good and fresh!"

I don't get down here often.....but it's an easy and somewhat close drive from the cities. I was surprised last month, in the summer, some of the storefront spaces are taken away for flower pots and such so parking can be a bit tricky if downtown is busy but the blocks around Spiral tend to have some spaces and to the north is the riverfront parking lots. My inaugural visit in September 2019 left me underwhelmed...one beer on my flight was off-putting. However that was five years and at least two Brewers ago. Current brewer, Morgan is crushing it!! On my third or fourth visit in November 2021 I entered, ordered my beer and then passing the bar, made my way to a table....as....a gal in Carhart bibs was sitting on the end...as I passed her I said "you must be brewer Morgan!" and proceeded to my seat. As I sat down.....Morgan joined me! Well...I told her I ran in to her former co-worker @ a brewery & she'd said Morgan replaced Bobby. It was delightful to chat her up about brewing and craft beer. It just makes the beer taste better.....to know the human brewing it is friendly and cool! The tap room is comfortable and spacious. I like that the brew house is right there....on display! Beertenders are always friendly and knowledgeable. Delightful Heidi is a staple behind the bar. Spiral has good beer poured by friendly staff in an inviting tap room and definitely worth the drive, cheers!

Had the best coffee date this morning in downtown Shakopee at @shakopeebrewhallI have been here previously to grab a beer with friends and have enjoyed the outside street patio and also the cool screened in secret patio out back... But this was my first time taking advantage of their morning coffee menu and we loved it!They have a seasonal coffee flight option and then various hot and iced options!I am an iced coffee only person and I ordered the Salty Lumberjack which comes with a sprinkle of black sea salt on top!Soooo good! I also ordered the Mulled Hot Cider We also stopped by Brittner's Bakery (a few stores down) before hand to grab some donuts and then headed over to the brewery. The brewery welcomes outside food and there are plenty of options around you can get for take out! There are various of fun games to chose from and it's family friendly if you have little ones!I can't wait to make this my regular spot!10/10 recommend

Stop #25 on our Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Tour We'd been in before in a rush. This time, we took the time to soak it all in. The patrons here were a bit more playful, not in a childish way - more like how one might interact with an adult sibling. I think that reading through the drink menu names gives you a good idea of the environment The Dunkel was OK (3). As a Dunkel lover, I may have high expectations. Everything else was pretty solid 4

I normally head to the Twin Cities for Minnesota Wild games. I am rarely there during the summertime. Well, I finally returned to the state in early August. Why? My first concert and visit to Xcel Energy Centre was a John Mayer concert eons ago. Opening for him was Guster, a band from Boston. I fell in love with their music, and how awesome their bongoist was. I have been a fan ever since. The band rarely comes up to Canada. I have only seen the band once up here at Danforth Music Hall. I tend to head over the border when they are playing.I found out that they were playing a show at Utepils Brewing. It made sense to return to the Twin Cities where I was first introduced to Guster.I got a VIP ticket. It meant that I got to sit in a specific area, have access to the bar and washrooms in this sectioned-off area, and get a special Guster beer. The show was on Friday. It was open at 5 pm. I drove over here, which was straightforward. However, parking was limited.I spoke to the nicest man standing by the railroad tracks in front of the brewery. I asked where I could park. He said that I could either park at Anwatin Middle School and take a shuttle over here (it runs every twenty minutes), or park on the road, just up the hill. Nice!I thanked him and tried street parking. It was perfect. I found a spot and walked down the hill to get to the venue. You do have to prove that you are 21 years old. I had my Ontario driver's licence. The man doing the check looked at it and thought that I was born in 2003. I need him to compliment me all the time... haha!I didn't have a ticket. I had to show my VIP receipt on my phone. I then got a wrist bracelet, my VIP ticket, and my drink ticket. Yay!I had to use the washroom. I used one of the portable ones. It was clean, as I was early for the concert.I was hungry and got a smokey bratwurst from Gerhard's. There were several food trucks there, which I liked. I also got a bottled water. I paid with a credit card. Done! The VIP experience was nice. I showed my ticket to the woman at the gated area. I found a nice table and sat down. My bratwurst was yummy. It was great eating and drinking in this cool space.I had the Guster special brew. It was refreshing on a fairly humid day. Luckily, it got cooler throughout the night. Everyone was friendly and cheerful. It was nice chatting to a man next to me about Guster songs that we hoped would be performed. It's a nice outdoor venue. It's on the banks of Bassett Creek, which is between downtown Minneapolis and Theodore Wirth Parkway. I was at a Yelp event at the latter in May, so I now know that it's not far away from this brewery!I had a great time. It was an excellent concert.I used the brewery washroom for VIPs. It was clean and nicely maintained. The brewery is nice and large.Staff at the brewery were nice. There was a photographer taking professional photos throughout the night. I liked that food trucks were still going on strong after the show. I was hungry again.I have had food from KCM Egg Rolls before at a food truck event last year. I went ahead and got a foot-long pork egg roll. I paid with a credit card and got my egg roll on a stick immediately. I thanked the nice man and headed up the hill to my car.I ate in my car. The egg roll hit the spot. It was packed full of seasoned ground pork, vermicelli noodles, and veggies. It was so good to have it again.I had a terrific concert and beer experience at this brewery. I'd love to return when there isn't a concert to check out what the ambience is like. Parking is a bit of an issue, but I now know that street parking is decent.(355)

We had a great time at Bauhaus with friends recently! I had an Animales craving, and knew Bauhaus had some good seating, so this made for a great pick for a big group on a weekend evening.Counter service is efficient, and I like how they have something for everyone: beer, seltzer, and THC beverages. There are quite a few large tables here, which is great for large groups if you can snag one! Note that it's mostly large long tables/benches so it's not a lot of smaller seating if you're looking to sit alone or as a pair. I LOVE that Animales has a standing place here - it's the perfect pairing and makes this truly a destination to visit. One of the best parts of our visit? They have this incredible vending machine that has the most random, hilarious, unique things in it! Some snacks, yes, but also gag gifts, jokes, handmade local crafts, and more. I LOVE this idea!!

It had been too long since the last time I visited Steel Toe Brewing. For reference, I was enjoying a fresh Hefeweizen in the sun last time I was in the taproom. This time I was looking for something a little maltier to keep me warm with the temperatures we are facing in Minnesota. The two I chose were of course top notch - nothing less from a brewery like Steel Toe.Wee Heavy:It was a Wee Heavy - as the name suggests. Beautifully caramelly and sweet with a very mild hop bitterness.UnLunker:An English Barleywine that they use as the base of Lunker, their Barrel Aged version of this beer. The base beer is extremely complex with layers of butterscotch, caramel, molasses, and figs.____

Nice waitress, good service. Food needs help. Pretzel B+. Walleye strips a bit disappointing. Wrong coating. Lighter breadcrumb better. Fries just bland. My local place in Chicago uses these https://www.store2doordirect.com/product/frozen-big-c-3-8-straight-cut-coated-french-fries-6-4-5-lbs/Way better: instant competition for the waffle fries at Maxwell's.

"I was here to support my friend playing corn hole. It was busy and they only had 1 bar open. The lemonade slush was good for a hot night. They don't accept cash. I am not a big drinker so I only had the 1 drink."
"Great vibes - especially on a nice day when they open up the garage doors. Doggo friendly. Great beers on tap. Parking can be a bit of a B. They always have food trucks every-time I'm there which is always a nice option. They offer flights of four and have slushies in the summer. Trivia nights is always a good time as well. Cheers."
"Best beer in Minneapolis. Awesome spot to see live music, comedy, and to do trivia too. Love everything about the place."
"Bloomer Lager is great, service amazing thank you for the patio atmosphere is big town in small town!"
"Popped in yesterday. Built a flight w assistance of friendly beertender Lindsey. I went w Miss Agatha, No Big Dill, Happy Porter & Yellow Jacket Imperial IPA. Beers were delicious, I didn't care for Yellow Jacket....but that was a me thing & not a bad beer!! I'm still trying to find my niche w IPA's, this wan't piny & bitter it just... I don't know.... something hoppy so it was a good beer, just not for my palate. The digs were comfy, spread out. I was the only one sitting @ the bar so it gave me a chance to chat up the beertender, Lindsey, who was lovely. I will definitely stop back in whenever I find myself in town again. Thanks Kinney Creek for a fun & delicious inaugural visit!!"
"Spiced Dog ...dang they make these and sell them to you sealed, with a glass of ice. Way to buck the system with an off-sale and be delicious! Or whatever that's called. 19 proof with vodka, grapefruit juice, jalapeño syrup, and lime juice. Yum!! Edit: omg the women's bathroom has bidets installed in both booths. The sinks are really interesting too. Wow the best bathroom I've ever been in!"
"What a cute and quaint brewery!! Cheers! We visited this brewery after a 5K race. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We loved the option to sit inside or outside and the tunes playing were epic! In addition to a variety of beers and seltzer's they also offer snack items like nuts and cheese curds. Outside there was a food vendor offering warm food options. I'm not a big beer person but I loved the root beer hard seltzer!! Sooooo good! Drinking this just brought me back to childhood as root beer was my favorite soda. I had some flavored pretzels along with my hard seltzer. I was satisfied. I recommend checking this place out! There's also a cool state park just about 15 miles from here."
"I stopped by Summit Brewing since we were nearby. We weren't particularly knowledgeable about Summit due to visiting MN/Saint Paul for the first time. Upon going in, the inside reminded me of a German beer hall with tall ceilings, communal bench seating, and a bar on one side of the room. I got a beer sampler of four of their brews for only $8 which was a steal. I've never had a beer flight so cheap. I also got pints for others with me for $5-$6 each which was also a steal. The beer was pretty good as well as refreshing. They didn't have a kitchen on site but they do have a food truck outside. The merchandise area was a bit lacking. Not a lot of sizes and variety for of their designs. The store was way too small as they had to display some clothes on an outside rack. All in all, a good visit to a very comfortable place to drink that is set far away from the hustle/bustle of the traffic nearby."
"A very good brewery in an old bar. The beer is very good. The flight paddle comes with five tasters. They have pizza and special food and dinner nights and popcorn. Added bonus is the attached game room and beyond that is an attached concert space. All in all, a cool space."
"Nice little brewery if you are looking for a good IPA. Outside they have nice little fire pits to stay warm when its cold. Staff was nice"
"Great space, great atmosphere, and great beer. Stopped in for a quick flight, and cant wait to try their next batch."
"Surly has great beer, and the staff is awesome. I have never had a meal there, but the number of people eating speaks to the good eats, I think.Tours are affordable and fun, and in warm weather, the whole complex is abuzz with activity and people enjoying the local brews. Last time I went, they were decorated for Halloween, and that was super cool."
"In the land of 10,000 lakes Bobbing Bobber is the most Minnesota name for a brewery ever! The taproom is decked out with lake themed decorations, and the tables are made to look like docks. Wanted to try all the beers but only had the Double Treble Double IPA and the American Dream Lager. Both beers were fantastic. I will definitely be back to try more."
"I really liked the atmosphere and the VW bus inside! I found a couple beers I liked and the food truck was great that day. I would go back for sure. They were really busy but still cranked out quick service."
"Love this new-ish Brewery! Visited the other day with a friend and has 2 beers and some yummy flavored pretzels. The location is so cool! An old police station turned into this brewery. The beer selection is great. I tried one of the hazy IPA's and another one. I can't remember the names of them, but they don't disappoint!"
"A couple weeks ago hubs and I decided to repeat our bike ride from 3 years ago on a nice end-of-summer Sunday. We were a bit confused when we rolled up and the brewery wasn't where we remembered it being! Turns out they had moved down the road to a much bigger place!I like the improvements since the last time we were here. Besides the bigger place their brews have definitely improved, both in styles available and quality. They also have seltzer waters now - hubs got the tropical flavor which was delightful. They also have food now, their own menu and not trucks (maybe they have trucks too but there wasn't one there when we were there). I got the grilled cheese and hub got the shrimp tacos. Both were pretty good. Prices for everything were pretty on par with what you'd find at any other brewery, in my opinion. Our bartender was great to chat with as well and switched football games on the TVs per our request once the Vikes were done getting beat, hah.Obviously I still recommend them but I'd say they've gone from good to great!"
"The medieval theme might throw you when you walk in, but a brewery with a library will win your heart over quickly. This is one of the most unique breweries I've visited and I've become a fan. Their beer selection is huge and their flights are even bigger. I've only been in the afternoon and have found that it's quiet with ample space. Can seem a little dark inside, but goes with the theme. Staff have always been friendly and have great recommendations. The last time I tried a summer brew called Stacked Blueberry Maple Stout and fell right in love with it. There's no food on site, but you can bring your own in or get it delivered. There are food trucks, trivia, and other fun things in the evening. Happy with this spot!"
"Our brewery adventure brought us back down to the southern metro to check out this spot! With a name like Ineffable, there's some serious hype to live up to!! The space is great! A warm green excites you as you enter a smaller brewery space. There's still plenty of seating available and this spot even includes a full service kitchen! Service was really friendly and we'll definitely be back to try some of the food! Beers were top notch! I'd I had to pick, I'd say the Homeroom is in my top five beers of all time! I was initially turned off to it because it was labeled a white stout, but upon further investigation, turns out it is a perfectly light coffee beer with tiny vanilla and caramel flavors. As a latte fanatic, this is the beer for me!Glad we stumbled upon this cool spot! We'll be back to this establishment sooner then you can finish your morning cup of Joe!!"
"This is not my first visit to Mankato Brewing and they do not disappoint! Staff has always been very friendly. The outdoor patio is causal but welcoming. The indoor atmosphere has a strong industrial vibe with the brewing machinery out in the open for all customer to admire. The beer selections are wonderful. I am yet to try a beer I didn't like (and I've tried almost all of them). This brewery also gives you the options to do flights. The brewery has live bands and food trucks on certain nights. This is definitely a spot to check out!"
"Classic sports bar with food vibe, very *industrial chic* in downtown Lakeville. We walked in on December 26th after doing an escape room across the street without a reservation with a group of 8 or 10 and were sat almost immediately. The waitress was actual sunshine and joked with me. I don't remember her name but she was great! We were visiting for our family christmas and also celebrating my husband's grandpa's 82nd birthday. My MIL requested an 'easy to drink' shot for him and our waitress recommended one -- he loved it and fell asleep when we got home. Jury's out on if it was the alcohol or just nap time. The food was pretty good. We got fried pickle chips and a ton of apps. I thought it was interesting that pickle chips weren't included in the appetizers, but instead considered a side. They were some of the better pickle chips I've had, but seemed maybe steep at $10 for a restaurant in Lakeville. The other notable starter I'd recommend were the Tex-Mex rolls. Not too spicy for those Minnesotan palates and seemed like a good amount of food."
"Came into Tilion over Memorial Day weekend as part of our never ending and ever expanding tour of breweries. They did not disappoint. They are located in a NICE building almost at the start of the Cannon River Trail which I would imagine sets them up nicely for riders at the end of a long ride. You have a nice view of the river and the falls from the back deck. They currently have 11 beers on tap including IPAs and stouts. They have a cherry wheat, a honey weiss, and pale ales and so on and so on. There is a little something there for everyone and more than enough to experiment with something you might not be familiar with. You can get a flight of up to six beers for two dollars each or just go for a pint. We arrived right when they were opening at noon and I was feeling too adventurous so I ordered a Cycology (a Red IPA, 80 IBUs). Good and hoppy like I prefer. A nice, drinkable beer that I could have downed several more of if time had allowed.Like most micro-breweries they don't serve food, but there are a few places in Cannon Falls that deliver and there is the Mill Street Tavern a couple of doors down. We ordered a pizza from Dudley's a few blocks away and it was on our table in about thirty minutes. It was a really good pie. They have made some renovations to the place. I can remember in the past the space turning over at least a couple of times in years past and it was vacant for a place prior to Tilion taking it over. There aren't a lot of breweries here on the southeast side of the area and this one in Cannon Falls (not as far away as you might think) is a welcome addition. Very clean facility, quality product, and plenty of things to do in the area to make a day trip all the more feasible. Friendly staff to boot. Highly recommended."
"My husband have been to this brewery a few times and enjoyed it each time. It has always been pretty busy when we went but service was fast and friendly. They have a large indoor area and a nice patio. They have a nice selection of beer options as well as really good food. It was a family feel environment."
"I absolutely love this new spot that Lift Bridge and Big Watt have moved into with a nice size taproom and tons of space for them to brew their amazing beers! I can't wait to see what they do in this space and am happy they could expand their operations. Make sure to grab a beer or two and try to get a tour of this giant place as its super interesting and really different from their spot in Stillwater."
