"I ordered a 8 1/2" round birthday cake from out-of-state because I was going to be in Mankato that day and didn't want a pre-made grocery store cake. I thought the cake would be a traditional 2-layer cake, so I was surprised it was just 1-layer. I probably should have specified I wanted 2 layers, but it would have been helpful if they had asked since I didn't realize there was an option. The decorating was nothing special, but the chocolate cake was absolutely DELICIOUS! Very moist and chocolatey. The chocolate frosting was a bit sweet for my taste, but the kids enjoyed it. Price was good. We also ordered pecan rolls and cinnamon rolls, which were yummy as well. Don't let the outside of the store fool you... This is a wonderful bakery! Next time I am in Mankato I am going to try the bread."
"Gluten free breads and baked goods that are delicious to eat (and look at)! The line was out the door & along the full length of the building, well worth the wait!"

"Adorable spot, and amazing food and service! I LOVE that they have outdoor seating. I've been wanting an outdoor breakfast spot in this area for a minute and they pulled through. I got their classic breakfast, and it was delish! Their drip coffee is also lovely. I'll definitely be coming back! I love that it's so close to Hyland, makes it easy to stop by after a workout or ski!"
"Very excited to have tried Wuollet's awesome bakery items! This rainbow cake is a classic vanilla flavor and is finished off with all-natural buttercream. The texture was moist & buttery, without being too sweet. @wuolletbakery also has some killer coffee, donuts, pastries, and other delicious cake options at their multiple Minneapolis locations. Secure a rainbow cake for yourself this month to help cerebrate PRIDE!"
"Great selection of baked goods. The donuts were extremely yummy and pricing was good. I called in the order and was able to pick it up in 2 minutes. That's service!"
"Stopped in for a slice of pie. I had a slice with several berries. Very tasty and I would recommend stopping in, eating there, or like I did - take a slice to go!"
"Honestly, I can't lie...this place did not live up to the hype. I almost feel like this place is the McDonald's of places to go wedding cake tasting ... everyone is like, are you going to Buttercream? Why oh why would you get your cake from here? Probably half of your friends are getting the same cake. And I know because after cake tasting, all their flavors tasted very similar. Bland cake and tasteless buttercream.Service is very cookie cutter standard. If you come here for a tasting, they give you the standard run down...square tiers or round, here's the price of a slice, lace on the sides or crystals. Moreover, the service here is pretty inconsistent because you never know the baker making your cake. Just ask them how many cakes are made every weekend ;)PS Don't fall for the free cake on your anniversary. Lot's of bakeries have that perk."
"I came in for a quick meeting and absolutely loved the pastries! The people working were very sweet and patient as I struggled to figure out what I wanted. Also, had music starting that I did not know about, and it sounded really great!"
"I've driven by this place a million times and never stopped. However, my husband and I had a need for "a sweet" on the way home yesterday. We picked up a dozen mixed donuts, and DAMN, have I missed out. Each one was better than the last. I was especially partial to the blueberry donuts. We smashed that entire dozen in 24 hours. Def be back! Thank you!!"
"$1 tacos on Tuesdays but they only offer steak or chicken. Both were kind of underwhelming as far as tacos go. The beans were amazing though. I have a feeling they had a LOT of fat in them though because no bean on it's own tastes that good. Also, fried plantains! A bit expensive, but delicious!"
"I give it one star only because I went out of my way to find a bakery, only to find out that it was closed (Oct. 2015). Another man ahead of me did the same thing. We both left disappointed. A sign on the door states that it's going to be closed for a while. I'm not sure if they're doing renovations or what's happening, but don't stop by until you're certain that they're open."
"Hometown bakeries are becoming harder to find. Albany Home Bakery provides all the items you've come to love in a local bakery - donuts, bars, bread, etc. In particular, Albany Home Bakery's bismarks and other donut items are scrumptious - they're always fresh and soft and tasty. You really should try their sugared persian, the maple frosted persian, or their glazed croissant. They are pastry perfection! They provide these goods at their local bakery, as well as other sites in Central Minnesota. Best of all, they're more affordable than some other nearby bakeries."

The first thing I noticed when walking in is how good it smelled in there! They have great baked goods and treats, plus other homemade foods like soup and sandwiches. I stopped in right before Christmas and got a selection of some different cookies, which were fabulous! They are also very friendly there.

This place is 100% dedicated to gluten-free options! I ordered one of everything to try, and so far, I've tasted the fresh baguette, which came out of the oven warm. It had a crispy crust on the outside and was soft on the inside--so amazing! Alex, the owner, and the entire staff are very friendly. The muffin I tried was warm, fluffy, and a little squishy. I can't wait to eat the other items! I will definitely come back for the cinnamon rolls, as they were still baking when I visited! I look forward to returning to try even more delicious offerings!Note: review posted on behalf of my wife who is gluten free.

The food was delicious!! I had the avocado toast with a side of bacon. The maple vinaigrette on the salad was extremely tasty. I usually don't like arugula, but the dressing made it scrumptious. The service was phenomenal and the owners are super nice. The blood orange margarita was tart and a great way to round out brunch. Took one of their popovers home, too! Call ahead to get on the list! (Trust me!)

A reliable place to grab a coffee in Uptown / LynLake area! I love that they're open until 6 on weekdays, which makes it a great place to work remote. There's plenty of seating space with a variety of comfy chairs, tables, and bar stools. They've got a varied selection of food items - egg sandwiches made to order and lots of pastries at the counter, and a refrigerated section with cake, juices, and wraps/salads. I grabbed a golden oat latte, which was delicious and turmeric-y (NOT ick-y)! Service was friendly and efficient. I noticed that everyone else dining in got to-go cups too - I don't mind, and maybe it's because it was the afternoon, but would love to see reusable mugs used. They have reliable WiFi and it makes for a great place to work! Cheers :)

Yum! I love that there is a cold spring bakery connection in Saint Cloud to save a trip. This location has essentially everything that the cold spring location has, just smaller quantities. You can still pick up custom cakes and big orders of rolls, etc. too. There are a large variety of donuts and several flavors of donut holes. Prices are reasonable!

Superb home made pies and ice cream! Stop in for a slice of pie and a cup of coffee and bring a pie home with you! And I love their pay it forward board! This is a classic small, friendly place to visit!

This has become "our bakery" for my former college roommate and myself. She lives in Cincinnati so we only see each other once a year, or so. The food here is phenomenal. I can highly recommend the Ham & Cheddar quiche as I've been craving it since the last time she and I went here. And of course their bakery goods are as mouth-watering as they look. If you have a special place in your heart for truly delicious European style pastries, you will be truly satisfied.

"Been coming here for many years but no review as yet. Well... better late than never.Great Harvest is a deservedly successful establishment. They are skilled bakers and offer a wide variety of goods, savory and sweet. On the sweet side, I love the cinnamon rolls with walnuts and raisins. Heat 'em up and slather them with no salt creamery butter for a real morning treat. For me, 1/2 roll is generally more than enough. The other half will keep in the frig for a few days or freezes well for later enjoyment.Their scones are very good. I also like the salted caramel and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. They offer a changing variety of excellent muffins. A friend swears by their granola and stocks up regularly. On the savory side, the asiago/pesto and pepperoni rolls are very good. The buckwheat/flax bread is great and toasts well for those with a gluten intolerance. In March, I look forward to their Irish Soda bread. I think it's the best available around town. They also make a great sourdough.GH offers generous samples and I've found everyone on staff to be pleasant and efficient even in the busiest of times (e.g., Saturday mornings).Usually there's plenty of off street parking and getting in and out is no hassle."
"Just moved to the neighborhood and this is going to be our new go-to spot for brunch. High-quality farm-to-table fare and cozy whether you're sitting indoors or on the patio. The menu had so many selections that I can't wait to go back and try something new!"
"I have been to this wonderful bakery shop twice, and both the times I have had good experience. I liked the variety of pastries and sweet treats they sell, their beverage selection, their pricing, and the good service. In my two visits here, I have gotten cupcakes, donuts, a cinnamon roll, almond puff, and a tea cake. All the items were delicious and to my liking. They were worth the purchase. I talky like them and would go back for more. I definitely recommend checking out this fine bakery shop."
"Raspberry Chocolate Chip was out of this world!Best hand-packed ice cream in Minneapolis!Lexi from Lowry's recommended it !"
"My first time here...LOVE the bakery & deli. The fried chicken dinner is fabulous! The coleslaw is flavorful and the fried chicken outstanding. Their bakery items are very good as well. The staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back."
"My vanilla latte was wonderful. Loved their robust brew. My niece lives nearby and this is a local favorite. Check hours/days as days open are limited currently. Highly recommended."
"The food is amazing. The staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The seating area is cute."
"What Willie Wonka was to chocolate, Sandra brings to baked goodies. No, not Ompaloompas, but rather a world of tried and true recipes that somehow manage to redefine whatever item you are biting into. The sour cream onion focaccia - inspired! Irish potato bread - full of stick to your ribs goodness. The sweets are equally good. Definitely worth the drive. For Covid they are only open on Saturday's and you need to be in line before nine to get anything. Go, enjoy!"
"Best Breakfast in Hudson! I love the omelets and the Homemade Bread toast, my coffee never gets cold and the service is great! And now with a Full Bar I think I might have a favorite new Dinner Spot too!"
"Cake box did a good job listening to what I wanted for my daughters first birthday cake and smash cake! It turned out awesome and delicious! I came in person to submit my order and paid, the staff was friendly and helpful. The cakes are very affordable! Highly recommend!"
"This review is looooong overdue. Keefer Court has been a favorite bakery of mine ever since I stumbled upon it during a Zombie pub crawl cerca 2009. My now-husband and I needed a bathroom and decided to buy something to give ourselves the ethical ok to use theirs. As we wandered inside we saw people eating dinner (they do have a full menu), but not feeling too hungry, we opted for a quick bakery item. I saw a curry beef puff in the display case that resembled something my Indian father used to make when I was little (similar to a beef samosa, but using puff pastry), so I bought it with curiosity and low expectations. They were even kind enough to heat it for me. But that first curry puff was SO good, it led to another. And another. And then two more to share with our friends. Keefer Court's curry puffs remain one of my favorite treats to this day.Since then I've tried just about every type of bakery item in the case, but I consistently get the curry puffs and red bean sesame balls - one thing that's savory and one that's sweet. Eventually I will need to order a real dinner there because I imagine it's delicious as well, but I'm the meantime the bakery keeps me coming back again and again."
"This place is delightful. Do yourself a favor and stop by. Everything looks delicious."
"Absolutely worth a stop. Great sandwiches and soups for lunch, but get there in time, before they run out each day! Just a single meal option for sandwich and soup each day. The pastries are worth every mile of calorie burn afterwards!"
"HUGE donut girl, here! I always make sure to try new hole in the wall donut shops wherever I go. Moon donuts is AMAZING! Freshly baked and so so soft and fluffy! I love me a good classic cake donut. There's a variety of flavors including cream filled, fruit filled, raised, old fashioned, cake, and even a red velvet (my personal favorite)!Super friendly staff. I went in at around 9am on a Sunday and it wasn't busy at all. They also offer breakfas foods such as burritos. I'll have to try those next time as I will ABSOLUTELY be back!!!"
"If you're vacationing in the area, Schmitz's Economart is a decent place to shop for groceries, baked goods, deli food and liquor. I was especially impressed with the quality of the produce during my last visit. Also impressive were the quality of the baked goods and the broad selection of craft beers in the liquor department. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful when I needed assistance. I would recommend this place to anyone vacationing in the area."
"They lost a point because they don't have sugar free syrups, but I do like that they have "for here" cups that are actual china cups with handles. And I like the design on the top. The process to brew decaf coffee was long and convoluted but it gave me time to write this review, so I suppose that's a positive! I had a soup one day that was very good. You can watch people in Lifetime Fitness play pickleball through the back window if you're bored. What's not to love?"
"Great food and exceptional service. Ordered bread and treats to bring to a family gathering. The macaroons were really tasty. There was a minor issue with my order and the staff offered a few options to resolve it. At the end, they went (literally) out of their way to make sure I got my order right and could delight the event guests. Really impressed with this place and will be back when I am next in town."
"Five stars except for the fact that everyone is not only white, they're all blond and blue eyed to boot. Yikes!Glad to live where I do!!! (big grin)"
"Amazing food. Some of the best I have ever had the vegan bull is good, also the chicken sandwich, tuna sandwich, and Mac N Cheese. The service was nice and respectful and the coconut cake is legendary."
"I originally went to Hayward Bakery and Cheese Shop because I was headed home after a trip to Hayward and wanted to pick up something local for my office back home. The chocolate store further down the street was super packed and frenetic, so I decided on something at this store. There was a fair number of people inside, but the shelves and display cases seemed rather bare. It wasn't even that late in the day, but about 60% of their stock was gone. Hmmm...Ultimately, I got a loaf of cranberry bread, which was tasty and pretty big. But in terms of getting something that is local or special, I don't really think this is the place. They only had bread. To be perfectly honest, I should have gone to the chocolate store."
"I love to explore St. Paul and discovered this EXTREMELY popular local family bakery a few months ago. Everyone buys their white bread and many traditional Mexican pastries. What I LOVE is the HOMEMADE TAMALES‼‼‼They have a wonderful one with cheese and a little pepper but not spicy, then they have chicken and pork. Each is I believe about $1.95 each, and beautifully created, light, fresh and wrapped in wax paper. I go home and create my own red enchilada sauce with a touch of mole, Mexican dried seasoned garlic, sazon completa , chiles de ancho and other tiny bits of fresh dried chiles I buy in big mercados in the San Diego / imperial Beach area of CA.I also adore Tres Leches cakes made with milk, condensed milk, and evaporated milk and many times some whipped cream . I love to take fresh strawberries slice them thin sprinkle a medium amt of sugar on them , mix then cover them, put in the frig. Later you have fresh strawberries with its own natural strawberry juice. Pour this heaven over your tres leches cake slice.YUM‼"
"This cute cafe has everything you might want and more. I was able to get a table inside but on a busier day I might've not been able to since the interior is fairly small. The caramel apple waffle I got was very sweet, and the size is perfect to share with someone else or eat part of and have the rest later. Extra points for friendly staff"
