"We were looking for a delicious dinner, and we found it at Post! The Post is a former United States Post Office transformed into a roomy, fun dining space. It is located about a block east of the main Hudson Street. The awesome interior had a great roomy vibe. Our server, Charley, was excellent, and our booth was secluded with accompanying tulips and dark wood.We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers; a bowl of chicken with wild rice was tasty, and our Mediterranean salad was outstanding. The main course of Grilled Chicken with parmesan bread crumbs and lemon garlic sauce was charbroiled perfectly, and the baked potato was a terrific complement to the meal. Without question, it is a terrific place to eat, and I highly recommend it."

"My only experience here has been a couple early Saturdays for family bowling and pizza. My in laws occupy 8 lanes for 3 hours every year for their Christmas celebration. It's clean, well run, pizza gets out of the oven fairly quickly, and there are other activities to occupy the kids. Electronic scoring is a must for me, and they have it. Pizza is a little overpriced for frozen, but it's tasty and satisfies a need.There's a pretty decent bar on the other side of the building with pool tables and plenty of seating. Overall, the place is well-lit, clean, and will remain a part of family tradition."

"We came by for lunch after attending a funeral nearby. The restaurant was super spacious and had tons of parking. One side was a bar, the other side was the diner. We were immediately greeted and sat down. Our waitress brought our the menus and water. She recommended so many different options for us but since we were in Wisconsin we started with Cheesecurds, shared a half slab of ribs and my husband had the burger. The cheese-curds were oooey and gooey and delicious! They came out piping hot! The ribs were recommended as they were just finished being smoked! Their bbq sauce is incredible. It also came with honey mustard, and a choice of soup or salad. We were told everything this made from scratch and that things were made fresh daily! So incredible! The restaurant is a bit tucked away, but the prices are super fair for the portions! Next time we're in town we will definitely be back!"

We went for brunch on Sunday to pay our respects and show support to this local Edina staple.AMBIANCE: While it doesn't seem big from outside, when you step inside it looks like a cozy local brunch spot with plenty of seating. It's very warm in here, with classic decor and plenty of booths and tables. FOOD: We came on a weekend and I was excited to have a breakfast/brunch menu available until 2pm. Our group got a wide variety of things: A few of us enjoyed the American skillet (hashbrowns instead of fries as the base), one got a thick Cubano sandwich with soup, some got pizza that looked delish, one got a massive Cobb salad that was decked out with toppings, and more. All well-prepared classics at reasonable prices! My heart aches for the coworkers, team, and family members of Mo - he was a light and source of joy at the restaurant and all those he came in contact with, and will be dearly missed by many."

Neat house-made rendition of a popular app. Their batter is what elevated this one because it had a smattering of dill in it. Really good!Wife and I split an entrée: their 16-oz prime rib. It's a Saturday thing. Kid 2 was with us and had the same but different configuration such that I got to try more of their stuff in one sitting. We split a salad with their house-made blue cheese dressing. Lettuce mix was all fresh, ditto for the cherry tomatoes and cucumbers. The dressing stole the show! Thick and creamy with a generous amount of chunks up to the size of a dime. The kid had their soup of the day: house-smoked pulled pork and black bean soup. She didn't love it but the wife and I demolished most of the cup. Nice tender chunks of pulled pork, tomato-based broth and black beans combined to make one fantastic soup!Prime rib was as expected. Big, beefy flavor, served in beef broth, temp exactly as ordered (medium-rare) plus a generous cut all combined to make it a winner of a dinner! Properly seasoned and prepared while keeping the beef as the star of the show. House-made horseradish sauce was (not surprisingly) incredibly good and packs a punch. Kid's onion tanglers were very good. My baked potato was likewise cooked exactly right.These folks have only owned the place for about 2 years. They are absolutely knocking it out of the park and everything coming out of the kitchen amazes. Can't wait to see what they do with dessert when they add it to the menu!"

"What can I say?! I make it a point to stop at The Pickled Loon every time I am in St Cloud. Not only my favorite restaurant in the area but arguably my favorite in MN. When dive bar meets finer dining. You wouldn't expect much upon arrival of the list low lit rail bar with a few dining tables but when you get the menu and start seeing dishes go by you know you have stumbled upon greatness. After many visits I have tackled most of the menu. In this review I will highlight my last visit. I started with a chicken fajita soup that came on a small bed of rice in the cup. The chicken was perfectly cooked and just fell apart in my mouth. The rice with a nice tough giving it some added texture. Next I had their Shrimp Burger with "Hand pattied shrimp burger topped with: house made cilantro slaw, avocado, lettuce, and roasted garlic aioli. Served on a pretzel bun." While I was skeptical at first I remember that this place has never disappointed and went with it! GOOD FREAKIN CALL! This "burger" was amazing. The shrimp patty was like a delicate crab (or shrimp) cake and the cilantro slaw added a fantastic crunch and acidity balancing the sweetness from the shrimp as well as giving it a little crunch. Throw in avocado and a pretzel bun and you've died and gone to food heaven. Also pictured in this review is the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich. This sandwich had a nice creamy chipotle slaw giving it an excellent smoky flavor along with their Baka white BBQ sauce all on an egg bun. While the slaw and the BBQ sauce gave it a flavorful bite this sandwich wasn't "Tennessee Hot" but I appreciate their spin on it and would recommend to anyone seeking a good chicken sandwich. Don't forget that this place is a BAR. They offer up a small but carefully selected menu of craft tap beers that pair perfect with the food. They also infuse vodkas with a variety of things to make excellent cocktails. I've been told the Bloody Mary is amazing and will be back to try it. I have had the smoked old fashioned with Makers Mark and peanut butter which is amazing. The smoke really brings out the peanut butter and gives the drink a smooth finish. I have also had the Pickle Martini. Yes, PICKLE MARTINI, made with house infused pickle vodka and garnish with, you guessed it, a pickle! I have also had the Pad Thai, Chicken Egg Rolls, Roasted Turkey Poutine, and Looney Mac & Cheese on previous visits. All incredible. It really doesn't get much better than this folks! Whether it's an app, a meal, or just some cocktails or a beer, The Pickled Loon is where it's at!"

"We stumbled across this place at our hotel. We were seated immediately, however soon realized it was a little chaotic in there. There was a pasta bar that almost reminded me of a Mongos experience if you have ever been there. Anyways, after we were seated the waitress finally came over and took our order. My husband and I ordered the pasta bar and the kids were having good old mac n cheese. However when we got up to go get in line we realized the line was extremely long and we didn't think two toddlers were going to be patient enough to wait.. We were thinking it was a good 20 minute wait to get through the line. So we asked one of the waiters to go find our waitress so we could just order from the kitchen. So about 15 minutes went by and not only did we not see our waitress but we hadn't even gotten our drinks yet. It was extremely disorganized looking to me. So I flagged down another worker and basically told her we were about to walk out and find somewhere else to eat.. And explained the situation to her. She apologized, took our order and found our waitress. From that point on we were pretty much treated like royalty with fast and pleasant service along with a few freebies. I will say the portions are huge. So either bring an appetite or be prepared to bring some home.Other than that the food was mediocre and probably not worth what we paid.. I wasn't that impressed."

"This was our first experience in a Minnesota sports bar. The center of the restaurant has a mini ice hockey rink that is full of tables and a wall dedicated to the packers (thought I was in Minnesota!) The menu has all the typical sports bar stuff and most of it was pretty good. I had he Zamboni zinger and it was good. Chicken sandwich with pepper jack on a sourdough bun, good portion and good size for the $$. The Philly was a little disappointing to one of our guys as there wasn't much meat to it, lots of bun but little meat. The fry options were plentiful and I thought it was cool you could have tots for no charge. I had the buffalo fries and for a guy that loves buffalo wings these were a bummer. Skinny and dry, brittle and just so-so. The beer deals were strong and the staff was friendly, if you're in the area and want to catch a game and a bite this would be a decent spot for sure."

Our lane kept malfunctioning which was quite annoying because someone in our group had to keep going up to tell them every few turns. This made things a bit slower.Some people in the group ordered some food. Artichoke dip was very basic, the wings were a bit soggy, and the pizza was super greasy. I even blotted the pizza but then grease was still running down my hand. I would definitely not go here for the food ever. But, I feel that's standard for most bowling alley's they are not known for the food."

It's a bit hard to see as it's tucked into a corner behind a parking garage. Follow the signage for parking.It's a nice concept - having a nice restaurant near senior housing, apartments and assisted living, so that family members have a place where they can take their loved ones for a decent meal.The atmosphere is warm and inviting with wood and stone. There are a couple of televisions, above the fireplace. There's a bar. There's a separate room, if you want a gathering space for your family for a special event.The menu is pretty extensive - burgers, wraps, breakfast, steak, chicken, salads, sandwiches, soup, and more. We ordered a Rachel sandwich and a breakfast wrap. Both were tasty enough. My fries were a bit soggy, and the crust on the marbled rye bread was overly crisp. The hashbrowns served with the wrap were nice and crisp.Our server provided attentive and friendly service.The restaurant is small and intimate. This is nice, unless you have some loud talkers seated near you (as we had). Their loud talking made it very difficult for my beloved and I to have a decent conversation and be able to hear.All in all, Drakes is a nice option to have. The food was better than I expected. I'd certainly give it another try.They do offer daily specials, and on occasion, have live music."

But as soon as we entered we received a friendly greeting and seated immediately. Service was quick. The beer flowed like wine and the sweet potatoes were ~exquisite~. If you like good food, good people and a good time than the Iron Horse is the place for you. 10/10 would eat again."

We sat in the bar area and the bartender told us about some beers that we had questions on and then he said go ahead and sit at a table I'll come to you. I love it when the bartenders can come out from behind the bar! We ordered the guinness battered fish taco's and the wings. The taco's were delicious and the fish was crunchy, loved the sauce that they put on them. We ordered a dry rub wing and they came out hot and delicious. There is nothing worse than when your food is up and it sits under that heat lamp, so glad to say these were hot! The place was lively with local folks and you can tell this is a local hangout. John the bartender was friendly and came back several times to take our drink orders, we had the surly "damian" which was delicious. We also tried a few other beers. What a great atmosphere this place has, we will definately be back."

The taste was perfect mixing the two sauces. My Husband ordered the meat lovers pizza minus sausage and added mushrooms.....the pizza tastes like it was either cooked on a grill or fire oven......it was amazing. We can't wait to go back and try their other menu items! (I didn't get a pic of my fish meal because I devoured it in the car on the way home lol)"
