Burnett Dairy Cooperative

Stopped in on saturday Oct 5 and it was too crazy busy with people hovering over the free samples of cheese so I walked out. Returned Oct 15 as I needed to finalize adoption of my new dog. I ordered a Wisconsin panini with turkey, white cheese, cranberry and spinach. The spinach served no purpose as it was slimy after it was hot. The sandwich was good. I also bought jerk and garlic dill curds, bacon ranch spread and roasted garlic jack cheese.

On our way home from Superior, we decided to take the Wisconsin route back. A family member recommended we stop at Burnett Dairy. Man, it did not disappoint!We browsed the shop for 10-15 minutes (which was honestly not enough due to the wide selection). We picked up cheese curds, string cheese, and a couple of blocks to try. Every single item we purchased was top notch! They were fresh, the flavor profiles were unique, and everything was reasonably priced. The ice cream was the perfect treat before we finished our drive home.

Java Chip & Maple Nut Double Scoop Ice Cream was delicious! Service was quick and friendly. Such great cheese selections and cute gift ideas everywhere. Store was clean and running efficiently despite the large crowds.

Yeahhh, this is a MUST VISIT on your way to or from the Hayward area back to the Twin Cities, or if you just find yourself in the area!I found out about this gem from a friend, and am passing on the faves to you. Stop here for:- FRESH CHEESE CURDS. Need I say more? You can purchase a ton of different varieties and flavors of curds from other local vendors, but the Burnett fresh curds are the best!- ICE CREAM. They have hard scooped flavors or soft serve and both are simply to die for. This is peak dairy heaven, people!- CHEESE & MEAT. You'll find a massive fridge section of different local meats and cheeses. Support local for your next charcuterie tray! - SANDWICHES. Yep, you can get lunch or dinner here, too! They have a little deli onsite that does sandwiches, wraps, etc.Note: You can pay for your ice cream order when you check out for purchased goods, too! Sometimes the ice cream line gets crazy backed up, but trust me, it's worth it.

This place is bustling! Stopped here on way home from Hayward. The restaurant is too busy at that time (25 min for a sandwich) so decided to skip that this time (must try to go back). But...the ice cream is sooo good, they are not too sweet, very creamy with good amount of nuts. Bought a bunch of cheese & beef stick...will keep you posted on those!

Now this is something I wasn't expecting. Honestly I had no idea what to expect lol. They have so many choices of dairy related products and more! My daughter wanted the ice cream which was delicious and of course I grabbed some fresh cheese curds. I can't wait to go back

Lots of interesting cheeses, beverages, cured meats, and jams/jellies. They also sell prepared food and ice cream, but we didn't try those. It seems like it would be a great place to stock up on some tasty treats-especially if you're grabbing food for time spent at the cabin.

Fantastic selection of cheeses. Really great quality of ice cream. Very modern and clean facility. Employees are extra helpful.Great stop if you are looking for a fun outing.

Great food, quick enough service. It's a lot of things, cheese and Northwoods grocery, deli, and ice cream shop. Fresh curds were great, breakfast was even better than lunch (limited portions in that area so we went twice). Warning that cleaning day for curd equipment is Monday morning, so make sure to visit at least once on another day.

We came here on the recommendations of family & friends & were wowed. They have a mind boggling selection of cheese, cheese curds, milk, pizza, soup, custard etc. We bought their hickery bacon & tomato basil cheese curds, burbin maple goat cheese, & blueberry vanilla cheese & some maple walnut & salted nut fudge from Rush City which sells some of their stuff there. Everything was wonderful; perfectly flavored, fresh, smooth, & creamy; the basil being just the right amount as was the same with the rest of the flavors. The people working there are friendly & will answer any questions. So, for a wonderful selection of dary products at reasonable prices with friendly service in a casual clean atmosphere, Burnett Dary cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.
