Whenever I'm in towns outside the metro I hunt for a new non-chain place to eat. I ran in here before a hockey game in Buffalo and wasn't disappointed. Great service and my food came fast. Super reasonably priced too. Authentic Mexican food and ambiance. I had the chicken enchiladas a la carte (I enjoy this option so I don't waste the beans and rice). First off - free chips and salsa were delish (fresh tasty salsa and warm chips). My enchilada was good - huge perk if you like spicy is that when you ask for a side of jalapeños they come diced (small touch, but much appreciated over a few sliced rounds). I dumped the whole cup on my enchiladas and throughly enjoyed them! If you find your self out west and are looking for a good meal in Buffalo - this is the spot!

Great traditional Mexican food with a few unexpected twists. It never lasts long enough for me to get a pic.Friendly, efficient servers and quick preparation. Cozy booths keep conversations private. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Buffalo!

Great service and fair prices are a start. The food was really tasty and well prepared. Fresh, hot, and scratches the Mexican food itch if you're looking for that! Strongly recommend!

Their food will make you sick. I heard this before eating there but figured what are the chances I'll get sick, well pretty darn good it turns out. Half way home and the race was on. We made it home before I ruined the interior of my nephews Escalade.I called them and the Spanish speaking fellow acted as though he couldn't understand what my complaint was. He eventually told me to call back when management was there. I offered my number but he said manager won't bother to call me back and that I needed to call them , which I did. Manager said it wasn't his concern and to feel free to express myself onlineDiago is not a good representative of business, read other reviews that he's mentioned in, not a good look diago!

It was very busy and kinda cold. The food was good but kinda greasy. The inside would have been nice if it was just a little warmer and not so busy. I'd probably recommend this restaurant for takeout over dine in.

By far the best Mexican food in town! Service is great - everyone is kind. The decor and painting is cool, the bar looks pretty.

The Los Tortugos is the best Mexican food I have had! Cheesy, rice with shrimp and chicken. Service in always friendly and cheerful. The decor and ambiance is well thought out. They may need to expand. Growth is good!

Excellent food, fantastic service. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend. Plus close to our home.
