We finally got a chance to visit Brühaven and we are already planning our next visit! They offer coffee and beer and the staff was so nice! We were excited at all the seating and large space! They are dog friendly and had so many nice drink options to choose from! Next time I'm trying the "brunch flight" that comes with a coffee, mimosa, bloody and beer! Yum!!

We performed a self-guided brewery tour while on a girl's trip - and started at Brühaven. We each got a flight, and out of them all, we were obsessed with the butter beer! This was a cute little brewery with a funky DJ. We happen to have come during a vendor market, so that was a fun surprise as well. Beer so good, we took some to go!

Beer was super good here. Didn't order any of the food though, not that I saw they had any either though. We wanted to find a place without kids, and figured this would be the best bet. There are no waiters or "bartenders" per se. You always go up to the counter to order and stand there to wait. It did seem a little odd that while sitting at the bar we still had to walk to the other end to have them pour us a drink and walk back. But that's fine, just different. A big empty room mostly, can definitely hold a lot of people. Some pinball machines in the back. Overall fine atmosphere for a bar.

I went to check out Bruhaven tonight with a friend. They did not have many drink options yet as they just opened but I got the mango sour. It was pretty good and cost $7.50. The prices for drinks ranged $7-$7.50. They also had some snack options including pretzels and goldfish for the kids - but I did not get any.I feel the interior space could be worked on a bit, it feels very empty. It also just screams this was Lakes and Legends. Overall I have hopes for this place, I think it has a good future ahead. Dogs and kids are welcomed. Some arcade games located inside. Street parking, with parking in the school's lot next door in the evenings (but be sure to check its open for parking).

Had the immense pleasure of checking out one of MN's newest breweries Brühaven !Taking over the old Lakes and Legends location, Brühaven is starting off big and already making a name for themselves in their beer craft, and in the community!I was able to try their Prog Rock Hazy IPA (not pictured), The Minneapolitan IPA, and the Pup's Premium Lager. All the beers were stellar!!With some amazing updates coming to the brewery, including a coffee shop, pickup window, and some garage doors to allow for outside seating access...this spot is quickly becoming the go-to brewery for locals and their dogs (yes they are dog friendly!!)Check them out and see for yourself how the team at Brühaven is creating a great space in MN's beer culture!

Had my inaugural visit to the couple weeks opened brewery yesterday. I arrived about 2:30 when patrons can park across the street in the Emerson School lot. Pro Tip: exit through the driveway you likely entered on, 14th St. I circled over to the exit about 5:30 and the gate was closed. I had only been in the former Lakes & Legends once but enjoyed their open and bright tap room so I was excited to see Bruhaven. After walking across the street and chatting up the oh so friendly beertender Chase about the beers, tasting a couple then choosing the Brunswick Black Lager, when he handed it to me I immediately retreated to a table. Immediately feeling rude I decided to sit at the bar to continue our beery conversation and explain that I have Chronic Fatigue & needed to sit, not trying to be rude. I had asked Chase what his current go-to is? He replied the Minneapolitan, an IPA. I stated I'm not much of an IPA fan. Chase assured me it was subtle as it had lager yeast. I replied: lager yeast? So, it's a cold IPA? With that revelation I requested a sample of the beer, the Pup's Premium Lager and Brunswick Black Lager. All the beers were good but I chose the Brunswick. Then looking at the tap list I sadly asked "you only serves pints?" Chase said they did but he could do a half pour. I excitedly said yes!! It made me smile to see that some of their glassware is the old Lakes & Legends and some of their tasters are just Beer Dabbler glasses. Hopefully it deters the issue some breweries have w customers taking the glasses. While sitting at the bar talking to Chase we discussed apps & beer check-ins. From down the bar a gal shouted "do you google review? I just read your review saying it was your 339th brewery." Turns out she works at the brewery so she scooted down to chat beeryness and talk Bruhaven. Holly and Chase insisted I try the Mango Sour, Hop Water and Bloody Seltzer. During all of this co-owner/brewer Alex came behind the bar so I got to meet him. Friendly fellow. The mango Sour was good but I would call it a fruit beer not a sour as it lacked the sour bite. I've seen Hop Water's around and was unaware they were my despised soda water. If this is considered a soda water, it was delicious! I would definitely order it again. Then there is the bloody....it was conjured up for PRIDE last weekend. However I did hear something about them asking to keep it available... fingers crossed! It was delicious! I spotted the merch at the end of the bar but I didn't peruse it. Bruhaven is also a coffee shop, I don't drink it but if you do, I'd think it'd be well worth a try. I didn't ask why it was there but I got a chuckle when I noticed behind the bar there was a small framed STAY GOLD PONYBOY. If you don't get it it's an Outsiders movie quote. Being I was there so early in the afternoon there was only a few other people there so it was quiet. My one Hard & Fast Brewery Rule is: No matter how good or bad the beer is, the employees 90% determine whether I come back. It's not entirely about the beers, it's about the experience, vibing w others and I assure you; Holly & Chase cemented my desire to want to come back! I double backed to Chase to question that I tabbed out but I never saw anything and didn't tip. Chase informed me there is no tipping it's built in to the price and the 8% goes to this and 10% to that. There are a couple pinball machines along the south wall of windows and the brew house is on full display. I wasn't a fan of the wood chairs, they were a little uncomfortable; likely dictating how long I'll stay on visits. Not concerning since I made it three hours yesterday. There's a good mix of standard height and high top tables, more of the standard height. I enjoyed all the natural light the walls of windows provide and the white tiled tap wall. Thanks Bruhaven for an unforgettable inaugural visit, looking forward to trying more of your offerings as they're brewed!

I recommend almost everyone I meet to go here. The service is incredible: Holly and Henry pour both really good coffee and beer! I finished writing a book that I mostly wrote right at the bar. I would highly recommend this as a spot for anyone working from home! The coffee is delicious: try the Umlatte. The beer is incredible: take a gander on that Black Lager. They also have fun N/A drinks like Headwater! Thanks guys!

This was our first visit to Bruhaven. We loved the Minneapolitan IPA. One of us had a flight that included the Minneapolitan. The other three beers were less than exciting. The worst part of our visit was the food truck, Taboo Taco--we ordered three tacos and three quesadillas, assuming that that might be enough for a light snack for three adults. They were beyond disappointing. Flat, soggy, without anything but some meat and cheese, and rather expensive for such modest and completely uninteresting food. We like to have food with our beer, so we won't be back on a night that Taboo Taco is there.
