Brickyard Bar & Grill

If you're looking for a good burger this is the place to go. Fresh, hand pattied burgers and great service. We thought we were walking into a tourist trap but turns out it was really good and not touristy at all.

I've been here several times over the years, with my most recent visit last week. The location is conveniently located off HWY 10. The food is OK; nothing memorable, but expected bar food. I had the Cashew Chicken Salad, I found the salad toppings sparse, and the dressing overly sweet. There was an over abundance of iceberg lettuce, and the salad greens : other ingredients ratio was off (too much greens, not enough salad toppings such as mandarin, cashews, etc). My table mate had the Coconut Chicken Tenders with Tater Tots, which was generous in size and tasted great. The service was fairly good, which is an improvement. My one criticism of this joint in the past was that the servers were inattentive and slow, so it seems to have improved in that regard (at least on my most recent visit).

Friendly staff, restaurant is neat and clean. Beer cheese soup is excellent. Had a basic bacon cheeseburger that was perfectly prepared. I usually stop by here on the way north for fishing trips. Food is always great!

Fantastic service! The walleye fingers were perfect. Also had the Buffalo wrap that was great and a cup of beer cheese soup. The environment was clean and not too loud. I will definitely be stopping by on my way north from now on!

We were passing through town trying to get home from a camping weekend up in Lake Itasca. We were hungry and traffic was slow and frustrating. We decided this are was a good place to look for something to eat. We saw this place, it looked decent and occupied so it looked like a decent place to try. We pulled in and i pull up Yelp. Not too much going on but worth a try. I liked the patriotic theme of this place. Being a veteran, I like to see that. I was greeted by a crabby lady that asked me if i wanted a seat. I noticed they had a large bar area and an even larger dining room. We were looking for for a more relaxed, low-key lunch.The place looked to be fairly clean. There seemed to be local business which is a sign of a place the locals like to go to. They even had a cute little patio on the back overlooking the river. I took photos of the menu for your viewing pleasure. They have a large selection of items. I was greeted by an older lady and with the entire dining room open, she throws menus down on the table closest to the door and the hostess stand near some kiddie arcade games. I wanted something more quiet and not in the middle of the entryway, I asked to move to a table farther back and she said "fine" and walked away. I moved myself, the silverware and the menus while my wife was in the bathroom from the long drive. I felt that was pretty rude. I was hoping she wasn't our server and thankfully she wasn't. My wife and I eat multiple small meals a day and we also split meals if they seem to be too large or not the healthier items we normally try to stick to. Sometimes bar food is all greasy and deep fried. We settled on a french dip with cheese and mushrooms. It was a decent sandwich, nothing crazy, just as expected. The service was spotty, we finished, no drink refills (water) and we were waiting for the bill. I hate to ask but our young waitress stopped by to see how things were and I asked for the bill, we were done. She said that she had to run food out before getting the bill for us, of course, I said okay. It must have been a lot of food or she may have forgotten for a bit. We finally got it and I handed her my card right away to get going. We still had a drive ahead of us. This place is decent but not raving. I would like to try again. Maybe next time, on the patio.

Food and service both shit don't waste your time go somewhere else. Absolutely horrible

I eat here more than I'd like to admit. It's time to refresh the menu with some refreshing summer salads! Strawberries are in season, how about a spinach and strawberry salad, topped with Brie and some honey roasted almonds, and add a vinaigrette dressing? Or bring back the cashew chicken salad! People enjoy salads in the summer.. light and refreshing!

was there on Friday 6-23-23 around 4pm food and service was real good Owner of the place (a big fat guy) was behind the bar taking to his buddies all the while we were there letting the Fbomb fly a dozen times or more when there were young children at tables that could here him plane as day.Don't bring your children here

Food is always good. The service is awesome. The new owner(s) are making additions the best one is the addition to the beer taps for a more a selection.
