Super fun busy small town restaurant/bar. Got chased off the lake by a snowstorm so o stopped by here for a bloody and burger. Sat at the bar and even though the place was absolutely packed, service was quick and friendly. Started with a pickle bloody-really delish!!I had a mino burger and chili for lunch. The burger was fresh and really tasty. It had cheese and green olives on it for a nice savory taste. The chili was super chunky and yummy. It came with a fresh roll and crackers. Liked the vibe here and totally would come back!Def recommend!

Most of my family lives in town so this is where gatherings are held. The service has always been friendly. The digs are quite spacious and you can easily move about. I like that not all the everything is crammed together; such as video games, darts, etc so you'd be fighting for room. It's in a great location... basically center of it all. Street parking is pretty easy. If you find yourself in town or traveling down 52, it's worth exiting the highway and popping in for a rest and some lunch. Cheers and thanks for the continual good service Brewster's!

Picking up our Thanksgiving turkey at Ferndale's of course we had to eat in town. We found out Nick's was closed all week and we passed by Brewster's around noon. I didn't know it was a true sports bar. The special caught our eye. Hot roast beef sandwich for $10.50. We both got it. It was a true boomer hot beef sandwich with generic white bread and canned gravy. The beef itself was tasty and tender. Mashed potatoes were good too. They had my favorite Canada dry ginger ale. We shared a good cup of chili with a little spice to it. They don't serve soup, it seems. Mike took good care of us. The place was pretty full with a mostly elderly crowd. This place was fine in a pinch.

Just stopped here randomly with the family passing through town. The place was a hit! Everyone likes all the different fries and tots we got and all the food was classic bar food done nice and simple. Bartender was super friendly and the place was clean and chill. We'd stop here again!

Visiting area during the morning and decided to stop here for lunch before heading home. Looks decent from the outside. Plenty of off street parking available. There is a parking lot to the south but signs say it is bank parking only.Walking in it looked clean, half full with two large groups and 3 guys playing pool. We sat ourselves in a booth (all tables taken by groups). The first one we choose had tears in the leather apolstry seats, with the foam exploding out....so we picked a healthier one...right near the kitchen. Only one florescent light for 5 booths. We were right under it so it was nice and bright. Others were in the dark.Menus were at the table in the condiment holder. Good selection of burgers and sandwiches. Took a while to get service (order taken, tab given and tab paid). But the two waitresses were busy with the large groups...running in and out of kitchen with big orders. I think the cook helped also because an older lady brought us our meals, not the waitress that took our order.Food was okay. What I would expect from a small town hole-in-the-wall bar. Nothing "I would just have to have again". It was piping hot though. Fresh off the grill and out of the frier! The tab was delivered. The drinks were mixed up on the bill, but a pop and lemonade were the same price so it wasn't a big deal. Waited and waited for them to return for my CC. The same cook saw that I was waiting and grabbed our waitress. Thanks for the teamwork ladies!!

Went here on a Sunday night for wing night.Wings were moist & tasty. Good size too! Service was good considering it was crowded. Normal prices on menu appear a bit high compared to the area. A coworker goes here and recommends the place.

Came in on a Saturday for lunch, No servers on staff and tables were either sticky or covered in dead bugs. Bartender told us to seat ourselves and after waiting for 10 min and going table to table looking for a clean one, we got up and left.

We were passing through on a Monday afternoon and gave Brewster's a try. I'm seeing some 1 star reviews and will say maybe they just were there on an off day. It's a basic tables and chairs place inside, with tons of darts machine if that's your thing. They had classic rock playing, no complaints there. We ordered burgers and my picky eater 10 year old proclaimed it the best burger he's ever had in his life. He ordered (and finished) a second one! My wife got the "minnow" I think it was called and was still talking about it the next day. I enjoyed my California burger - wouldn't say it was the best ever but it was good for sure. Beers were $4.50 minus fifty cents for happy hour pricing. For a low-key joint with good to great burgers at a reasonable price I think they nailed it. Oh and the fries were typical but the sweet potato fries were really good as were the onion rings.

Stopped for lunch after bike ride. Music was very loud, food was lousy. Hubby ordered a hamburger and it arrived with 4 pickles, no lettuce, tomato or onion. My BLT was white sandwich bread, old iceberg lettuce, a slice of tomato and a few strips of thin bacon. Sides were an extra charge. Refills on water and ice tea were not offered. It was a very disappointing meal.
