Food was delicious. Highly recommend getting their bowls for a tasty combination of flavors and textures. Very reasonably priced, especially considering that they pay their employees a fair wage and they don't expect tipping (when paying with credit card, you don't even get a receipt with a tip line to sign). If you're dining in, you wait to be seated but can get a drink if there's a wait. They also do a substantial amount of takeout and catering orders.Baby/Kid Friendliness: 4.5/5. They have changing tables in the bathrooms (unisex). They have high chairs available, including the kind with an attached tray, which is great for smaller/shorter babies who are too short in a regular high chair to reach the dining table. No kid's menu, but you can easily order a selection of add-ons and sides to piece together a meal your kid will like. It is generally pretty loud with chatter, so no need to worry if your kid is a little noisy or talkative.Smothered Chicken Plate with Mac and Cheese (4/5) - the sauces are what make this dish - the cream gravy the chicken is smothered in and the red sauce on the side. The chicken was tender. The Mac and cheese was creamy and not too cheesy, which I liked.Roasted Pork Bowl (5/5) - I generally love pulled pork, so I loved this pork. The pork was very flavorful. Good variety of textures, like the tenderness of the pork contrasting the crispy onion strings. Overall a lot of flavor and each bite can taste a little different due to all the things in it.Fried Fish Bowl (5/5) - fried catfish added good crunch to an otherwise soft textured dish. The yams were delicious and the apple based sauce on top gave it extra depth of flavor. The pickled hot peppers are great if you like spice, but easy to avoid if you don't. My only wish was that the fried catfish was thicker cuts of catfish (you do get two strips though!).Coconut-Vanilla Pudding (3/5) - this is a liquidy type of pudding. Light coconut and vanilla flavor, but more of the flavor came from the fresh pineapple it was topped with.

Haven't been to a Brasa in a few years, this was our first time at this location. I love that it is connected to a cute little bakery, where you can get some fun treats and trinkets. The food was great, chicken was very moist, and we all really enjoyed our food! Service was great, everyone was very friendly, and I love the layout and ability to also sit outside

Best restaurant in the USA imo. I'm not even talking about the good food, or friendly service. I'm addressing the value of the food and finally a restaurant that is paying staff more than minimum wage, actually much more than minimum wage, plus healthcare, 401K match and PTO. Bravo!!! I applaud the management of Brasa!

I can't get enough of Brasa!! When this new location opened up, I was so happy because it just meant more good food was closer to me. I usually get the same dish combination at Brasa, but I switched things up at this location and tried some new options. This time, I ordered the catfish plate, which was delicious. I was so impressed that I plan to make my own rendition at home. The fish was seasoned so well that I took my time to enjoy each bite. My friend had the curry bowl and raved about it. We shared the side of fried yucca with that bomb green sauce and were very satisfied.

I've never had bad food here! The pork is my fav, plus the fried plantains are like candy, the savory yams are perfect and the cornbread is just the right amount of sweet.

So happy they opened a closer location. Get the pulled chicken and one of every side- it's too hard to just choose a couple! Somehow even their simple beans and rice are amazing.

Well I saw this location opened up in the neighborhood recently and it's weird because I used to live right by their NE location but never tried it because it was always so busy. Anywho I was excited to finally give it a try. So i got some red beans and rice with the yucca fries. One thing I really appreciated was all the vegan options. Although at first I was confused because I thought this was a Mexican restaurant but now i'm thinking it's actually a southern restaurant. Barbecue and grits and stuff. I'd never tried grits except once in Atalanta and I didn't like them there. Well these ones were ok.. hmm i'm just not a fan of grits I guess. However the red beans were seasoned well and those yucca fries had me seizing. They were amazing!!!!!!!!! Mine came with a side salad though but no dressing? And once on my daily walk I walked by some folks waiting for pickup orders and I heard someone say where is the dressing for the salad. So I don't think this was just something they forgot. But i'm pretty sure they eat salad dressing in the south.... soanyway they were timely and overall pretty great. I really want to try the BBQ tofu sandwich with spicy pickles. It's just that I was recovering from a flu type thing (don't worry I didn't step a single foot in that joint I did no contact option thanks to my friend) so I had to choose red beans and rice to reduce my chances of bad stomach behavior. Also it's a good thing they have those orange cones along their raised eating area next to the sidewalk...but I saw a woman with a newborn almost face plant with the baby into the concrete because she tripped on the cone. 5 stars thank you brasa

Very happy to have this great option in the neighborhood. I've been hearing about Brasa for years, but never had it. We got the family pack (rotisserie chicken, beans, rice, salad and chips. Added cornbread and creamed spinach. All delicious and the sauces were extra yummy. My kids are picky eaters and everyone ate! Definitely want to try the pork and catfish and wish those could be options in the family pack!
