Boss' Pizza

I really really really wanted to love this place. It's the old Green Mill next to 55 serving pizza, sandwiches and broasted chicken. They haven't done much to update the decor, so if you lived green mill, then you'll love boss decor. When you enter the bar is on the left and dining room booths to the right. The menu is large with a focus on pizza options, but burgers, other hoagie type sandwiches and lots of other choices are offered. I'm really hoping they were having trouble getting help to come in due to weather, or are still working through "new business" issues. We arrived around 5:45 to meet friends for dinner and were greeted by a friendly smile. It took 15-20 minutes to get our initial beverages, and one of the cocktails never arrived at the table. We ordered a 2 piece and 4 piece chicken dinner, a ranch Chicken sandwich and one of the burger options, and then we waited. Almost an hour later the chicken dinners and ranch chicken sandwich came out. The burger customer told us to eat while our food was hot. Almost 25 minutes later, his food still hadn't arrived and we were finished eating. The waitress appeared to be very new and was clearly struggling to get anything out of the kitchen. We paid for everything we got to the table, tipped the waitress for her efforts and left. They have a weird thing where no bill is brought to your table, you go to the front desk to settle your bill.Based on the long waits, staff friustration, and business processes, it is likely we won't be going back anytime soon.Damn, I really wanted this to go well!

This is a disclaimer... I love spicy food. As soon as I see the word jalapeño my mind is commonly made up. I came to Boss Pizza with one thing and one thing only in my mind - the Super Boss Pizza. Funny thing occurred - when I ordered it the server checked in with me. Verifying my sanity. I was told that grown men - buffalo wing loving gents - had been humbled by the super boss sauce (which is the base for the pizza in lieu of red sauce).So what did I do? I doubled down and got the pizza and the super boss wings to boot.Here's what I can tell you. I can't feel my face as I write this and I may have consumed a gallon of ranch. That stuff is HOT! I feel like you should sign a waiver before consuming. Would I do it again? 100% without a doubt. I loved every burning second! If you like heat - swing by this spot.

I love visiting Red Robin and having my favorite dish which is the crispy chicken sandwich it is always delicious!! Alex our waiter was awesome! Very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. 10/10 highly recommend this place!!

We had 6 takeouts for a large gathering. Everyone in the restaurant was friendly and invested in a good outcome for us. We will definitely come back. The space is a bit blah - an old Green Mill/sports bar, so don't come for the decor. But if you like good pizza, then you should give it a try!

Order accuracy is still a concern with this company. This time I ordered garlic cheese sticks and the server, Victoria, couldn't find them in the system. So again I was stuck with grocery store quality cheese bread. The pizza I ordered was supposed to have chips and there were no chips. I also asked for lettuce and tomato on the side. They weren't there. There seemed to be some other agenda besides the customer. I also ordered a dessert that I had to go back for. If you choose to order something from here, check the order before you leave. I was not a customer tonight, I was an annoyance. Victoria did a fantastic job for only being there a month. Ambiance was not the best.

Not my kind of pizza, I like thin crust and this was not. It was missing a couple of items I ordered. A Latuffs pizza is still the top pizza for me. Would try their chicken but seems way too expensive.

My ordering and delivery experience with Boss's tonight is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They deliver via DoorDash and the Dasher only picked up half of my order, then advised I call the store to ask for a refund on the missing items. Boss's phone number indicates "the person you are trying to call has a voicemail box that is not in service" so I never reached anyone at the store. Their customer support line was staffed by someone who was unprofessional and seemingly uninterested in helping to resolve my issue. I will never order from Boss's again.

I have given the place 2 chances, and may or may not try again. I sat at the bar both times, and the bartenders are friendly and attentive. I ordered a Pepperoni and Mushroom pizza last Sunday, which was disappointing. Canned mushrooms do not belong on a pizza, fresh mushrooms do. They could not pour tap beer on Sunday either, which is not acceptable - especially on a Football Sunday! The place was not filthy, but could use a good scrubbing. I am hopeful they can work the kinks out.
