Blue Water Grill

You know, I was wary about this one because of the previous reviews and that is a hotel lobby restaurant. Honestly, food and service here are not bad. I was just staying for the night and wanted to quick meal and so just decided just to take advantage of my hotel credits and instead of indulging in a drink decided to get some food instead. I settled on their smashburger and their chicken BLT sandwich. Both entrees came with a large portion of fries as a side. Price point was $21 for each sandwich. Since I had $30 in hotel credit to use up that not the total down to only about 15 bucks for both after tax. Judging from the fact that I paid $18 for a burger and fries in downtown minneapolis, the price point wasn't much higher. Quality-wise, both sandwiches were very fresh and had high quality ingredients. The portion size was big enough to leave my wife and I both full and satisfied. Would it be worth it to come here and just grab food without the hotel credit? I probably wouldn't but the next time I stay at this hilton, I definitely will make use of the restaurant since the food is good and the hotel credit as a Hilton diamond member makes it very affordable.

The portion sizes are not small. I ate here twice during my stay and found lunch time to be a better ambiance for me. The staff was friendly and I learned some neat things about the city. The dessert was great ai wasn't expecting a huge burger at all but alas it was much bigger than expected. A bit dry but I also realize I was in a hotel restaurant. Great stop if you don't feel like going out. Stick to what you think you'd like and ask the staff questions if needed.

Located inside the Hilton hotel, this was a convenient dining option for an evening arrival time at MSP. They had a wide variety of items on their menu. They have a great dining space with tables, booths, and a small gathering area too. I had a Mediterranean salad with falafel and it was a great vegetarian option. The employees were friendly and the food was served in a timely manner, even when they were busy.

Ok, of the two things I had one was pretty good, one was just OK and that was pretty much the consensus of the 10 or so people I polled at the bar. The Chicken Wings were just ok. The sauce was decent, they were crispy but also not very meaty. The Fall Rice bowl was actually pretty good. Wild rice, apples, cranberries, pepitas and onions with a really good fig salad dressing. I would order this again for sure. Not horrible for a hotel bar by the airport. If your stuck here give it a shot. If you have a car and want to stay close (less than a mile)go to Hazelwood, one of the best suburban restaurants in the area.

Overpriced and underwhelming. Tried soup and sandwich. Service was okay, and timely.

Very nice restaurant inside the Hotel. Jeanie was superb and attentive. Amazing customer service and suggestion for food. I had steak bits and fries, it was tasty. She gave me a sour cream sauce to dip my fries, so good. Service was quick and hospitable, good for the area.

I'm sorry to leave this review, but be forewarned, it's simply not good food, by any measure, but certainly not at the price point. The ciabatta bread small plate was remarkably stale and reminiscent of an old crouton. The strip was about what I'd expect from a hotel restaurant (which this is), but overpriced and unfulfilling. If the restaurant had a more accurate rating, I'd have not left this but wanted to give others fair warning.

The service was excellent and that is what gets the star in this review. The food is overpriced and terrible. I had the lemon risotto and it was more sour lemonade flavored - the lemon completely overpowered the rice, cheese and mushrooms. Portion size for $31 was small. Worst meal I've had in a while. So many great options in the area.... Go find them because there is no reason to eat bad food.

First, this is a hotel restaurant-- you're paying a premium for convenience. Three breakfasts and one room service throughout the week. Excellent service and food. The Chicken BLT will be a definite repeat.

The food I had here was immaculate, cook the way you expect it and also how you the customer wants. The service here is 10/10 waiters are respectful and kind and they have a lot of patience.
